✅ This Acura got hit AGAIN in the SAME EXACT spot... WHY does it feel like DEJA VU ???

- I bough this totaled Acura from Copart few years ago and after I fixed it, it became my wife's daily driver until some guy hit her in the same exact spot where it was hit before. What are the odds? Almost feels like a case of déjà vu. So here I am, fixing it again. It got hit hard enough to where it once again needed a slight frame pull that I could easily do on my homemade frame rack. And as usual I'm going to go in depth over all of the steps that it took me to get this Acura back to pre-accident condition. Including framework, paint work and re-assembly.

Sorry to hear the Acura was damaged again but I'm glad to see another video from you. Luckily your wife has a guy like you to fix it right up. Awesome job. You're a inspiration to us home DIYers. Keep up the great work.
This was a blessing in disguise. At first I was upset, but in the end I really came out ahead so I'm almost glad that it happened :-)
Fix206 is the real deal. I had a flat tire while working in his neighborhood and he came to my help and patched up my tire while he was already working on his cars. This is how I found out about you, and he denied any kind of payment for his help. Bravo man, you rock
Oh hey buddy, how's it going... Glad I was able to help out when you were in a pinch !!
Nice to see new video, looking forward to next project.
Thank you, just started on the new one, hopefully won't be too long 👍
Missed you brotha, best repair videos on the internet! Looking forward to new projects and all the creativity you bring.
Haha thanks Darian !! I try my best to bring you guys as informative of a material as I possibly can... New project videos are already in the works :)
Glad to have you back Fix! Glad to see you posting!

Thanks again!
Great work!!
Thank you very much!
16:43 can't wait for the videos 👍
I should have it out pretty soon... Stay tuned :)
Made me laugh on two counts.. Not at you, but at me. Our first car was a 79' rabbit. I had it stripped and in primer ready to take it down to my school that had a booth for me to paint. She had to run a quick errand and demolished it rear ending somebody (I had the bumpers off naturally) when she wasn't paying attention. Had to rebuild the front end before getting back to where I was for paint lol. Years later I was replacing the front trunk panel of my MR2 out in the driveway when it starts to rain/snow. I kept going, welding in the rain and snow. lol x 2. PS, bumpers never match even on factory paint, so no sin there :)
Rain or snow if it needs to get done you can't stop. I painted a couple of years ago under a canopy while it was snowing outside. Below freezing temperatures and my paint work still came out looking good 😎
i paint outside too 😅 all about the skill !
That's right, it's all about what you know...😎 But haters out there still gonna hate and bash 😂
Probably just prowling on grindr or something 😅😂😂😂 love your videos man
Haha... Thanks man! :)
Fabulous job can’t wait for the videos on your wife vehicle
Thank you, working on the next set of videos right now, should be out pretty soon
Nice to see you back again, but sorry about the circumstances with the car crash and the loss of your favorite tree. This next project looks like it's way more work than the Acura both times. It will be interesting seeing how you straighten that one out.
The next project was definitely an interesting one, I had to move both frame rails and one strut towers back into position, also had to dissect a bit into the engine bay, since some of the structural metal was pretty mangled up. All in all everything turned out great and wife loves her new ride that she's been enjoying for the past few months.
@@fix206 Sounds very interesting. Hope you get the time to do the editing.. Filming is one thing, but editing takes a lot of time. I try to edit videos in Shotcut occasionally, but I find it difficult. It seems to be above my pay grade, as the saying goes.
I sure hope to find some time and drive to keep pushing these videos out... I'm currently in the process of finishing up one of my latest projects. Kind of wanted to do an American muscle car rebuild on the channel for sometime now, just never came across anything that fit the bill until recently... So I'm pretty excited about that one, however I got a bunch of older material that I should go through and post first, so the muscle car videos are probably going to get pushed back a bit.
RIP that plum tree 😑
I was so sad :(
Yes, always sad when that happens. 😢
How did it work from an insurance standpoint? Did you have to bring it in for a quote and then did they pay out based on that quote so you could pocket some money?
Nope, didn't have to bring it in... I work part time at the body shop and the owner who's a long time friend of mine, submitted the estimate for damages through his shop just like any other insurance claim. Insurance company approved the repair and mailed me a check for damages... And then I got it fixed :) I really came out ahead on this deal 😎
Were is a good place to buy airbags here in seattle area?
Check local classifieds (Offerup, craigslist, Facebook marketplace), Local wrecking yards- B&R and Gundies are the big ones, if all fails then try Ebay
Well I guess you know how to take it apart and fix it up this time...
I would say that it was a little easier doing it second time around since as you've mentioned I've already been there before :-)
You have completely disappeared bro, is everything okay?❤
All is good brother, just been working a lot and filming, just not editing and posting :-)
Is there an app to get the vehicle under hood measurements
There isn't necessarily an app, but there are different programs out there that offer under hood dimensions. I actually went over this in my latest video where I show the program that I use, if you're interested here is the link to that video: ua-cam.com/video/h1KnIMv08N0/v-deo.html
Ok so I have to go to dealer and get the dimensions from them
Don't think dealer provides chassis dimensions
What's the bumper place called?
Genuine bumpers
❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you my friend !!! 👍👍
Do you have honey bees Fix?
Phillip Hall
Not sure I follow...
@@fix206
You mentioned you lost your plum tree that has thousands of bees visit it during the bloom.. I was wondering if you were actually a beekeeper... PS keep the good vids coming 🙂
Currently I am not a bee keeper, but looking to relocate to Florida in about a year or so, planning to have a large garden that I'm going put together over there... And with all of that plus warmer climate bee keeping is going to be a strong possibility 👍
