I didn’t find the music distracting.. maybe a touch loud, but still fine. Awesome video I’ve come back to it a couple times while deciding. I just bought the dji mic and it a little overwhelming
Amazingly, I happen to own the DJI Mic 2 for my DJI Osmo Action 4, the Movo MV M101, and The Purple Panda, so you had my rapt attention. I also have a Yellow Way Lav, Deity V.Lav, and Boya BY-M1S Lav. My conclusion is that I'm willing to "fish the bottom" even more than you. 🤣 My testing is slightly less rigorous in that, if they work at all, they're good enough. This saved me so much time, money and potential frustration with not getting the quality of sound I want. THANK YOU for making this! My fave part was the side by side testing of audio. I closed my eyes and screenshot when i heard audio I liked. This helped me narrow down my choices so quickly!

the Shure MVL works perfectly with the DJI mic1. I don't understand their decision to change the 3.5mm port. That said, i still think the Shure MVL sounded the best with the DJI mic1/2.

@@kylemeshna I have the version of the mic that has a gold locking ring. With regards to ensuring a secure insertion, my model allows the ring to be pushed all the way up towards the mic capsule.
