I have both of these scooters. Two S2 Pros, and the Ninebot Max. The S2 pros are hands down more fun to ride. They are waaaaay more maneuverable and accelerate much quicker. The Ninebot is hands down the smoother and less jarring ride. That's the only category where I can give it a win. Even the range is seeming to favor the S2 Pro. The only time I've seen the Ninebot do better, is when you are not in sport mode......but who rides out of sport mode? Acceleration: S2 Pro Handling: S2 Pro Ride Quality: Ninebot Max Portability: S2 Pro
I tried out the Nonebot and the Hiboy Pro. The Ninebot seemed more sturdy and less bothered by hills. I liked them both but the Hiboy seemed to be the most bang for the buck, plus no flat tires since it is non pneumatic.
Average battery life on both scooters is in accurate.. Hiboy manufacturers clearly state 17.5 miles average battery life.. I ran this test on my Hiboy and it's spot on..
I wonder why some S2 Pros have solid rubber tires and some have honeycomb tires. Mine came with solid rubber tires and they are damn hard. I'd like to replace them but they look like a pain to remove and replace with softer tires.
I like your comparison , but I'm looking for a scooter that will climb a steep hills . Doesn't have to be much for range or speed . But capable of moving a 160 lb man up steep hills . Price is always a factor . Lower is always better . Under , $ 500 ? I'd appreciate your advice . I'd increase my budget if needed . Any idea's ?
@@bestchoicereview I own both of these scooters and they are both great but the ninebot max is higher quality and goes 5 miles farther 22 miles verse 27 miles for the max with my 225lbs
@@javierhidalgo9776 had mine for 3 years without a single issue of anykind, other than putting thread lock into the handle bar allen key. Not sure how much you weigh, or how you treat it. I'm 152, and just ride to work and back like a normal person.

Upgrade the S2 Pro's front suspension to dual spring and adjust the rears to soften them 👌. Upgrade to honeycomb tires too.
@@That1PinoyDIYdude do you have links to those upgrade parts?
Not to mention solid wheels don't get punctured or popped. I've never had any wheels last long than a year and wheels are a pain in the ass to change.

Bought mine black Friday. Love that I can ride over glass, or any weird debris.
I've also been riding it a lot, sort of aggressive fast riding on the sidewalks, scooter is still solid 💪💪
Do you still need to check psi weekly?
There solid tires no psi lol
