FUN FACT - The guy at the end driving the truck, is ACTUALLY the guy who created the Glastonbury Festival, he still owns the land and runs the festival today. What a guy!! He pays himself £60,000 out of the £24 Million Glastonbury makes, and gives £2 Million of it every year to charity.
Henry-Charles Sharpe That's a very cool thing to find out. Thanks, Henry-Charles!
+Henry-Charles Sharpe i didn't get it you said Glastonbury makes £24 Million, he gives himself £60,000 and gives £2 Million to charity. 24000000-2000000-60000 = 21940000, where that £21940000 goes? o.O
+irakli yuiigjkgg Paying famous artists and everything that's needed to make such a huge festival, is very expensive. I've red somewhere that Micheal Eavis donates everything of the profit to charity. Not just 2 million.
Jimi is in heaven and he knows we still love him.
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
@@chrismarple He sits at the right hand side of the Father, Son of God. He said so himself several times.
oh man. This guy was a God that came to Earth to give some happiness with his guitar magic. Thanks Jimi!
That genre of music should never die. It should be built upon and improved.
Not improved Dude....preserved. where now can you get authentic sounds like this......... music evolves through styles melding together then branching off. You will never get a guitarist in the style of jimi again he was unique.
Aint that the FUCKIN TRUTH!!!!But maybe nobody was talented or connected enough to make that happen?
@@andrewdownie9677 I agree the 60's where the 60's the 70's the 70's ect ect. There is a time and place for musical innovation has always been right now, borrowing from the past for inspiration and growing it not replicating that is creativity
@ALL THE BLESSINGS AND THE LOVE OF THE UNIVERSE I've been through this myself my whole life I've always been an outsider/outcast! You should probably STOP feeling SORRY for yourself and STOP trying to fit into society if they don't want YOU! FUCK'EM there is a lot of ways to make money without selling your soul or even dealing with the general populous.
i bet tens of thousands of guitarists and musicians play this music currently. Just arent famous.
Special thanks to the Hendrix Family for releasing all this wonderful archival material and making this available to all of us. It's what Jimi would have wanted.
I always thought of Jimi as someone who didn't shine on the big screen, just imagine all the crazy shit he did on stage off record, all these iconic moments are all iconic because we can still see them. Imagine seeing one of those 'iconic moments' but it wasn't filmed so you're left alone with the people in that room or arena being the only ones who witnessed such greatness
Whenever someone looks at something from the past - before their time - it's so hard for them to imagine what things were like before that time. Let me tell you, it's not possible to "overrate" Hendrix. Not because he could "out shred" anybody, but simply because he changed everything - EVERYTHING.
I love this song so much! my grandma was alive when he had passed. What a musical Legend! Jimi Hendrix didnt died Earth was just part of his tour. 1942- 1970
I was only 11 when Hendrix died so missed out on seeing him live, but by the time I was 17 and playing along to Hey Joe on my guitar, thinking I was going to be the next Hendrix, shortly after I realised that Hendrix was light-years ahead of the best of the best and we thought he was from another gallaxy ! Your so so right, He's back on tour on earth on utube for all to hear and witness especially you younger generations. I love going back in time to watch him play every now and then and listen to him on the ( BBC's ) Lulu Show, Hendrix was like a martian that had just landed on the BRITISH BBC TV. and broke all the BBC's rules ! if you haven't seen it It's worth looking up, It might not seem much now but back in the day it seemed outrageous.
Back in 2016 an old friend of mine gave me a bunch of cd's that I periodically thumb through and today November 13, 2021 I found this copy on disc of "Jimi Hendrix" War Heroes. My friend passed away in August 2018, a good man he certainly was. He is missed very much.
.
Happy 80th Birthday today from England Jimi - your influence and great music will never die!
Jimi was way ahead of his time. Still is to this day. I can only listen about half of an album at a time. His music is like a strong drug. You can only do so much then you gotta put it down for a while.
It is impossible to overstate the greatness of Jimi !!!! his tone was simply sublime his chords were so fat the way he effortlessly switched between rhythm and lead not to mention his vocal phrasings as a musician he was the total package
Jimi didn’t die! He just finished touring earth 🌍🎸🤘🏻😎
Man... this is too too much.. I've been a above-average Hendrix enthusiast over 35 years this video is awesome..
bring me to tears
I think the point with this video is to show how it could've been if Jimi suddenly lived and played again today.
"You got to tell the children the truth they don't need
a whole lot of lies. Because one of these days, baby,
they'll be running things. So when you give them love
you better give it right" Jimi Hendrix
In a world swimming in a sea of lies they murdered
the body but the spirit and message lives on within
many forever. The most truthful and forbidden
documentary ever published has been taken down
from theirtube countless times since its 2017 release:
"Europa The Last Battle". Watch and share the full
10-part series at archive-dot-org while you still can!
Those kids wouldn't be all thwarting forward with a hand March. They would be jelled out from the real L.S.D.. complete jelly
.
I'm not sure about that. Even shortly before Covid, guitar Heroes were pretty out of fashion..guitars it's no more in youth immaginery. I can seen great guitarist playing in small club for a very interested audience
1:08 This guy is on the good shit lol
Hes brain was definitly out for a few moments after hearing jimi playing some guitar scalas..
I used to have a CD called Bleeding Heart that was Hendrix and Jim Morrison. Everyone in College loved it!
Thanks Jimi. Couldn't have said it better. My favorite Hendrix video because of the night stars that collect to form Jimi & his red tunic & bells. But it also has images that endear Jimi's burning guitar from the Monterey Pop Festival June 1967 & images of his very last performance at the Peace & Love Festival held at The Isle Of Fehmarn Germany on September 6, 1970. Great song, great music. Incredible guitarist. Hard to digest that Hendrix has been gone almost 50 years.
R.I.P Jimi 1942 - Forever. Your music will live on in the generations to come. Happy Birthday.
I love love love Hendrix. I've actually looked up into the night sky to see him playing his guitar...I was on 5 hits of acid but whatever! Lol. This video was pretty cool. Rock on...peace
I was tripping on acid one time listening to Jimi and when I closed my eyes it was like I could see him in the studio performing the song. pretty cool
The Goat Of Guitar Will Live Forever🐐
There is just no killing great music & the spirit of those who make it & enjoy it.
This is my first time hearing this. It sounds like the song he quotes in the movie. These are some of his best vocals. Such a great talent.
Jimi's looking down from his Watchtower in the Sky. Rock on, James Marshall Hendrix!
What a great production! The guys that did the video knocked it out of the park. The Editing and Effects were outstanding. I'm sure Jimi would have loved it.
A lot of clever work put into this. I appreciate it. Thanks!
A true innovator and incredible guitarist. Way Way ahead of his time. Every time I'm on stage I have to throw a few licks of his into my playing. Thanks Jimmie! Been gone for many years but your legend and style of playing will always live on!
WOW THIS IS AWESOME!!!JIMMY WOULD BE TICKLED PINK IF HE WERE ALIVE TO SEE THIS SINCE HE'S NOT I'LL SMILE FOR HIM😀😃😄😁😆
Whoever has created this video has done a fabulous job. What great sync between the song and the visuals. Seems picture perfectly real.
+Tirtha Bose The footage is from the Isle of Wight... this is a studio song :/
TheMANright101 I know that. I was complimenting on the way the video has been created using Isle of Wight footage and other more recent concert crowd sequences. The whole thing has been put up very nicely. Jimi's indeed looking like an ethereal God in this one. Kudos to the creator.
The most important guitar player in all humanity history. Simply the number one... Long live for Jimmy 👑❤👽🎸🎼🎤🎵
This is by far one of the most well edited, well thought out and considerate videos for one of Jimis plethora of awesome songs!! Thank you very much!!!
Jimi Hendrix is the best. An example of life led of quality rather than quantity
The greatest ever. Time took him, will bring is together again.
Love jimi’s vocal scream 🔥 very powerful!
WE Love YOU Jimi...thankyou for every note and lyric that came thru you. I am forever YOUR I-chele. Muah !
And here we see the King of Psychadelic Blues at his finest
I have being studying piano for many many years before I picked up the guitar. This riff is for sure on par with the piano phrases chopin wrote in his etudes. It serves both as a terrific melodic-rhythmic phrase but it's also a phenomenal exercise for your fingers.
Happy Birthday Jimi....FOREVER
Simplemente magia musical. Un músico eterno.
Cuanto tiempo busque este video... Lo vi hace tantos años y ahora te encontré... Me gusta, me encanta y tu el rey estas ahí
After seeing this video my heart that was bleeding miss those good times of the Woodstock Festival, where it was, but I felt the whole aura of the echoes of Jimi solos on my life of young musician I was at that time ... still carry with me the good taste and sweet that memory. Save Jimi !, the greatest guitarist of all time!...
SENSACIONAL!
My all time favorite Jimi Hendrix song
Hendrix rocked 👍💯
I love the nod to Elmore James lick. He does it without a slide though amazing
Timeless Talent 🙀
R.I.P. Jimi☮️☮️🎵🎵🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
For every song in life there is a tale up in the skies ...
They paint the picture of a memory driven by heart's desire ...
The art is what is left of the memories we share in love with each other ...

That unique groove only the Hendrix possesses :)
I'm deaf and this he still my favourite artist.
Some people are racist and don't like hip hop but when it comes to rock music and Hendrix, they love him !!!
His spirit is strong, keep them spirits up forever !!!
Just cus you don’t like hip hop doesn’t mean your racist just rather listen to a guitar and drums and bass.
Badass editing, badass guitar skill, badass strats... He is not guitaris, he is not singer, he is alien
JIMI HENDRIX É A ESSÊNCIA MUSICAL DO ROCK N ROLL, POIS ALÉM DE TOCAR COM UMA HABILIDADE INCRÍVEL UM INSTRUMENTO COMO A GUITARRA ELE AINDA ERA O VOCALISTA ! ! ! 🎸🎤 MUITO TOP ! ! ! SHOW ! ! ! 🌠

I love it!!
Hendrix ja dizia ," ninguém influencia ninguém cada um faz oque quer fazer", mas se ele influenciar essa juventude a tocar guitarra esta tudo muito bem.
LOVE JIMI !!!
