I just found your account today, thank you so much for talking about these scams. I work in banking fraud and its crazy the scams we see, people need the information
I've catfished a couple of guys in my teens somewhere in the early '00. The yearning for validation makes people vulnerable. This goes both ways (I was very insecure). It's wrong to fool people and to take advantage of their trust. Yet I can also imagine that if I were a bit more heartless, manipulative and greedy I could've made a decent buck.
I believe that women (more so in today’s dynamics on dating) are masters at taking advantage of vulnerability. Not saying it’s good or bad - both really, depending on how it’s done of course. Just an observation I’m seeing. This is why I don’t confide in people anymore.
@@TURBOMIKEIFYnaw bro its goes both ways. Men and women can both be quite good at taking advantage of people. Find people you can trust. There are more of them then you know
Romance scammers will first listen to you, making you feel good that someone will listen. They will then repeat back to you everything you want to hear (rephrasing it, of course). So many people fall for this.
You could just as easily be scammed by someone in real life. The same rules apply. You need to vet them. Be patient and watch and use your brain and not your heart.
288k is diabolical
very much so, it's nuts
Ha, at least the hot single who wants me in my area is real
