The left handbrake is for the rear wheel which is the hub motor, and also has regen braking. You do not want that to be too tight as for regen braking to work its best is if you have slower braking, this is why its not as tight as the right front brake. And I dont know what the issue with your Max Pro’s suspension is because mine feels like Im riding a smooth boat and I love it.
I saw this scooter on the Hiboy website and wanted to see some reviews. I appreciate that you answered all the questions I had and this scooter is definitely a strong contender. Great video!
As slow as this takes off I would go with the Turboant V8, about the same weight both suck on take off but turboant has better range and customer service! Even though it will do 20mph its also about $180.00 cheaper right now.
Slow? I have five scooters, and this one os one of the fastest accelerating scooters ive ridden , especially on sport mode where it seems at times i might fly off if I accelerate too quickly. And you may have a good experience with Turboant, I have not and nobody I know has.
Unfortunately, there are very few hills in my city so I'm not able to test that out. Regular hilly streets it's completely fine, steep ones I can't say
I tried it on a hill with a 32-35 degree incline, and it ran smoothly without putting excessive strain on the battery and motor. Although it used full power to climb, it was surprisingly comfortable. I used the Eco mode while climbing the hill.
I haven't tried the Titan pro but they're pretty different. Titan will be a lot heavier and a more plush ride thanks to the larger suspension. In the end it just depends if you want something you can off road or something more portable
Which bars are you looking at? Because when you use the left brake that kicks on the regen braking that will briefly show up as three orange bars while your braking until the regen braking turns off.
I have this scooter in the cart and was just about to press the purchase button but i am second guessing my purchase now since i noticed in this video how the screen/dashboard of the scooter is blinking as he is driving almost looks as if there is a short in a wire some where is that normal for the screen to be doing that as the scooter drives also it looks like a pretty bumpy ride on a street that looks relatively smooth is this scooter usually a rough ride like it appears to be in the video I didnt watch the entire video yet maybe he will talk about the two issues..does anybody else reading this have this scooter and if so how do they like it
Hi, there is no short in the screen. The screen only blinks on video because of the camera. It's hard to judge the ride based on the video because any movement makes the camera shake more, but in reality it's a very smooth ride. It's not as good as a full, much larger suspension like off road scooters have, but compared to scooters with front suspension only, it's a great difference in comfort. I have over 500 miles on mine since I got it a few months ago and have not had any issues so far. If you have any questions just let me know!
It's not that heavy, but also not that light. With electric scooters, it's always a trade off. You can get a very light scooter, but it'll have a weak motor and small battery (low range). Or, you can get something like this one with better specs, but it'll weigh more. Again, it's not the lightest, but after moving it around a few times, it's not that bad. Theres a bunch of scooters that are 70+ lbs and those are the ones that are just a nightmare to carry around.
@@mariobx7186 Just like a car, its basically the power of the scooter. Stronger motor = faster acceleration, more hillclimbing abilities, and usually higher speed. For light commuting around 15mph, 350w and up is fine, but if you want to go faster or live in a hilly area, thats when you'll want to get at least 500w or more.
My Hiboy MAX Pro is locked using the app and now I cant unlock it. The Bluetooth sign on the scooter is blinking, there is also a lock icon and a P being shown on the scree. I cant even see the bluetooth name on my phone anymore. Hiboy should come up with a solution for this big problem!! This actually makes the product useless!
@@EricReviews hopefully you can reach out to the company and see whether they would send you one of the scooters to review. But do you know about the scooter?
@@ErrollJones-s6d Just looked it up and between the two, the Hiboy would definitely be better. The Kugoo is only 36v 13ah battery and the Hiboy is 48v 15ah. Hiboy is going to have better speed and range
@@EricReviewshey I would have loved the challenge because you're honest about your reviews it's so hard to believe some of these reviews M3 KUGOO KIRIN 40km and 40 miles? 🙄 🤣 May be its not true. Hope you can get one
@@ErrollJones-s6d Every scooter or ebike claims ridiculous range and speed. Theres no way either the hiboy or Kugoo would get 40miles unless you're going less than 5mph the entire time.
kind of false advertising to call it a "dual suspension" scooter on their website. I'm sure it helps, but it's way too small to actually compare to an actual rear suspension. That aside, for the specs I think it needs to be around $600 instead. At the same price of this one or less, theres a bunch of other scooters with better specs Oh well..good review though!
it's not quite a true suspension and it's more of a dampener. I would say though, it does work very well for regular commuting vs no rear suspension at all. It Isn't going to do much for rough riding, but for city riding it's a night and day difference.
@@hotwater8473Gotrax g6. I know Gotrax's prior history is bad but now they offer 2 year warranty instead of the old 3 month warranty. It's also $700 new but sometimes I've seen them for lower prices.

whats the range it gives out??
how many kms it works on a single charger
I just paid 450 for the the S2 MAX. Me and my kid are gonna use them to cruise around. Pretty good price I thought.
s2 max is pretty good and the range on drive is pretty good. same with sport

Odd. I just posted nearly the same thing just now and then see your comment, lol. Maybe hiboy will take note and do a price drop
Commented to say, yes it’s on sale for $700 on Amazon!
$650 on HiBoy website! Just snagged one so I’m psyched!!
I got mine for $538 on Amazon due to having Amazon promo credit and the $200 off deal they have on the scooter.
Get the refurbished
