$187.86 - 20 trips-106miles. I just saved everyone 9 mins
Take off that $50 bonus. Uber doesn't do that anymore. 2020 you get more like $130/day. Minus your gas, car maintenance, etc.
@beatle pete I believe it. I was using the original posters calculations. For 11 trips, how many hours did it take? Do you feel that you were justly compensated?
overall hours?
It's 8.5
My man 💪🏾
Don't go above and beyond for anyone, words to live by.
LOL, I might've not worded that exactly as I intended. The point I was trying to make is don't go above and beyond and waste time doing things only because you expect the customer to do the right thing and tip, because you'll probably be disappointed.
Rideshare Genius yeah and don't wait in line even if the restaurant tries to make you.
I KNOW that's right!
This made me subscribe lmaoo yesss
😊
Ezra is the best!!!!! His uploads are smart, in depth, and well made. And he doesn't come off looking like a company shill. But the most important thing to to me is... I sense his inherent honesty. His vids have given this 64 year old rookie a real leg up...CHEERS MAN!
Thanks I’m in Cali too around the same area and I haven’t tried it yet but excited to
Try because of you . Hope you have a good one !
I always tip cuz i know the FUCKEN struggle 🤷🏻♂️
thank you!
I don't know you, but I love you.
Neil Parmar no homo
Me 2 gave guy 20 bucks when showed he only made 10 bucks and had to get off the expressway to give to me
You make great content Video keep it up you've help me a lot so far thank you! 😁
Thank you sooooo much! I really appreciate that! :)
From New York City thank you brother. very nice of you to do this. keep up the great training. I am sitting in my computer in NYC going thru UA-cam to gain insite to this UBER EATS! niceeeee.
Thank you for sharing. 😊I like your video. Olivia from Texas.
i do uber eats in houston. i make 130 dollars in three days. ( literally 2 days and 3 extra hours from the next day )
i enjoy it because im always in a sticky situation so getting this extra money always helps.
Kemi Adorin' I live in Houston anf I just signed up for UE any tips?
galleria area/westheimer is the go to place 12:00-3pm and 7pm-12am ( Its high demand at night time )
sugar land/ missouri city area's are the go to places from 9am-12pm
you can stay in your car or go to there door.. i 98% of the time stay in my car. And also if you have an iphone or android use the maps on there don't use the uber navigation because it will mess you up and take you to wrong locations.
Goodluck!!
Thanks a lot I appy the information
no, its a bonus. i got alot of cash tips before they offered tipping in the app. your profile picture also helps the person you're delivering to decide if they wanna tip you or not. :)
* A NEW PLACE I DISCOVERED THAT THERE ARE LOTS OF DELIVERIES IS THE ((MEMORIAL AREA.))
*** and i now make over $100 in two days. ****
Kemi Adorin' hello how much you get paid per trip a total of $130 in two days doesnt seem like alot. Also i did 6 deliveries yesterday and only made $38 dollars. I wad wondering if you get a per trip amount as well as the $38. Thank you
I honestly like UberEats for a few reasons: (1) They place the order for you (No need for me to place an order and pay with a card), (2)You don't have to " be on the schedule", (3) You sign on and off whenever you like.... there's no set time frame, (4) You can get paid immediately after you deliver the order if you transfer your $$$ to your instant pay debit card, & (5) Believe it or not your chances of getting tipped is better with deliveries vs. rides IMO. OAN, the tipping option is coming soon. They plan to have the tipping option available to all cities no later than July.
MsLadyT Both. At first you had to get their debit card, but now you can add your own debit card (.50 cent if you transfer $ to your card~ not a huge deal). You just select which card to transfer to before each transfer.
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this video. Very interesting and well done!
Thank you for your awesome video I really liked it. I order ubereats 2-3 times a week, and I always tip $5-$20 depending on the time/distance. I greatly appreciate all ubereats/dash drivers for your service and time! Thank you.
Looks like your having fun, in my city my app hardly goes off, I'm lucky if I get 8 orders for the week. And yes I travel to my surroundings cities/towns
Thanks for watching! It's definitely more fun if you can stay busy. What city are you in? And have you tried running multiple apps?
thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you for watching, Yamie!! :)
This was a great video and super helpful thank you!! The best thing I've seen like this!
This was great seeing the earnings calculate for each order- one by one.. to your 20 delivery goal. Thanks for the video~!
Love these videos, hope more are coming soon! I've never bothered using Uber Eats because you don't get tipped. But I've had pretty good luck with DoorDash, usually make $15-20/hr.
btw after I watched your video on Doordash acceptance rates, mine went from 100% to 56% haha, but it's worked out really well.
if your using you car and paying all expenses, and making $15-20 @ hr, then realistically your working for free after you factor depreciation.
Uber eats has the tip option now. But not everyone uses it lol
3-5 people out of every 100 will try to lure you into delivering to the door. "All other drivers delivered to the door" is a popular one. Recently I had an order, where description said "I have a 7-month old, can't come out". In the fucking description! I noticed it after I picked up the food, so I gave it a shot in hope for a tip. Of course not. Every now and then I give occasional shots to the door, when I feel like stretching my legs and where I think tips are plausible. But there is NEVER a tip. People who tip are coming out after you pull up without notification.
Nice vid btw.
lol, you got that right. I send a text when I'm 2 minutes away that says "Hi! It's Ezra with UberEATS. I'll be arriving with your food in 1 minute. Please meet me outside for curbside delivery. Thank you! :)" It seems to work pretty well. I do feel slightly guilty when someone tips me after they come outside, but hey, I would tip too... I want every order delivered quickly for maximum efficiency, but I'm also careful not to do too much for a customer because then what would be the difference between UberEATS and DoorDash, PM or GrubHub? I want to continue making nice tips from those apps, so I want to be sure the customer experience is different too
Rideshare Genius I do ubereats in LA, and do curbside all the time unless they ask politely to deliver to their door because for some reason they can't meet me curbside, but like all ubereats customers, no tip! And once a customer gave me instructions to deliver to her door but I told her that ubereats is a curbside service, she said she didn't know so she came to me and she reported me to uber, and now my satisfaction rate went from 100% to 97% and uber told me that I have to deliver to customers door! But I will continue to do curbside until I get deactivated!
Uber support doesn't know where it's curbside and where it's door-to-door. If you keep asking, maybe on 2nd or 3rd try you will get confirmation that it's curbside in LA. And don't worry about the rating. It's hard to get below 85.
Yeah, like Dash said, support doesn't know. Keep doing curbside. Try my friendly "I'm 1 minute away. Please meet me outside for curbside delivery :)" text for smooth dropoffs. (I send it when I'm 2 minutes away lol)
Nope. They are separate.
Really well done and very thorough. Excellent!
Thank you for putting the amount in the description, and also a very well made video!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate you taking the time to comment! :)
Just launching UberEATS here in Pittsburgh and we did a walk-through of their delivery simulator on the channel. We'll see how it goes demand-wise and with parking etc. We're just starting out here!
Please let me know how it goes! Also, be sure to take advantage of any incentives in your city right now. They're gonna want drivers on the road and incentives will never be better than at launch time. I remember on launch day in LA I made like $200 and only did 1 delivery. Just being online and keeping a high acceptance rate qualified me for guaranteed hourly rates of up to $25 I think. Be sure to read the fine print!!
eats-aarons17014ue
Your Driver Mike ubereats f****** sucks. It cost way too much money. You're better off just ordering straight from the restaurant. Trust me on this people. Not only is there a delivery fee but there's also a couple more fees. Just check it out you'll see what I mean. Once you do it one time you are done with it. Everyone I know quit using it.
syw.com/uber/r/3gveaj link your uber acct and earn $
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the point of these delivery services were you could get food from any place and considering the fact not all places deliver and even if they do sometimes you might not fall into that specific restaurants delivery vicinity. Sometimes convenience just outweighs the extra cost involved.
I signed up for Uber almost a year and a half ago.
People around me tip pretty well.
I signed up for my motorcycle, so I can do deliveries with it.
Not only can I get places faster, but way less cost for maintenance and parking is easy with a motorcycle.
Plus 48mpg is a plus lol
Motorcyle is the way to go for deliveries! Nice!!!
spydergs07 can't deliver hot wings or a big cake on a motorcycle lol things like that😂😂😂😂
@@RideshareGenius what about when it rains a car is better
Can I is ur old car for deliveries
Thank you Rideshare Genius for that incredible and exhausting work experience! You are very detail and thorough, I really appreciate it very much because it felt like if I was riding with you in the car. Great job and you deserved more tips for sure!!
Thanks for taking time and making a good and decent video. Sorry about all the drama on your comments. It was cool. I saw your face get more tired through day. But you pushed through. Good stuff man.
I made 350 dollars this week with eats only. I did run a few hours that were outside of the lunch and dinner surge hours but mostly it was 7 hours a day. Just yesterday I made 67 dollars in four hours. Scoff at that if you want, but having eats in my market now has increased my income.
Mark, that is great! It sounds like you have a good strategy in place and you are using the app to your advantage. What city are you in? Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
I am actually in a small market. Spokane, Washington. Eats is relatively new here. I hope we don't get saturated with drivers doing eats and killing my racket...lol
If you have good earning opportunities in Spokane, it will probably catch on with more drivers and you'll have more competition. I've certainly experienced that in my 4+ years with Uber. But when/if it happens it your market, just be prepared to change your strategy or try different apps and I think more opportunities and advantages will come your way! How is tipping in your market? Do lots of folks tip?
I'm sorry to say that tips are not great here. Most times its no tip at all, but every once in a while you get a good one. My best one ever being the day I gave a guy a ride, got to his destination and he says, this is all the cash I have in me, and hits me with a one hundred dollar bill...
$200 per day in Santa Monica will buy you a tent after expenses.
In the Midwest and the South though you can live like a king. Well maybe not a king, but pretty good.
I really appreciate you making this video, thank you.
You're DOING an awesome job! The first time I tried it.. The service was excellent, but the second and last time was a nightmare! Got the wrong food and I totally see your point.
Most ppl do not tip, but I did when got great service.
I use regular Uber (for rides) quite extensively. I *always* tip through the app. I use Eats maybe once a week or so. I've never tipped an Eats driver 'cause I figured that I would tip through the app as well. It wasn't until just now, watching this vid, that I realized that the "rider" Eats app has no provision for tipping! My apologies to all my previous Eats drivers with a promise that that will never be overlooked again.
Bob, sorry for confusion. I released this video in April 2017. At that time, Uber had established they were strongly against drivers receiving tips and didn't allow in-app tipping. In July 2017, the CEO Travis Kalanick was forced out and less than a week later, Uber announced they were adding in-app tipping for drivers.
So now you can tip for delivery and for rides right in the app
Bob - I tip from the Uber eats tap. When you go back to rate the food, it will say continue and then it gives you the option to tip what you want and you will get the updated amount.
22 Dollars an Hour isn't bad at all! Especially if you're doing it on a bike. Gas fees though.
Pluhgins RBLX Even for me, he was driving 13 miles an hour, and my car has 350 miles per refuel. Each refuel costs $44 for me which would mean about .13c per mile. That total, means it would cost me $1.69 per hour during deliveries which still adds up to a good $20 an hour. That's better than what I make now. And you get a flexible schedule! I call that a good job.
forgetting wear and tear on your car, parking tickets, dealing with the lazy public
Ktownie city no wear and tear when you drive properly, no parking tickets when you park properly, + you deal with lazy public in every jobs.
And the wear and tear and depreciation of your automobile?
daniel lack uber gives big promotions on car maintenance, there're even some who sign with uber to get cheap maintenance.. And don't forget that the car will depreciate anyway.
You rock ubereats guy. Like your motivation and drive for that easy money...keep making cool videos...
Many thanks for taking the trouble over this video. Thinking of doing über eats here at home in the UK. Greetings from West Yorkshire
Thank you for the video. I was under the impression that you barely make any money driving for Ubereats but in your video you made almost $200 in a day. Wow, that's quite impressive.
+Fred Morris with Uber it comes down to the incentives. Without that $50, the day would've been a failure for me. So be sure that take advantage of Boost, Quest and Surge with Uber. Those things will make a huge difference in earnings if you learn how to use them
Making $130 in 8 hours isn't that bad at all. That's more than minimum wage. The $50 on top of that just sweetens the pot. I just started Postmates here in New Orleans and I do like it. I will try Ubereats.
I think the cost of living is probably a bit higher here, so $130 just wouldn't be enough for me. Also keep in mind vehicle costs still need to be deducted.
you work on your on term as well, and can have friends n family in ur car while doing deliveries which makes the experience a lot better
Rideshare Genius
yea and keep in mind that nobody should wear and tear their vehicle be exposed to getting cited by parking enforcement or police citing you for an infraction ALL FOR JUST TO MAKE AN EQUIVALENCE OF A MINIMUM WAGE JOB.In that case I'll stay at my minimum wage job and put zero effort at work tp just get by ,and at the end of the day I"ll get my mediocre wage without being exposed of getting a citation or in a car accident in an entire 8 hour shift...There must be an Incentibe for anyone to consider taking such amount of risk and not enough leverage for the driver or an attractive winning situation...Last time i checked, this is a CAPITAL SYSTEM AND WE WANNA WIN TOO,UBER...
you look hard worker.
Thank you! :)
not enough english broken in response
this my favourite comment
Thanks for posting this. I am a new Uber eats driver, and wanted to see how others fared before starting myself. I'm definitely not interested in hustling THAT hard, but I love the idea of having an extra job where I can make my own hours!
Wow! I didn't know you could make so much driving for UberEATS! That's pretty awesome. I'll have to consider that as a side gig haha. I was only recently introduced to UberEATS via the Mcdonald's promo and I'm liking it a lot!
i feel like uber eats was made more for college students who need a part time while going to school
Uber Eats is made for morons who can't crunch basic numbers and realise that it will cost them as much to maintain their vehicle as they will receive in payment.
sbarnett37tiger Barnes use tax deductions to counter this
And maybe for some of us retired guys who need to get out of the house?
@@shaunbarnett2972 rent a vehicle then
I hit 8 rides today for $20 bonus on Uber Eats. Need 3 more rides for $20 more, 4 more after that for $40 more.
Caviar and Postmates dead today.
Have you had much luck with Caviar, Ralph? I get requests from them very rarely and they are always far away...
Rideshare Genius I like Caviar but sometimes no pings. Last week made $160 with them. This week UberEats been big. No pings yesterday with Caviar slow.
Nice, I will have to try a Caviar order sometime soon. Just waiting for a good one! Do you do GrubHub too? I think that app is my favorite now
Rideshare Genius Grub Hub wanted me to make a schedule, little tougher for me with my schedule.
Ralph, do you still have a GrubHub account?
I have been watch a lots of different kind of video because I want to do this kind of job.
Yours the one most sincere and best video that shows things i need to understand.
Thank you for your time and effert.
Well done! That was really interesting to watch.
Has anyone else tried ordering from UberEATS or delivering for them??
Rideshare Genius 👋 I do the UberEats deliveries......I like it.
I do uber eats here in the central florida area, mainly close to the disney area and it is fun delivering and meeting different people.
I do UEats in Jersey City, NJ. I worked two 3 hour boosts from 11-2pm and 6 pm- 9pm. I had 12 deliveries from there but did 2 more after 9 pm so I could get a $35 bonus. I got a total of $145 including tips. I like Ubereats due to their boost and incentives.
we do not get boosts here in central florida .. it sucks
Young Mcconaughey
is it hard to park and go into a restaurant with out getting a ticket?... I know that Jersey city is crazy to get a parking spot...
I never delivered food before. I was thinking about doing it for extra money. Is the food always ready to go. When you get there? Do you have to wait for the food to be prepared?
Some restaurants are better than others... Once you see which restaurants always have the food ready when you get there, you tend to only accept orders from those restaurants! 😄
lol always ready hahaha
Most of the time the food is ready when you arrive. Sometimes you have to wait. The longest wait time a had was about 40 mins, but the resturant gave me a free pizza because of the long wait.
So you want to run your vehicle into the ground? You want to make about as much money as it will cost you to run and maintain your vehicle? You want to help Uber make billions of dollars of profit while you make virtually nothing for lots of stress and running your vehicle into the ground? You don't understand how it is that Uber can make so much profit from just an app and some marketing?
Seems pretty nice for choosing when you want to do it. I delivered pizzas for dominos and I absolutely loved it. With tips, even though they fluctuate, I usually averaged in total between wage, tips and reimbursement, around $20/ hour
Great video I do see that I should work toward getting the incentives especially in my area otherwise it is not worth it for me I will try one day and see how it goes. Thanks
Man that's rough. That looked like a grueling day. Only $180 before taxes, gas costs, insurance etc. etc. etc. I don't know why anyone would do this.
@Rich Pianas Last Oxy shhh, less competition.
Hey! I'm a driver for uberEATS in the Bay Area they changed the pay structure here and I wanted to know if they changed it in your market as well? If so if you can make a video on it thanks!
They did change pay here recently and I did make a little video about it. LOL ua-cam.com/video/2s5ApfHcN94/v-deo.html
I wanted to see if there were still strategies to earn and like most cases with Uber, it's through incentives...
Thanks for the video!
u ROCK brother, it's good $ TO I'll take that any day, but in San Diego THE incentives ARE ONLY in the weekends 7pm TO 3am Friday and Saturday only
A lot of people don't carry cash. Why doesn't Uber have a place on the app to put tips? Maybe then you would receive more tips
Yeah I just do uber x. I can do eats as well but I don't think it's worth it without tips. Especially right downtown in a city where there is hardly any place to park. If I order delivery for myself I always give tips to the person weather it's pizza or anything else
That's the $60 billion dollar question, Julian! Uber is anti-tipping. Allows for a frictionless experience for the customer and more control over drivers and our income. We would definitely get more tips if Uber allowed it. I'd probably have another $15K in my bank account now for all of the rides and deliveries I've done over the years.
They do have tipping In the app
Yeah, they added tipping in July, 2017. This video was from a few months before that
I would like to do more UberEats than ride requests. Can you share some tips and techniques I can use to make that happen?
You can get your account set up to receive ONLY UberEATS requests. What you'll want to do is get support to create multiple vehicle profiles for you. X only, EATS only and X/EATS. Please check out this video I made for more info! 😀 ua-cam.com/video/_-yIBjevdvo/v-deo.html
Queenn Callier this is a good question, thanks for asking it
Queenn Callier There should be something in your settings where you can toggle the option to do only deliveries, rides or both. If you don't have the option, call support so they can help you.
Great job. I love this service. 20 is a lot of deliveries! You guys and gals work hard for your money, so I always tip.
This would be a great jerb for someone with a smart car (city parking) or even a motorcycle with a hard bags (smaller orders).
Thanks for making this video mannnnn!
I find it incredibly rude when people don’t tip. Whenever I order from Grubhub or DoorDash I always tip the drivers especially if they’re driving from a restaurant that’s located far from where I am.
Really depends of the country you’re living in. Here in France people don’t often tip, or tip really little.
When I order on Uber Eats I don’t tip but do a five or four star review for the guy. Just because I can’t afford to tip here and there.
For tax deduction dont you get to deduct .54 cents per mile?
For 2016 the rate was $0.54/mile but for 2017 it dropped to $0.535/mile. Be sure to use a mileage tracking app! I like this one stride.app.link/rideshare-genius
Rideshare Genius E Track the miles from the restaurant to the delivery what about the miles that you put on your car to get to the restaurant or to get home
Greg Myers tax deduction bro
This is an awesome vid. I wanted to know what it was like and how much or how little I might make here in Ojai. Watching this made the decision for me. Great vid. Thanks for your honesty.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! ❤ GREAT VIDEO!!! ❤ GREAT JOB!!! ❤ YOU ARE AMAZING!!! ❤
Five million dollar apt and zero dollars tip. You know what to next time when that address pops up again.
FAXS BRO!
I wonder the million dollar mansion how much
10 deliveries in and I am at 97 dollars for 6 hrs but I screen caus I know the addresses of the pickups and got 15 dollars in tips.
Yes! I screen as well if possible. For this video, an acceptance rate of 80% was required to get the incentive. But now Uber has dropped that requirement in my area so I can screen orders and get the incentive quicker
what is screening orders
Very useful, thank you!
I loved your video. Thanks alot !
Thanks, Nancy 😀
$187! Thats more than I make in 1 year :=(
Where is it that you live ? Cause here in New York I work 12 hours and just get 13 for all those hours
Los Angeles. You should be able to stay busy in New York. Might want to try some new strategies
It's probably because of the traffic. But I'm in New Jersey and I make like 30 deliveries in 12 hours.
Great video!!appreciate this.
Thanks for this video buddy very helpful
Thanks for watching!!! 😄
by THE way I did 2 door dash deliveries together and it worked out good I'm not nervous when i GET 2 order together anymore
+oscar castillo I'm so glad to hear!!!
oscar castillo reminds me of pizza delivery days
I average a 100 a day on a bike in Chicago around the gold coast area even on a nice day
How many orders do you do a day on average on a bike? And how long does each order take you on average? I guess the upside of the bike is lower vehicle costs
Rideshare Genius I typically work 4 to 8hrs.I don't work on high rain days or days when the temperature is lower than 30 degrees. The area I work in is key because I have alot of repeat Customers and the majority of order in the gold coast area stay in the area.Plus Chicago is bike friendly city with express bike lanes.I don't work for looking tips but sometimes I get decent tips. The first 2 weeks were hard getting my body prepped. u put n work but it is better than working in an entry level position were u r stationary.I work at a nice and leisurely pace.I take long breaks on beaches,Starbucks etc.I was in financial ruins but climbed and alot of my future revenue into things like cameras and laptops. Working the sharing economy I have met alot of interesting people that helped me opened up different revenue strings.Without a college or master degree the sharing economy provides alot freedom than other gigs sometimes I put in overtime but it's all good
Not to brag but I'm averaging $7,146 per day working 0-1 hours per day trading in the stock market. You should seriously consider investing so you can add another income stream with potential for exponential growth. You'll most likely end up making way more in the end that way. :)
Omg friend I make 6 delivery in 10 hours working in Rotterdam and Lott of kilometers in bicycle
I took a big hit for sure this month lol but surprisingly I'm still up about $69k for the year. I sold a chunk of my calls and moved the money into stocks and put options to lower the risk a little bit. If the CPI and PPI numbers for January are decent then I think the stock market will be ok for at least a little while. Lots of uncertainty though I don't like it lol.
nice vid , love it
Thank you, Ariel!!!
You look like a chill/cool dude, bloody good video mate!
Does Uber eats train you not to open the food bag?
UberEATS doesn't really train us to do anything! 😃 But my opinion is that we are just delivery people, hustling around, getting our hands dirty. So we shouldn't be touching the food or messing with it in any way. That's best for liability, food safety, etc...
McDonald's says that y'all have been trained not to open the bag. We actually put stickers on the bag to keep them closed. We have had to remake orders because the bags have been opened. This was the reason for my question.
I don't remember getting any training or instructions from Uber about food handling at any point... And I've done hundreds of UberEATS deliveries dating back to January 2015... Uber is careful not to provide too much instruction and definitely not "training" because workers who receive training are often considered employees, which would be a problem for Uber... So you work at a McDonald's that is fulfilling UberEATS orders now? How is it going? Is it a disaster with all of the orders and drivers coming in?
Robert McFall q
this because they are partners
I must be in the wrong city, I get one call per hour, sometimes even longer
You should run multiple apps if you are not getting enough requests
this video is awesome!!! 😍😍😍😉😉😉😁😁😁 it dont get more real than this 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for this video!
What makes more money? Uber or Uber eats
There are opportunities with both... At rush hour times, people are probably gonna want rides. At mealtimes, people are gonna want meals. And when demand goes up, earnings go up. Know what I mean?
Now when you pick up the food you don't have to pay right?
Correct! You never have to pay with UberEATS
I just signed up for uber but id like to do uber eats, how do i sign up?
Dwayne Perkins Google ubereats driver application
Matt B The person that ordered it already paid for it. You just have to pick it up and deliver it to them. They only thing you gotta pay is gas and work for your vehicle lmao
Great video 👍🏼 thanks for sharing !
Thanks, Edgar!! :)
subscribed!! This channel is too good! Maybe a suggestion you can daily blogs for youtube while driving uber, maybe like customer interaction etc. Maybe you can get some extra cash from youtube as well! Have a great week buddy
That’s a lot of work and a lot of time for only $180 - as a server I can make that in a single four hour lunch shift. I was watching this to see if I might wanna switch from serving to doing this and lol no thank you- but very informative video thanks!
Ummm it's much worse than that. He's not 'making' $180. That's the total revenue. He's driven 170 kilometres. That's about $112 worth of vehicle expense calculated at 66 cents per kilometre. So he's actually only 'made' $68 or about $8 per hour. And that's with the bonus. Without the bonus it's only about $2 per hour. Why do people never consider the vehicle costs? This is precisely why Uber is a multi billion dollar profit operation. Because there are so many people too lazy to think about the vehicle costs that they can't think beyond the dollar figure shown in the app.
do you get the 50 dollar bonus everyday you work ?????
Great question, Ernie! No, I wish I could get it every day. I'm sorry for not explaining it better. Check out this video I made about Uber Quest - ua-cam.com/video/w-ot_dTdKy8/v-deo.html
The bonuses vary all the time in the requirements and amounts and generally I receive 2 bonus offers per week
Wow $187 in 8.5 hours. I do $187 in 2-3 hours worked in regular Uber. Why would I do this. Pathetic
J Thomas if you don't feel comfortable with people in your car
J Thomas its not pathetic.... its good if youre trying to hustle to try to make some side money especially if youre under 21 and dont feel comfortable being in a car with someone you dont know
Look how long it took u make that
The best video!!thanks.
Well done man, you deserve the money. Good vid.
I'm just gonna come out and say it... Rideshare Genius produces the best videos with the best information in da game. period.

LMFAO!
Don't be a douche bag!
Cute delivery guy
Nice video.. Really thinking of giving this a try...
Thank you for this video. I signed up a week ago.
In The Netherlands uber eats is delivered by bike its so weird to see people doing it with a car.
We don't ride bikes in the USA. We are too lazy. 😀 (Just kidding, I love riding my bike)
You can use your scooter or car too.
Theres a video where some guy delivers using a skateboard.. hey, dont knock it.. i respect his dedication.. and before you know it, he'll have enough to buy a scooter.. which are really COOL by the way...
The distances here are greater, I delivered today and it was more than 5 kilometers it would take way too long on bike haha
I do about 3.2 miles just going to work on bike. Takes me 16-18 minutes to do it with stopping at red lights and having to power up 3 fair hills
what kinda vehicle you driving?
In this video I was driving a gas hatchback that gets only 23 mpg. But now I have a much more fuel efficient vehicle!
Rideshare Genius So are you saying you recommend people get a Prius or something for Uber/Lyft/Food delivery?
For Uber and Lyft, a fuel efficient car can help limit your gas expense a lot. For delivery, you don't drive nearly as much and can have an older car and a 2-door so no necessarily worth investing in a hybrid
can you drive any kind car for this or has to be a super recent car model like the uber taxi s are required ?
You are the best. You deserve all of the tips.
Great video thx!
Using a car to deliver something as light as food is overkill. Use an ebike or motorcycle.
You are wasting your gas money.
Cosmo John as he make $200 for $20 in gas. Might want to rethink your logic.
It depends... Some orders (that pay really well) would be too big for a bike. Also, I like to be able to switch between delivery and rides if I want to. There are pros and cons, but delivery requires much less driving than rides so gas isn't really costing me much
Lmao i wish we had uber eats in the third world, thats like a month worth of work paycheck
Where do you live? :)
Yeah here in Toronto I would say the average will go from $15-25/hr and in the winter $23-40/hr it’s usually pretty steady which is good.
great video man. great video.
Yeah, $180 for a full day plus having to use your own car is... meh.....but this is coming from someone who lives in the Midwest. In Cali I gotta think that's pretty pitiful
Minimum wage is $10.50 per hour in California. There is certainly a cost to using my own car. If you have a car that doesn't cost a lot to operate, the mileage write-off can make a big difference. Yes, I used my own car, paid for gas (about $12), put wear and tear on the vehicle, etc... BUT in addition to my earnings, I reduced my tax obligation by over $50. So it's certainly a trade off and can play in the driver's favor if done right.
And you also made money by demonstrating a video of how to make money with uber eats by making money
You know that I know that you know. Plus I know a guy who knows a guy whose cousin knows a guy!FOTFLMAO
LMAO
Glad this available... for those of us who can't see to drive at night.
Im thinking of giving this a try. I love driving and listening to music so it sounds fun
I'm just a kid but 1 day i will become the best uber eats
Instead of wanting to be a delivery driver you should aim higher
Let the boy live. It's better than saying he'll become number one druglord!
Follow your dreams lol
Im shure this guy works for uber! Its not that easy believe me.
don't be sure of things you're not actually sure about. I don't work for Uber and did it really seem that easy? I worked all day!
@@sassysunflower He probably means that most people don't make close to 130 in a day
You got your first delivery at 11.37am (01:50).
Last delivery at 10.06pm (07:25) 10hrs 29min.
$130.86/ 10.5 hrs=$12.46
Following along, you fluctuated from 20 per hour to $11 an hour
I can't count the $50 dollar bonus because I won't get that.
Santa Monica is small and compact so you have that advantage as well.
I watched because I need extra cash. I am trying to figure out if I can make any extra money doing this in my after work hours.
Excellent video. Got the info I needed
Awesome video!!
