I have been following your hacks for 1 month now, I have dropped 5kg and my skin has never been clearer, i was stressed from work and gained 13kg in 2 months, ive had the worst acne ever, big inflamed deep pimples. I tried so hard to lose the weight and be more healthy but it was so hard. I take 1-2 tbsp of ACV before every meal and I realised I don't get hungry until 5-6hrs later, i always struggled with sugar and carb cravings but now they are completely gone. walking 30min-1hr also helps me burn more calories I think. But one thing I'm really surprise is that I have so much energy! I was always so sluggish and tired but having so much energy now makes me want to move/exercise. My focus as work is also the best its been.

@@Anna12127 I just follow her hacks. Mainly drink acv before meals, eat veggies and protein first then carbs and going for a walk after carb rich meals. Before I was on a restrictive diet, counting calories, intense exercise and so obsessed with food from cravings that i would lose 2kg in a month but then gain back more. Now I just follow the hacks and eat whatever i want whenever i want, no restrictions. I think what's really helping is that it makes you feel full for hrs so you eat less, I don't constantly think about food anymore, I don't have those really bad cravings. I also have more energy, I'm more motivated to workout and feel good from that workout.

    Tips to Control Glucose Spikes:
    1. Veggie Starter: Eat vegetables or fiber first, then protein, fat, and lastly carbs.
    2. Vinegar: Have 1-2 teaspoons of vinegar in a glass of water before meals.
    3. Savory Breakfast: Choose a savory, protein-rich breakfast over sugary options.
    4. Movement: Do light exercise after eating.

But not good to eat carbs at the same time as meats etc. Only greens, and lots of thrm...raw leafy greens...veggies are o.k.too,but not STARCHY ONES with meat/ proteins! And the dressing should be "food combining" acceptable.) Also vinegar is not the best ( I do use apple cider in a morning water mixture for health/fat loss,) for "O" blood types, because they have the strongest stomach acids for digesting food, already! Therefore...too much acidity in the system can CAUSE issues,as we may already know! Using apple cider vinegar and I have Savory breakfasts. I grew up on sweet breakfast and so did my parents. When I was growing up my parents ate sweet breakfast. But you look at a DITL videos of ppl in Japan they eat like supper for breakfast lunch and dinner almost no difference in meals. We have been brainwashed to eat dessert 24/7. And it is hard getting out of that mindset but benefits to health are amazing.

Your professor will have limited lectures to area's of scientific consensus, this young lady has a tendancy to point to lots of papers, but whose content is often little better then anecdotal. Being careful about what you eat and limiting processed sugar in your diet has broad scientific backing, as for the rest take with a pinch of salt, this young lady IS here to try and sell you things.

The reason for this is because you were most likely eating large amounts of unhealthy sugars. Those are the type of sugars your acne causing bacteria loved to eat, once you eliminated them they no longer had their favorite foods to thrive off of, so it has subsided for the time being. Her explanation for acne is simply that inflammation causes it, but that does not explain why some people can eat unhealthy sugars all day long and still not develop acne.
The most popular counter point would be some people have acne prone skin or bad genetics, but how can genetics in some people turn inflammation into an infection? Yes acne is bacterial related, why do you think doctors prescribe antibiotics as a first line of treatment to acne patients? Well it just has to be hormone related then. But how can a mixture of hormones in your body create a bacterial infection? This is the type of information that leads people walking around in circles without answers to their skin problems for years, like myself. The other reason your acne has subsided is because you most likely have a relatively high intake of fats whether from meat, dairy, eggs, nuts, etc. Once you eliminated the sugars your body no longer had to deal with pumping out as much insulin, struggling to work with all of the fat in your bloodstream to get glucose into your cells which took a load off your pancreas and liver so it could start supporting your lymphatic and immune system better to help fend off the bacteria causing your acne.
What you are doing is one way to help in the short term but you should definitely be cautious about low carb high-fat/protein diets long term. There's a reason keto endorsers take breaks and get off of it every now and then. Not telling anyone what to do here but I hope I can get some people to do their research. With low fat + healthy carbs/sugars I have healed my cystic acne, chronic allergies, improved my vision, and removed my brain fog (who would have thought sugar helps you think better when sugar is proclaimed by science as the sole fuel of the brain)

It's been healing since I stopped washing my face with water straight from the tap (it's very hard where I live). I now filter and boil it. Also, please look at the products you put on your skin. It’s not due to inflammation. I have CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) and my skin is clear. I had excess oil (sebum) causing blackheads on my nose with refined sugar/insulin resistance.
“A relationship between acne and insulin resistance exists; hence, it is found that hyperglycemic carbohydrates and insulinotropic milk and dairy products are associated with diabetes and may promote acne pathogenesis by encouraging insulin growth factor-1 (IGF-1) signaling, which may support the link between milk products and acne [3]. Furthermore, insulin promotes androgen synthesis, resulting in excessive sebum production, a known correlate of acne severity [4]. It has also been demonstrated that a low-glycemic index diet improves acne severity as well as insulin sensitivity in young males with acne vulgaris. As a result, insulin and carbohydrate metabolism may play a role in the cause and severity of acne [5].” - Cureus Journal - The Relationship Between Acne Vulgaris and Insulin Resistance

I dug up a good one, but need a star to push it to the masses.
The gist is fermented potato bread using acetic acid bacteria in ACV.
The video showed using salt, but I doubt needed.
Seems to be a food in india, but not in west.
The bacteria create exopolysaccharides from the starch turning it healthy and low glycemic
I think it's a relatively quick ferment too - up to 36 hours at most I believe.
I think you'd just boil the potatoes, mash them, and put enough ACV to make a dough consistency and let ferment at room temp, stirring occasionally (cheesecloth on top) - then bake it, oc.

    Dear Jessie,
I frequently hear you recommend eating food in a specific order: vegetables first, followed by protein, then carbs, and finally sweets. However, in practice, it can be challenging. For instance, if I have a meal consisting of white rice and chicken, I usually eat them together. How can I follow your suggested order without leaving the plain white rice until the end and eating it by itself? Could you please provide some guidance on this?
    Thank you.

Are there studies suggesting that regular high glucose spikes in healthy people contribute to insulin resistance? Is there a concensus on this among practitioners? My father is diabetic and his doctors suggest reducing the number of glucose spikes a day will help keep me away from diabetes. However, many doctors and nutritionists on UA-cam seem to disagree with this, saying I should continue to consume grains and fruit, irrespective of the glucose spike because there’s no evidence that insulin spikes lead to resistance.

Hi... Can you make a video on people having Sugar + Thyroid + Blood pressure all three combined... How should they eat and when should they eat? Medication doesn't always help...and those who are above 60 years of age its difficult for them to adapt a new exercise routine or even a new diet.
(Considering all 3 are on the higher side i.e High Sugar + High Thyroid levels + High BP...)
I have recently learned that there is a connection between Sugar levels and Thyroid.

I would like clarification on the timing of the hacks please. What time period does the veggie starter cover, (before eating the protein and fats, and then carbs?) We are often eating lunches or dinners on 15 minute breaks. I could drink the vinegar at my desk before going on break but how many minutes before eating should the vinegar be? Or I could nibble carrot slices at my desk before going to eat my protein meal. Should the carrots be 15 minutes or how long before the meal? Thank you for suggestions on how to time the hacks for USA work reality.

You don't have to avoid all your sweet snacks, eat your meals as Jessie recommands in the right order (download the 10 Hacks for free in the discription of this video) and have your sweet snacks at the end of your meals as a dessert but never on an empty stomach or in between of the meals.

It’s not the inflammation. I have CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) and no acne, pimples etc. When I ate a high refined sugar diet (caused insulin resistance) I had blackheads on my nose. The insulin increases sebum (oil) production.
