Financial abuse is a real thing. Be careful if your narcissistic parents in their elderly age offer to help you when you don't ask for it. You will become dependent on that money and then they will find a way to make it look like it was your idea probably. They will also find ways or excuses to yank that money when you need it on certain weeks

That's exactly what happened in my most recent relationship. Once I started to mirror her silent treatment it triggered her to initiate a discard almost immediately. She still wanted to keep me and was using the discard as a hoover but I called her bluff and accepted the discard and walked away. I forced her to accept her discard and move on with her downgrade.

I went " minimal contact " (because " no contact " isn't possible in my situation), really for no other reason other than that I really just needed some PEACE and I noticed that the less I said/interacted, the more peace I had. When I did this, though, I (recently) got accused of " passive aggressive BS " (his words in the quotation marks).
Narcissists also have a tendency to project their fear and paranoia onto you. I found this to be the case with my father, who professes to be a Christian and wears it on his sleeve but is always afraid that something bad will happen to me or my half-siblings. They try to sow seeds of self-doubt.

My mother passed away in August and he made the last year of her life horrible! He Treated our seventy eight year old mother like a dog! Bullying her, saying he didn’t want a relationship with her unless she made every decision he wanted her to! He even made her funeral about him, because he has to be the center of attention at all times! He’s a total control freak! I literally had to be restrained from punching him in the face, because my husband and I had been taking care of her for the last five years, with no help from him whatsoever! I'm sorry your mother's last days were horrible. My sister treats my mom horribly as well and just takes takes takes, then when she swings back into the temporary sweet suck-up mode my mom falls for it again and will defend her if anyone says anything about my sister. This last blow-up really hurt my mom, my sister called her a 'c' and told her she disgusted her and kicked her out of her house, among other things, all in front of her children as well...and I don't think they've spoken now for over two months. My sister also believes she's the most saintly Christian, which is absolutely hilarious to me. Hopefully my mom has learned that it's never going to change. Of course as the parent you carry the guilt of why and how your child ended up this way, which I totally understand but toxic is toxic and abuse is abuse. They are literally "bad seeds".......it has little to do with how they were raised. Just like Cain was a "bad seed" because his father was the serpent. My brother is like this but abused his kids allowing them to be disrespectful to others and by letting them do this it actually but too much strain on the rest of my immediate family it actually split us up by manipulating other family members to takes sides. My wife exhibited the cowardice and bullying you reference. It can be exhausting dealing with these personalities and their flying monkeys. The struggle is real. I went " minimal contact " (because " no contact " isn't possible in my situation), really for no other reason other than that I really just needed some PEACE and I noticed that the less I said/interacted, the more peace I had.
When I did this, though, I (recently) got accused
of " passive aggressive BS " (his words in the quotation marks).
Narcissists also have a tendency to project their fear and paranoia onto you. I found this to be the case with my father, who professes to be a Christian and wears it on his sleeve but is always afraid that something bad will happen to me or my half-siblings. They try to sow seeds of self-doubt.
Tell them to get behind thee Satan!! Satan uses people close to you to try to prevent what God has called you to do. Peter was used to try to prevent Jesus from going to the cross and that’s because Satan knew that his destruction was at that cross. Don’t doubt have faith and be encouraged and believe in Jesus alone and these people will not phase you love! Speaking from experience.

My mother passed away in August and he made the last year of her life horrible! He Treated our seventy eight year old mother like a dog! Bullying her, saying he didn’t want a relationship with her unless she made every decision he wanted her to! He even made her funeral about him, because he has to be the center of attention at all times! He’s a total control freak! I literally had to be restrained from punching him in the face, because my husband and I had been taking care of her for the last five years, with no help from him whatsoever! I'm sorry your mother's last days were horrible. My sister treats my mom horribly as well and just takes takes takes, then when she swings back into the temporary sweet suck-up mode my mom falls for it again and will defend her if anyone says anything about my sister. This last blow-up really hurt my mom, my sister called her a 'c' and told her she disgusted her and kicked her out of her house, among other things, all in front of her children as well...and I don't think they've spoken now for over two months. My sister also believes she's the most saintly Christian, which is absolutely hilarious to me. Hopefully my mom has learned that it's never going to change. Of course as the parent you carry the guilt of why and how your child ended up this way, which I totally understand but toxic is toxic and abuse is abuse. I'm sorry you lost your mom but at least she's at rest now.💖 God bless.

They are literally "bad seeds".......it has little to do with how they were raised. Just like Cain was a "bad seed" because his father was the serpent. That seedline is spread all throughout mankind now. That's why some are narcissists/sociopaths/psychopaths and others are empathic human beings, even in the same families. That is also why long ago people got blood tests before marriage to check for compatibility. These things are kept hidden from us because psychopaths are in control of our entire system now. They want to outbreed us (empaths/seedline of Adam/Seth) and eliminate us entirely. That's also what the "rhogam" shot is really all about. At 6 a.m. today jumping stomping banging the walls and floor...their kids i feel are possibly forced to act up as I never hear laughing, I didn't even hear her remote learning cuz the constant running, ball bouncing,yelling. etc etc. etc... thanks for this Jill. The lady does make me uncomfortable with her being on floor above...she has thrown dangerous items over the side of balcony and landing right infront my door and patio. That description of narcissists was perfection! I hope you're right about their days being numbered. It is good that people are educating themselves and becoming more aware of what these toxic individuals are all about. They may call themselves your family or friend but that is the furthest thing from the truth. So live in the REAL truth no matter how difficult that might be. Things will eventually turn around and Karma will visit the narcissist one day. All of the bad stuff that they threw your way will come back to them. It most likely won't come from you but from another narcissist.

you tell them!!! since youth i was a victim of two cowardly narcists. one said laughing that during my youth she was planning how to get me upset every day and she was looking in computers of her family member to look if she could find dirt about me. and this was supposely a friend. The other one tried to put me behind bars because i ignored her. and she had flying monkeys. and now i am an adult i don't put up with their crap. and i let them no that times have changed. I also told them there are cowards and i won't step a side a bit. and if they ever tried something that they would get a clap back. That i wasn't afraid of them. i got an restraining order for one of them and ever since that they don't bother me anymore. But it took me years to figure out that those two where narcists. and they both where suprised that i stood up to them. They didn't see it coming

There are a lot of these people around. My brother in law, sister in law, husband’s aunt and my mom’s aunt and 2 cousins. The hardest part..trying to warn others and they don’t believe it. 🤦♀️
My brother is like this but abused his kids allowing them to be disrespectful to others and by letting them do this it actually but too much strain on the rest of my immediate family it actually split us up by manipulating other family members to takes sides. As of today he lost it all as that he does not see his kids much and he probably wanted it that way. He is a true coward.
