You are the first french person that I hear talking English and your accent in combination with your calm voice is so pure beautiful. Its like listening to a romantic song.
I was one of those people who couldn't stop after one piece of cake or cookie. Since I started doing your hacks, I noticed a dramatic change in my craving for sweets, I don't want to eat as much as I used to, and I feel so much better
I began the hacks about two weeks ago and lost a few pounds. I'mhave more energy and my sugar numbers are getting better. I sometimes have a tiny piece of chocolate after the meal. That seems to work. I fast so that helps even more. Amazing something so easy has helped after years of struggling.
Your hacks are so simple to implement! I am using them in different combinations every day and feeling pretty good! One thing I am learning is to listen to my body and tailor the amounts of starch and sweet to satisfy my appetite and not feel deprivation. If I start to feel hungry, I make sure I'm hydrated and then see if I'm truly hungry in 20 minutes or so. Most days, I find I don't actually need a snack. This must mean I'm regulating my glucose much better than I used to, as I would eat 2-3 snacks a day in the past. I'm really enjoying thinking of food a lot less. Thank you so much, Jessie! 😊
I have struggled with cravings for a long time. I believed I was emotionally broken. I have even forgone food just to eat anything sugary which lead to more cravings and weight gain. Every time I would say I am never eating sugar again I always go back to eating it. I have in the past experimented with eating sugar at the end of the meal but it also caused more cravings and I never ate a reasonable amount of sugar. Now after almost a month using these hacks I can have chocolate in my house without thinking about it or binging on it. My body feels amazing. I believe this is just the beginning. I am eagerly awaiting Anti-spike. This is so amazing to feel this freedom.
i only feel guilty that i did not know that type 2 diabetes is reversible earlier...i do not have any more cravings for anything sweet. also no real hunger whatsoever , the more i stay fasting the better i feel...i embrace the 3 pillars : staying low carb, fasting for more than 16 hours daily, walking around 10000 steps daily...and incorporating many of the hacks presented by the Glucose Goddess ! i know it maybe difficult to most but the body will surely adapt itself ...pleasure is feeling good and healthy !
there is a recent study done by Chinese scientists, and not peer reviewed, concluding that a 16 hour fast can lead to cardiovascular problems. Google it
Since i started to follow Jessie and her hacks , now i feel more better with my body . I always if i want a snack i take it after a meal not on empty stomach. I don't crave sugar at all . Plus , i started using Vinegar hacks since months ago and now i feel waaaaay better. THANKS GOD I'M NOT A HUGE FAN OF SUGARS , BUT I DO SOMETIMES WITH USING JESSIE's Hacks.

I have acquired a taste for 100% chocolate, absolutely love it. For me, it’s not sugar, it is the texture and the depth of flavour. I gave up alcohol 5 years ago, don’t miss it. Love savoury breakfasts, I even eat my steel cut oats without sugar, sometimes I add some blueberries or a kiwi. When I have a craving, I think about my health goals and is what I am about to eat, getting me to where I want to be and how I want to feel.
Yes! It is a got to have, isn't it? I have been perfecting My coconut cream milk 100% cocoa powder "Quatzalzuma HOT CHOCOLATE" with a dash of calcium carbonate, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. The bomb! And affordable compared to eating 90-100% Cacao bars. It's a must have after my last meal of the day. Hint: Use a frother! I will admit it took me a while to get used to truly sugarless chocolate consumption, but damn that is satisfyingly tasty for zero sugar. Watch your provider for heavy metal concentrations.
@@Leo-mr1qz thank you for your comment. My CGM says otherwise, I don't get a spike, at all. You don't know all of the ingredients I put in with my steel-cut oats and I have them on my weightlifting days. i know what is best for my body.
I am pre diabetic and I want to thank you for the hacks. I have lost 7K just eating my veggies first. I no longer have those sugar crashes and i am less hungry! you are the best.I eat more broccoli and egg whites. A few times a light salad with cucumbers, nuts and black olives with olive oil. 🫒 I feel satisfied and still able to have toast with butter 🧈 yummy
I hate the pre diabetic label. I see diabetes as a ladder, with each rung being a different level of glucose issue. Therefore your either diabetic or not. I see pre diabetic as the lowest rung of being diabetic.
Each person needs to figure out what's best for you. You'll figure it out by trying. I don't do these hacks but the things I do work so well for me. I'm not a chocolate lover but I like ice cream. My sugar doesn't ever spike because what she says is very true. Only after noon or after a meal Just a little bit is plenty. Control your mind it gives great rewards 😊
I want to honestly thank you so much. Even after a few days on your food hacks I feel like a completely different person. It's inspiring me to keep going and get even healthier. It has been a true blessing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. -C

As someone recovering from anorexia and learning more about the energy the food gives us, this helped me so much. I understand better and i dont feel guilty anymore by eating a piece of chocolate after my meal💗Thank you
Love your hacks!!! I've been trying to avoid sugar (milktea) the whole time. But couldnt make it. So as a routine, every morning I had a cup of milktea & skip lunch... #review after 1 week I started to try your method and now, I feel my body is really flexible, energetic through out the day without any sugary drinks. ...i will come back, edit & review after 1 month Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks Jessie. I had been doing alternate day fasting for health reasons (it helped!) and a side effect was losing a LOT of inches around my middle. Now, six months later I have maintained that after learning how to calibrate using your tips, consistent exercise, lowering cortisol and various supplements that have been very helpful with cravings. I would SO love it if you jumped down the weight loss ideas rabbit hole as I'd like to lose more of the fat around my middle without going strict no carb. I'm definitely in the strict keto to very low carb range. It'd be great to have more. ideas.
@@simongarner5340 Interesting! You might consider doing more research. I'd start with Dr. Ben Bikman (at Insulin IQ) or Dr. Jason Fung. It's much more nuanced and much less simplistic than you think.
I love a variety of loose leaf teas and you mentioned your Anti-Spike formula contains lemon peel extract and antioxidants as two of the ingredients. Could I say, drink a cup of green tea (no sugar) with lemon juice before a meal to reduce glucose spike?
I love that you are so much clear about the alcohol. I have told my friends regarding that any amount of alcohol is poisonous to our body but i don't know who told them that small amount of alcohol having health benefits 😂. I will share your video to them now they can listen from the expert itself. 😊😅
She is right, all this diet stuff helps, I am a big believer in everything she says, but like I keep sayin' to these young 'uns with their advice for everybody, if your damaged or older already, like almost anyone who watches this, these things don't quite work as well as she thinks. The dietary rules for each of us change greatly depending on the individual phase you are in, particularly if your older, injured, diseased, or overweight (hint: that's almost all older people). In the end, no diet really matters, its moving that matters. All the time, until you die. Just like you were designed to do. This is something that is hard to do after injury, which will happen to all of us repeatedly. Managing injury and exercise matters much more than any of this.
You believe in everything she says? So the more blood sugar spikes we have the faster we age and die? Calories don't matter? People should be taking her expensive supplements to blunt blood sugar even though there is no proof that they work? "No diet matters"? What if you consumed 1,000 calories over your required amount per day and became morbidly obese?
*I had very high blood sugar I only managed to improve my health when I found a WONDERFUL treatment,❤❤ if you want to know about it, I left the video in the comment reply*
My sweet desert is some strawberries and blueberries in my salad. Each berry is so sweet! Best part is, it doesn't noticeably spike my blood sugars. After a meal of Meat and berry salad I am BG 120 or less on my meter. my A1C was 4.9.
You wear wonderfully curious & zany attire, but make it look real good. And I dig those boots! BTW, I'm changing my morning diet because of your sage advice. Thanx!
I love the way she dresses for some reason. Besides being gorgeous she has an excellent knowledge on the diabetes stuff. I use many of her ideas. It's working.
You are my sweet angel. Today, I carved for biriani (a type of spicy rice), and I followed your instructions. 1st, I ate salads, then protein, then sprinkled apple cider venigar on biriani and ate it, then went out for a walk , I checked my CGM, and I was shocked to notice there were no any spike of glucose. Thank you, my 🧡.
I make a cup of zero sugar hot chocolate with extra creamy coconut almond milk …and I add a small amount of dark cocoa powder …satisfies me in the evening
I totally agree. Don't feel guilty, don't feel bad, just be aware and accept. Accept that you are not perfect, that you have many flaws, that you fail every day in something. If you eat chocolate, it has its side effects. This means it will affect your health, your energy levels, etc. Accept that. But there is no need to feel bad in your mind on top of that. You are always doing your best for yourself. Nobody actually harms themselves on purpose but instead makes compromises. Try to improve your life, your health, your habits. Accept it when you fail, don't make a big issue out of it, learn from it, and continue trying.
Great video . Really enjoy the way that you break up the information and give it to us in steps. This way there is no feeling of information overload 😊 thank you 😊
@@andreaandrea6716 I'll explain a little, in the beginning God created the heaven and earth. Earth was a platform before it was called land and light was electrons before there was a sun. The firmament separates the waters that were already created by that same God and gathered the water underneath what He called seas. There was a great flood that destroyed the trees we call mountains, along with the nephilim and genetic experiments, along with all the evil bastards that decided to mix with evil. Afterward, there was an ice age, but there is still the great deep underneath the seas. Our world is level and enclosed, created by the God of Israel. We did not evolve from beast, for it says the fowl and the fish came from the waters, everything else terrestrial came from the land. It is quantum they call it. Your blood is blue and red, combined and you get royalty. All our skin is green when exposed to brass, regardless of tone. It started the way the Word said and ends the way it says it shall

Totally agree that wen we feed ourselves must be from pleasure and love. And also using this great hacks to give our bodies even more love!! Thanks glucose godess. Is vital to build a good relationshinp with food and also with our bodies
Thank you Jessie! I personally liked hearing that alcohol is poison, because i am not alcohol fan. And I feel strongly about the social pressure one experiences as a no alcohol drinker. My pleasure decision would also be either good quality chocolate or a piece of cake.
Hot chocolate of good quality chocolate or cocoa is a good one against cravings and you can even eat some chocolate with and do not need to get cravings if you leave it at a few pieces.
Yes, and finally somebody who says it is ok to eat some sugar and particularly after a meal. That is just what I tend to do. Some chocolate an hour or so after a meal and it works fine for me no sugar spike. You can also add some raw chocolate milk, from good cocoa that reduces alot of the sugarspike.
Who said you couldn't eat sugar? You need to find some better influencers to follow. I suggest getting nutrition advice from a qualified person like a dietician or nutritionist.
I never drank alcohol in my life. When I tell people this they all look suprised and think I’m weird of something. I’m glad that in the current society it becomes more acceptable to not drink alocohol.
Awesome advice! and love the hacks they're doable I don't have to struggle so much mentally and physically on eating sweets especially chocolates and little bit of rice. Thank you so much:)
I just finished using a CGM over a few weeks and I found out some great information on my situation. I don't have morning glucose spike, and it appears the hacks I use along with a low carb no sugar diet keeps my glucose spiking after a meal no higher than around 150. I stopped using the CGM as I have enough diet, and other information to change my lifestyle to deal with my light insulin resistance.
I eat a lot of homemade chocolate made with coconut oil cocoa powder and stevia sweetener just mixed in a bowl popped in to the deep freeze taken out and broken to little chunks then put in a dish in the fridge and just eat when I feel the need for something sugary without that I do not think I could carry on with the keto diet.

Thank you for this info, you gave me some new ideas and validated some of the things I'm already doing. Beginning of this year I went to a whole foods diet, which has steadily leaned more and more towards carnivore. My two hard and fast rules were, no processed foods of any kind, and no sugar. Well, almost no sugar, I still have a cup of coffee at breakfast but I have weaned myself down to a minimal amount of sugar from the quite excessive amount I used to put in it. My only real hack was making sure I at a full meal, all savory stuff of course, and then had the coffee. Recently I started doing my daily exercise right after breakfast. My thinking was if the sugar in the coffee caused a glucose spike I could mitigate it by burning as much energy as possible while that was happening. Didn't really know if that worked or not, so it's great to hear I was on the right track. My daily sugar intake is about a teaspoon, so I imagine I'm not causing much of a spike with that anyway, but I'm trying to work towards an ideal diet that I can stick with long term. I had a serious sweet tooth and ate a LOT of sugary, processed garbage. In the last 6 months I've lost 30 pounds (I wasn't really overweight to start with), and dropped 6 inches off my waist. I weigh the same now at 51 as I did in college. I really would like to incorporate the occasional dessert, but I don't want to undo all the progress I've made. I will definitely be trying your hacks, and my guilty pleasure of choice will also probably be chocolate. Thanks so much.
I gave up honey because I am trying to get my glucose under control; but the ramifications were that my allergies came on 5 fold!!! Not going back, taking bee pollen capsules in hopes this will replace what I need to keep the allergies at bay, however it’s going to take months! I took 1-2 T of honey everyday for 5 years and it did work! I have been following Jess’ advice and the numbers are starting to come down, and I’ve lost 8lbs. Really glad I found this😊
One thing that should be mentioned here is dopamine resistance. We should be aware that getting dopamine too often is not good (which actually applies to anything). If you get dopamine frequently (through sex, sugary food, etc.), your body will develop high dopamine resistance. This means that you will need a lot of dopamine to feel happiness, and with a normal dopamine level, where you would normally just feel fine, you will feel very unhappy instead. Therefore, it's important to maintain a balance and occasionally engage in dopamine withdrawal to reset your dopamine resistance. This might be challenging for some people who are very dopamine resistant, as it could mean enduring unhappiness for a period of time until it's in balance again. Just be aware of that when consuming chocolate or other sweet stuff to raise your dopamine level. Don't overdo it.
Evidently when people want to keep eating something after a meal is a lack of potassium, that issue would be solved with potassium citrate powder before meals or eating enough green vegetables like you've said on other videos! The other problem that you're not taking in count is that having refined sugar or fruit after meals is that sugar will ferment which is not not good at all for digestion and really good for candida albicans to help it grow. So just consume potassium before meals is a great solution for not eating more than needed. Maybe consciously having a dessert every now and then wouldn't be that bad.
You are absolutely amazing! I can't stop listening! I am a healthy, active 63 year old man and I love to eat. I believe I can apply your hacks pretty easily. It all makes such great sense. One thing I hope you can help me with...For many years I've had a late night snack (around 9:00pm). Two slices of toast with butter, an orange, a bunch of pistachios nuts and some almond milk. Talk about dopamine!!! I enjoy it so much. I know it's an insane glucose spike, but is there any way I can continue that and minimize the impact (other than the vinegar thing)? Or should I just stop? Thanks for your channel.
What i want to know is about drinks? Is pop ok? should i only drink tea and water? How do drinks affect sugar spikes? Will the hacks work if i have a sugary drink?
Thanks again, yes, I also love chocolate - and good sleep, the best possible. But because chocolate contains caffeine, and caffeine impacts sleep quality, what works for me is that I limit my after-dinner chocolate quota to a (healthy) few pieces, and as I have my dinner early enough my body can deal with the caffeine. Quality of chocolate is another topic...I prefer Peruvian organic chocolate 😋- the best taste sensation!
I like the hacks. Bought the book. But I would like to remind everyone that just because you can control a spike, if you're eating food with lots of sugar, you're STILL eating lots of sugar regardless of the spike.
Anecdotally, my life felt consistently more at peace 8 months with no carbs and sugar; when compared to now bringing sugar back into my life. The cravings of wild berries or dark chocolate make me want more and has kept me up at night, causes me stress I know I don’t need to deal with. I’m working to completely cut them out again but it’s been more difficult than my first time cutting them out.
I don't eat chocolate but I love drinking cold chocolate with lactose free milk, and a mix of chocolate powder and cocoa powder. Is it the same than eating chocolate, better or worse?
I have one thing to say. I really like your present hair color and think it suits you perfectly. In the past I notice you were using blonde coloring and I think it presents your facial features as more harsh or made you look older. I get that the hacks save you from spikes even when you eat sugar. But is it still OK from a feeding cancer perspective? If sugar feeds cancer cells is that not a reason to still avoid it? Or do the hacks prevent all sugar damage?
I suggest you check out Dr Layne Norton's video titled "Darth Hyman Claims Sugar Causes 70% of Disease" video on You Tube. He actually has proper nutrition credentials (PhD in Nutritional Sciences). He explains the role of sugar in cancer.

This lady they call Jessie is super sexy. She glides when she walks and so does the info she provides. It works. I follow hacks. I test my glucose via glucose meter before and after a big meal / with fruit and they did not spike. You have to watch though food combing. If you eat your fiber first and at the end of meal have some chocolate then all the fiber and the protein will sustain that chocolate for a longer period of time. In other words you will have increased sugar in your system for a longer period so glucose will not come down quick. mine generall came down to normal 5 within 3 hours. THIS WORKS PEOPLE!!!! - Thanks Jessie for EXISTING sharing is caring!!

Hello doctor, . I have some questions I want to ask you, even though my questions seem naive and I don’t know if these questions are your specialty or not.. I have a question: Why is heart disease or death due to cardiac arrest found at a high rate in people of German or African origin, as well as disabilities from birth.Even vitiligo occurs more frequently in people of German originI do not mean the Germans only, the German people, but I use this term in general. I mean the Germanic tribes that include the Russians, Ukarnin, Belarusians, and other northern tribes. There is a programming for each body according to its type and origin. If a defect occurs in these bodies that are similar in origin, the diseases will be similar. Although what I said is long, I ask you, if you do not know what I mean, to ask me.
Are those molecules testen? Clinical trials during how many years? At top universities? Or just the firm which produces the pill? What with people who have epilepsy or take cancer medications? Is this surveyed too? Which are the extra aromas in the molecules? Are they damgerous for some people?
Hello 👋 Glucose lady!!! I’m very impressed with your level of knowledge and your ability to explain how things work in the body. I’m sure the big companies are not happy with you alerting and teaching people. I tip my hat 🧢 to you for your courage, by the way what do you think about 90% chocolate? Can we eat it everyday? Health wise speaking 😃😃😃
I've gone back to keto most of the days of the week but on Sunday mornings before church service in their cafe they bring in the most amazing doughnuts in town from a shop that does ONLY doughnuts so they are superior to the grocery store. I enjoy every single bite of that chewy soft deliciousness. (Keto doughnuts are too dense!) Doughnuts are my Achilles but they are terrible for us. Luckily for me I have very high standards for them. I dislike Krispy Kreme (overrrated!) and if they are stale I reject them. I figure that weekly pleasure is fine against the weeks hard work. I might also do the vinegar to eat a bit of rice/potato on the weekend but one needs to be careful. Can't do high fat AND high sugar without consequence. Thanks for your hard work Jessie!
Yes, I agree, high fat and high sugar together is far worse than either/or. I try to go for one or the other but not both. So, if I am eating carbs, I go low saturated fat; and if I am eating fat, I avoid eating processed carbs. If you are overweight, Ice cream is metabolically worse for you then candy corn. Coming off of keto/low carb it can be very challenging for many folks to switch to a lower fat diet, which can mess up a lot of folks. I still find that for me the high fat diet done correctly brings off significantly more weight than a classic med diet. With a med diet those evil carbs just slowly sneak into your waistline too easily, particularly if you're already damaged/older/not active enough.
@@realrosesforever3847 Yep which is why only once a week and no other day and only ONE. I'm glad substitutes exist but they are not quite the same so I'd rather have one very good doughnut once a week than a keto one every day. Makes me enjoy it more. :) It's also not the first thing I eat on an empty stomach.

Nonsense. Our body routinely makes a moderate amount of ethanol with every meal. Moderation is a simple concept.

If you add a bit of Greek yogurt or whole milk skyr to the donut, it will give you less of a spike. That's what "putting clothes on your carbs" means.
Unfortunately Steel Cut Oats are poison to the Human Metabolism.
Actually, ANY Oats.
Oats for breakfast is a HUGE glucose spiking choice. You want protein, such as eggs, to start off your day, not a bowl of carbs!
@@Leo-mr1qz thank you for your comment. My CGM says otherwise, I don't get a spike, at all. You don't know all of the ingredients I put in with my steel-cut oats and I have them on my weightlifting days. i know what is best for my body.

Yes! I have thought the same thing! We women struggle once peri/menopause shows up! But the hacks are still helpful for controlling glucose!
In the end, no diet really matters? Absolute nonsense, certainly following her advice will not get you very far if you actually have problems.
@@damiendegrasse No it won't. If you have health problems then you need personalised advice not blanket statements from a biochemist.

My sweet desert is some strawberries and blueberries in my salad. Each berry is so sweet! Best part is, it doesn't noticeably spike my blood sugars. After a meal of Meat and berry salad I am BG 120 or less on my meter. my A1C was 4.9.
The hack, eating vegetables first, protein second, and carb last, is very effective for me. I don’t get hungry for 5 hours instead of just 3 hours

You are my sweet angel.

Thank you Jessie! I personally liked hearing that alcohol is poison, because i am not alcohol fan. And I feel strongly about the social pressure one experiences as a no alcohol drinker.
My pleasure decision would also be either good quality chocolate or a piece of cake.
Yep, alcohol is poison!!! There are dark chocolate with very low sugar, 90% dark chocolate 😋😋😋, I make hot chocolate with it! 😋😋😋

Style choices make the material more interesting and inspiring. Makes me think twice before consuming food. Eggs in the morning.
Really glad I found this😊
Why don’t you just follow her advise and have your honey right after lunch or supper?
Bee pollen got rid of my allergies. Good luck.
You are really a wonderful lady. Thanks for sharing your knowledge

Yes, I did like you said. It’s works, it’s help less cravings for more sugar too.👍
What i want to know is about drinks? Is pop ok? should i only drink tea and water? How do drinks affect sugar spikes? Will the hacks work if i have a sugary drink?
What do you think about brunches?
And what is the normal portion of a meal?
Yep! Calories still matter!

I get that the hacks save you from spikes even when you eat sugar. But is it still OK from a feeding cancer perspective? If sugar feeds cancer cells is that not a reason to still avoid it? Or do the hacks prevent all sugar damage?

But, isn't a doughnut high in sugar and fat?
@@realrosesforever3847 Yep which is why only once a week and no other day and only ONE. I'm glad substitutes exist but they are not quite the same so I'd rather have one very good doughnut once a week than a keto one every day. Makes me enjoy it more. :) It's also not the first thing I eat on an empty stomach.
So incredibly helpful
