I realized over the years that I'll continue to avoid payroll like the plague. 😬
I also realized that recruiting and talent acquisition isn't too bad when you're recruiting with a clean heart, keeping candidates updated, and working for a company where your values align with theirs.
From Nov 2021 until this month, has been my first year of not only doing dedicated recruiting but also being a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist.
👉🏽 I learned about roles that I initially knew very little about.
👉🏽 I searched (or sourced) for the best talent globally.
👉🏽I provided hiring managers with a schedule full of qualified candidates.
👉🏽 Yep, there were times I missed the mark, but the times I hit the target on the head outweighed the times I dropped the ball.

I hate recruiting with a passion and somehow I ended up in a recruiter role. I’m definitely job searching now to see if I can land a generalist role. Interviews and managing candidates are annoying

I really value this video...I was laid off and I am looking for a new TA role. It's hard knowing I'm qualified and can do the role but I am not getting placed...its creating self doubt and lack of enthusiasm to interview. Can you help or have advice on that? Thanks for all you do.
