Hmm a lot to cover but here's a few pointers: - Use an armour with reduced enemy detection range - Pick a night mission and/or a map with lowered visibility due to rain, fog etc. - When you're stealthing around enemies, maintain low profile i.e. crouching or crawling. Be very wary of standing up, sometime you can accidentally drop from a small rock which forces you into stand, that little movement can blow your cover, like at 14:22. - Don't panic and immediately go loud when you hear the enemy react to your presence - when you see bots light up red or hunters splay their wings, that can just mean that they're suspicious or heard something, it doesn't mean you've been made. Maintain low profile and move to cover / away as smooth as you can. - You can take out small patrols, but make sure you can kill any potential alerters in a few seconds. Prioritise the guys who can actually sound an alarm, the bigger guys might be dangerous but at least they can't call for help. - Before you initiate an engagement, always plan an exit strategy, especially if you know it's going to get loud - know which direction you're going to run if things go south. - Keep an eye on your radar - unless you're doing a mission with the obscured radar modifier, it will show you all the enemy units around you. If you see patrols approaching that are too big to take out quickly, find somewhere to hide. - Even if your cover is blown, don't panic. Get out of the area, preferably retreating to an area you've already cleared or know is quiet. Outpace all the slow enemies, take out any that have kept up, break line of sight and they will disengage. Come back when it's quiet. - Be wary of calling supply drops near to enemies as they will draw enemies to investigate - alternatively use this to pull enemies away from their posts.

The guard dog rover makes it ten times easier to take out patrols and smaller nests without triggering annoying ass bug breaches. Takes some practice to get consistent at, but worth it. I wish the breach calls took a little longer. I’ve only ever stopped one, and it wasn’t intentional. With the bots you can actually react to the flares before they’re fired, but with the bugs they just decide that you need to deal with more enemies now and, unless you have godlike reflexes and aim, you’re not interrupting it. I also had an idea for a strategem which would basically be reskinned poison gas but instead of dealing damage it prevents enemy communication (so if one finds you it can’t tell the rest) and blocks backup calls. Idk just a thought.
Yeah it's really annoying isn't it. Sometimes the orange smoke hasn't even finished spewing and the bugs are already crawling out from the ground like wtf 😂
Definitely a lot more targets to take down to stop a bug breach. Think I might try bringing a cluster strike next time, bit more spammable and with the armour pen to take down hiveguards and brood commander too. I've had a headless brood commander alert btw, lol. EMS strike might do what you're thinking of actually, I believe the stun not only stops them from moving but alerting too.
@@newspiked7385 Yeah, but EMS slows me down too, and because of the halting factor it’s typically better to use when you’re already in a fight and need some space rather than prepping for an ambush. I guess to balance it with EMS you could make the effect last longer or have a bigger radius idk.

When the shell is slightly behind you, and you press to grab the shell, it accelerates into your hands. If you press to drop the shell while it's accelerating i.e. before it reaches your hands, it will keep that momentum and end up being thrown forwards
'You made it look easy' is an understatement. I play solo 4 difficulty and seem to be covered in bugs 24/7 even with avoiding the fights I don't have to go through lol
I like how literally everyone is complaining about having no way to deal with chargers anymore after the railgun nerf, and then you do a solo helldive in which you completely disintegrate multiple chargers in 3.2 seconds flat with the autocannon
Because it takes skill. The most vocal whiners are the people who can’t do the week 1 cheeses anymore and think the game is ruined because they actually have to learn how to use different guns and not the one 400 streamers said was the meta.
Great run! Autocannon is my favourite support weapon. I always use it on robot missions. But I will probably never be able to be as good with it as you are so I can run solo helldive difficulty with it. I mean you quickly killed a charger with it. You finished off a bile titan after a rail cannon strike with it. A lot of skill is shown here 👍
Thanks for trying out the autocannon and fulfilling my request for a terminid run! Glad to see we see the same issues and benefits from the autocannon. Surprised though, no rocket pods this time around?
Thanks for the suggestion! It's a lot of people's favourite and I can see why. And yeah, no rocket pods as they don't lock onto the bug nests, and while they can take out chargers, it tends to miss when they're, well, charging. For bugs I prefer the reliability of the railcannon strike, and the 500kg for titans and any research station objectives.
I wouldn't call myself an autocannon expert, but here's a few basic tips: If possible, reload before you're completely empty - the reload is much faster with one round still chambered. For chargers, either a couple of shots to the back legs or a few shots to the ass will kill them quick, so get used to matadoring. For bile spewers, go ham on their ass again, the explosive dmg hits them harder. For Titans, you can blow the sacks easily but to actually kill I've only found it reliable at finishing off a Titan that's already had its armour exposed with a stratagem. Shouldn't be an issue if you always bring 1 or 2 strats that can strip it, like the railcannon strike, eagle pods, or just 500 kg.
I can’t believe I sat here and watched a video as long as half a movie. Pretty awesome moves though. Tagged the hellbombs and dragging the Bile Titans over. 3 times.
Thanks for watching, and glad it didn't get boring! Yeah, never seen so many hellbombs in good positions, I wonder if it being a desert just makes them easier to spot
I’m the auto cannon snob on the team and love providing the rear support, this vid just solidifies what my friends were arguing about when they tried getting me to switch off it to something else
just started this game, that was really great use of kiting. I havnt thought of kiting them yet like that. It makes sense though, since we are just avoiding them until they are all dead. Great stuff! Nice work. Solo play looks fun. In a group the supply's are lame if you wander away from the group, have to run to outposts and hope there is ammo.
Well played, very impressive! Shows that the autocannon is BiS imo, using the same setup rn. Railgun post-nerf seems unplayable, just sad that you cant use the shield-backpack with the autocannon but you get orbital-railcannon or 500kg in return so its okay
Is Railgun post-nerf really that bad? I was basically only using it unsafe pre patch anyway. If it still strips charger legs in two unsafe shots I think it's still very strong. Will have to do a run methinks...
As a big fan of the autocanon subtype of weapons in games (big gun make big hit with big boolet, go boom), i feel like ive seen an up-tick in its use recently. And i for one, could not be happier!
I can’t wait till I get this good cause this is honestly my favorite loadout I love using the auto Cannon, because it’s so useful for so many different things. Yes, it takes it backpack slot, but man it’s so good and with the recent charger Nerf, maybe even easier to kill chargers with the auto Cannon, but this is really like the exact Loadout. I use all the time I don’t have the orbital rail cannon yet, but I just unlocked it so we’ll see.
this man is what joel decides in his omnipresent drunken stooper "i fear no man but that thing...he is the destined slayer hes too angry too die" ( sends in half the planets infestation just to balance it)
I like how we basically use the same loadout xD Autocannon, Breaker, Impact Grenade, Scout armor for bonus stealth, Stamina Booster, Eagle, Orbital Rail. I think the only differences is that I like Orbital Laser and have been trying lately using the 390mm barrage to clear large camps. Is nice for heavy bases so you can sneak on one, drop the barrage and just run to the other side of the map.
Can you give me some tips for using stealth and how alerting enemies works? Somehow i always end up with airdrops
Hmm a lot to cover but here's a few pointers:
- Use an armour with reduced enemy detection range
- Pick a night mission and/or a map with lowered visibility due to rain, fog etc.
- When you're stealthing around enemies, maintain low profile i.e. crouching or crawling. Be very wary of standing up, sometime you can accidentally drop from a small rock which forces you into stand, that little movement can blow your cover, like at 14:22.

That was seriously impressive dude!
Amazing work man. I find stealth is far easier with the automatons.
Definitely, smaller groups and fewer enemy types that can alert, bases have nice big walls to hide behind too.
Love it! Every move is deliberate and calculated.
So many big brain plays in there.
Yep its a good weapon to deal with them...its just to bad to have nerfed an other tool to pick that all
Because it takes skill. The most vocal whiners are the people who can’t do the week 1 cheeses anymore and think the game is ruined because they actually have to learn how to use different guns and not the one 400 streamers said was the meta.
@@DL-cs2cj yeah they're trying to play a game, that is fundamentally a coop game, solo and expecting the harder difficulties to be possible
now you can one shot headshot them with EAT ez
Great run! Autocannon is my favourite support weapon. I always use it on robot missions. But I will probably never be able to be as good with it as you are so I can run solo helldive difficulty with it. I mean you quickly killed a charger with it. You finished off a bile titan after a rail cannon strike with it. A lot of skill is shown here 👍
ah an autocannon enjoyer love to see it man!
'He's a Super Hero dad!'
'No Son, he's a Helldiver.'
Subbed. Fun and powerful character
16:07 trailer worthy clip
3:46 did his bullet ricochet into a nuke??
Lol I was wondering what set it off, yeah a ricochet makes sense
Thanks for trying out the autocannon and fulfilling my request for a terminid run! Glad to see we see the same issues and benefits from the autocannon. Surprised though, no rocket pods this time around?
Thanks for the suggestion! It's a lot of people's favourite and I can see why.
And yeah, no rocket pods as they don't lock onto the bug nests, and while they can take out chargers, it tends to miss when they're, well, charging. For bugs I prefer the reliability of the railcannon strike, and the 500kg for titans and any research station objectives.
This is like watching John Wick in action. It goes beyond entertainment and becomes a work of art. Well done maestro!
Those Terminids took my car and killed my dog ¬_¬. Thanks for watching!
its refreshing to see someone not using the shield and railgun combo. any tips for using the auto cannon? especially agianst the titans?
I wouldn't call myself an autocannon expert, but here's a few basic tips:
If possible, reload before you're completely empty - the reload is much faster with one round still chambered.
Props for doing it without a shield backpack or railgun. I hope they buff the heavier armors
Armour defence ratings are bugged atm, once the fix is in we'll know how useful medium / heavies are!
Definitely a like! Autocannon is the most prettiest weapon, as for me. Love it
THE CLUTCH!
Seconds to spare, gotta make that ending dramatic y'know
This combo wombo is goated I swear, most versatile with the railcannon and orb laser, such sick gameplay!1
“You are the best of the best” well said. Except he forgot to mention…you one BAAAD MAN
very entertaining to watch, I'd be drained to have to be focused and on the edge like that during all that time...phew
I was definitely drained after this run. But the rush lasted a good while :)
Second comment. I noticed how little you checked your mini map. That's crazy. I feel like I'm leaning on it the entire time. Very cool.
I’m the auto cannon snob on the team and love providing the rear support, this vid just solidifies what my friends were arguing about when they tried getting me to switch off it to something else
I swear my friends and I couldnt destroy the nests with the autocannon. Really good to know! I'll be sharing that next time we play
Yeah, it can be fiddly, just gotta hit the middle of the hole itself rather than the edges! Same with the GL
I dont know this game but I can feel the challenge. GJ bro !
That’s what I wanted to see a solo run be!!💪🏼💪🏼
Nothing like seeing someone epically deploy some sweet controlled democracy and live to tell the tale.
This man is doing his part and then some
Damn man, made that look super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Well done Diver! My god I’m proud of you!
Excellent video man! Mad respect
Wow! That was amazing. I was for sure he was going to not make extract
just started this game, that was really great use of kiting.
Nice play, pro player. Hope to see more SOLO video bro. nice
That was incredible to watch.
I use all the time I don’t have the orbital rail cannon yet, but I just unlocked it so we’ll see.
this man is what joel decides in his omnipresent drunken stooper "i fear no man but that thing...he is the destined slayer hes too angry too die" ( sends in half the planets infestation just to balance it)
That endgame was insane. Wp
So impressive man , I’m a fan 😮
I like how we basically use the same loadout xD
Autocannon, Breaker, Impact Grenade, Scout armor for bonus stealth, Stamina Booster, Eagle, Orbital Rail. I think the only differences is that I like Orbital Laser and have been trying lately using the 390mm barrage to clear large camps. Is nice for heavy bases so you can sneak on one, drop the barrage and just run to the other side of the map.
Yeah, the patch has really made the barrages way more practical!
This was fantastic. That ending was stressing me out tho lol, just made it by a hair in classic Action movie fashion.
Unbelievable! GG Dude!
That railcannon hitting the Tower instead of the BT was Hilarious xD
When General Brasch asked for reinforcements, he didn't mean the Xbox players. He meant this Helldiver.
What's wrong with xbox players? :P
