Ha, that’s definitely happened to me too!!
My life was going along fine for over 40 years using wire hangers but then social media shamed me into using anything but wire hangers. My partner got some felt hangers and I didn't care for them at all... it's like trying to wrestle a shirt on a child sometimes! I read some reviews on wooden hangers that stated some of the metal hook ends broke off so I landed on plastic hangers. It's whatever - I'm done caring about Pinterest perfection.
Totally my point at the end - do what works for you! So many people love those under sink organizers with drawers and I just can't make them work for me!

I had 450 velvet hangers which I ended up not liking. Whenever I cleaned out my master closet there was always lint/dust on the velvet. I was tired or lint rolling all the hangers. I sold all of them. I found rubber slim hangers that kept the clothes on and no upkeep. When I organize all my beauty products or any pantry items, I always faced the labels toward the front so I can easily read them. I only have white dishes and clear glasses to use every day. Including the holidays. I have all white baking dishes too. No holiday dishes for me.

roasting pans - we have three steel ones - I found they were great as trays in pantry to hold my vitamins (and they stack!) Anything in the kitchen will get grease on it.
