Tidy as you go and you’ll hardly ever have to clean. This is how I was raised. Never allowed to have a messy room ever and bed always made. We were poor but always clean! All of this has stuck with me and I rarely need to deep clean my house because I’m always cleaning as I go. My husband is good about this as well thank goodness. Thank you for instilling these habits in your children!
I LOVE your videos and this one was RIGHT ON for me. I used to just toss my bills to the side to pay later and before I knew it a month had passed and I incurred a late charge. I had the funds in my checking but just procrastinated. Not anymore. I’ve just started writing the check and paying that way or online immediately. Such an easy task and good feeling. All of your tips are great. Keep ‘em coming and thank you ❤️.
You can even schedule the payment to leave your account on the due date! And you can make the check ready to mail and just grab it when its due...we do the latter for larger bills that we need to make sure there's coverage for
I always fold the laundry right away. Now this may sound silly but since I started folding as Marie Kondo does I am enjoying it a lot more. The drawers look so neat and tidy it makes everything look new like in a store. So it’s pleasing to put things away. I wouldn’t go so far to say it’s fun, but at least a pleasing task.

@@tarynmaria_ I'm glad you included it because it's a valid point. My partner doesn't even push his chair in at restaurants and I don't want to embarrass him by pointing it out but it embarrasses me. I must have been taught that it was tied to having good manners somehow.
The 1 minute rule in the kitchen is a no brainer which I can't understand these trashed kitchens on UA-cam. I learned the importance at the age of 9. My mother had just passed and I had the kitchen to myself. I hated cleaning a ton of things after the meal. I had soapy water in the sink and washed and rinsed the whole time I was cooking. At the end of the meal I just had the table dishes.
Very impressive you learned that at such a young age, I'm trying to teach my kids the same. I'm so sorry about your mom, that must have been really hard.

Thank you, Kimberly! Cleaning as you go - so much easier in the long run!

❤❤❤
Thank you!!
I do not leave my laundry in a basket to get wrinkled. I refuse to iron. I ALWAYS will follow through with my laundry…
I need to do this!
We don't own chairs. We only have benchs.
I love benches!
