doordash reminds me of GTA mission lol
Met this guy while dashing he shared with me a lot of tips and tricks in a few minutes of talking with him. He definitely knows his stuff.
I really like how you get straight to the point and use clear and concise explanations. Thank you for doing the vids bro, really appreciate it!
Great videos. I started doordash last week and was worried about the acceptance rate. Glad to hear that I can start denying some of these ridiculous orders. Thanks!!
Another thing is the more crappy orders I decline the more I get of them. It's like they punish drivers who don't accept $3,95 Starbucks 7 miles away by giving them a jack in the Box order for $6.75 10 miles away. They make it almost impossible to make a living with them and not sure why they don't have a minimum order. Like $20 or more. The low orders make no sense.
I decllined all orders over 5 miles and there were alot. I took just the local ones being very patient and selective. I got an order that was a group order over $100 the payout was 11.00 and the tip was an additional 20$. I made 70$ in 6 deliveries. Cherry picking pays off.
You ring the doorbell and hand them the food. Rating? WTF
Thank you for this. Today is my first day so I’m excited! Love driving around, glad I found a good way to get paid for it!
11% Acceptance Rate !!! ~ Still Employed !!!
I like the fact that you under "customer service"! You understand the "responsibility" of providing a good customer experience once you have accepted an order. I used to be General Manager of a delivery restaurant and, if I still was the Manager, I would hire you in a heartbeat. Thanx
Bro this video is still and even more relevant today!
My acceptance went from 95% to 85% in 2 days lol. One time i lost 5% cause i declined a $6 order that was 12 miles to complete and I got it 5 times in a row. Hate that sometimes.
This vlog is from 2017...today is 2019 so I don't see anymore doordash vlogs from you...are you still working for doordash?
I had a DoorDash order online to findout the order was not placed when I was at Cheesecake Factory. My customer complainted against me. No more complaints. I will not accept another order from Cheesecake Factory
Hey great video and thanks for sharing your personal experience! I live in the North Seattle area and have been stressing over some of these long ass drives trying to keep my acceptance rate over 95%. It's at 98% as of this writing......but that's about to change :-) Anyway, thanks again!
You are the first person who explained this. Thank you
I live in Houston so everything is zoned off to where you really don’t drive that far. So I’m ok with accepting everything because I get to stay close to home. I’m always like 15 minutes away.😀
I agree that you have to be somewhat selective when it comes to accepting orders but sometimes I think it's better just to take the order and drive a little further than you normally would, within reason, then to be sitting in a parking lot waiting for the perfect order and not make any money at all.
Bottom line up front: Acceptance rating at 100% usually imply
Thanks awesome info, I just started I did ONE delivery, I just jump in in the last half hour of block, how DO you know is a far delivery
