I loved my wooden hangers but I've switched to the velvet ones for everything but heavy jackets and its created so much space. I had those space saving hooks for the hangers but it was a pain to get things out.
😂 omg hahaha I got these puck lights I was like this is so smart for my closest but it didn’t occur to me to put them behind the clothes on the wall. 😅 well now I can go add a couple more and I will be able to see!
Felt hangers are not for me. I have a fairly simplified wardrobe with no gaping necklines so I'm good with thicker hangers that are smooth and easy to slide things on and off. I guess the tendency is to fill the closet space that you have so I'm encouraged by my small reach-in closet to only keep pieces that really work for me.
Oh my gosh felt hangers are one of my favorite things :) But you are right - they are so much thinner so maybe not helpful when trying to keep a more simplified wardrobe!
