@11:02 I have a keis heated jacket and the best advise I can give you, is to either make yourself a spiral cord cable or see if a 3rd party one (smth like the gerbing optional accessory spiral cord thingy) fits the mosko jacket. You'll probably have to cut some bits on the bike harness part if you go DYI but, if you pick the proper spiral cord wire, it will give you at least 3X extension length allowing you to stand up, not rip anything if you forget to disconnect before dismounting. Personally I chose the DYI route and I picked a cable that has 30 cm in "rest" mode and extends to 1.2 meters without pulling on me. I honestly don't understand why these jackets don't come by default with a spiral cord cable.
You sure do have a lot of gear. 🙂 I recently made an ultralight heated vest from two car seat heaters. It plugs into the SAE connector on my baby GS bike and the 50 watts kept me toasty warm when riding to the Hoosier National Forest to camp in December.
Have the alpinestars tech 7 drystar for 3 years now. I've been to albania with +38 Celsius, was walking through shallow rivers and the boots was perfect. Stayed dry even in those conditions. When it's cold outside like 3-4 Celsius was cozy and warm inside. Next year I plan on going Swedish TET so good luck guys and see you there 😉
Hello Robert, winter gloves is an open topic for me. I have the Held Tonale since 3 years but after one hour of riding my finger tips are getting cold. I tried already a set of inner gloves but than I miss a good control of the handle bar and switches. Heated grips might be a solution but some really good winter gloves hopefully, too. I always enjoy and smile about your sense of humour. Please continue. Have a good year end and an even better start in the new year, Bernd 💙💛🏁🤛🏼
Hi Robert, thank you for your video. I live in the Black Forest. I also have the same problem with my fingers despite the heated grips. Since this winter I've been riding the FIVE WFX CITY EVO SHORT GTX to work every day. For the first time I don't have cold fingers. The long version will also be available in the spring. Have a good trip. Greetings Josef
I’m with you with the layering system , no need for the bulky heavy all seasons kits . Some good armour jackets out now such as BOWTEX AAA rated & adv spec kit . Did a month tour this year using layering systems , no problems from heavy rain days to temperatures hitting 42 degrees . Keep up the good work 👌
Thank you, Robert, for presenting your riding gear. I also just ordered the protector jacket Mk3 from Knox and I'm curious to see whether it will fit me, given my big belly. I also find the clothes from Adventure Specs quite interesting, although quite expensive. And on top of that, you can't even pay with PayPal, so I'm still refusing to buy there. What has frustrated me a bit so far is that I can't find any OTB pants that fit over my Alpine Stars Tech 7 dryStar. Until now, all trousers were too tight around the boot leg area. That's why the adjustable width on the Adv specs pants would be really awesome. So hey, one can't have everything. So, have a good slide into next year following a great saison 2024.👍🤘🥳
For my touring gear. I use layers too. I have a fully armored mesh jacket with a removal water and wind proof liner. I only wear the liner against cold. If it is raining or really cold I put a rain jacket over the mesh jacket. Under garments are a T-shirt and sometimes a long sleeve shirt for warmth. The inner liner of the mesh jacket is cold when wet which is why I use a rain jacket over the mesh. This creates a warm pocket of air between the cold wet rain jacket and the inner clothing. For the legs I just have armored blue jeans with protection. If it is a bad rain day I pull on some rain pants over the blue jeans. I wanted mesh pants too as the jeans are warm on a really hot day. I haven't found a good pair of mesh jeans with a removal inner liner, still looking. For gloves I have summer gloves and rain gloves. The rain gloves are thinly insulated. I supplement those with heated grips. I am thinking about getting rain gloves with heat only on the non palm side of the gloves. The back of the hands are a little cool even with wind deflectors. Boots are just waterproof boots that I can comfortably walk in.
I have Revolution Race, also. Great stuff! I also use Tech 3 base layer tops and bottoms by Forcefield. I have 3 sets, love them. A big fan of the Mosko Moto's SignatureJacket & Pants. Beautiful and a perfect fit, along with the Knox MK3 Jacket and the Revit Proteus Jacket for Offroad. For the legs, padded pants by Bohn Body Armor. They are fantastic! Lastly, for those cold runs, I have the Klim Mavericks Down Jacket and the windproof/waterproof Klim Resilience Jacket to wear under my Klim Marrakesh Jacket and pants. Stops all wind and keeps me from freezing. I have a Dainese rain suit, also.
Stellar video as they say (whoever they are), lots of good options to consider for those of us (in the US) who ride year-round in KLIM gear for the most part. I've been keeping any eye on the Mosko Moto stuff but have been pretty much noncommittal to this point. Your demonstrations and explanations of their gear has me inclined to dig into in/them a little deeper. Happy new year by the way!
I enjoyed this one Robert. It was fun to see the revolution race stuff. They are easy remembered for their really really poor advertisements. They have so poor actors it’s really a joke, but then when you start looking at their gear it’s usually pretty good stuff. Well, it should be, although not Skaraborgian, it is West Gothian design. I salute that. Personally I’ve gone for a mixture of Cycle gears own brands with a Jacket from Revit and Helmet from Schubert. I had not finalized my viewing of the latest TET clip yet but this popped up so had to view it.
Hi Robert, if one of your fingers gets cold (usually the thumb or little finger) your winter gloves are probably too tight or don't have the right fit! Just a small fix and you would be able to ride in winter without cold hands 👌🏻
if hes anything like me it doesnt matter the type of gloves you wear, they always get cold, normally to mitigate this i usually have to wear a liner at minimum, even then my hands still get cold.
Great video Robert - nice play on dropping the phone...I like ADV Spec but they stopped shipping to Canada this year....I bought way too much Mosko stuff in the last month, looking forward to testing it out this season.
Great video Robert, thanks for sharing. Happy new Year to you and all the Nomad Sweden riders, full of joy, amazing rides and hopefully another awesome series coming too. 👍👍
Hi Robert, thanks for the funny catwalk style video 🤣. I am an onion guy too, especially off road. The AS stuff works fine so far. Think I will try the rain jacket for trips. However in cold wet condition I use laminated gore tex jacket from Stadler. Thats the top notch gear IMHO considering the key aspects of MC Gear - and yes that stuff is fckn expensive - but worth the cost. Got the TEC 7 drystar boots. Very comfy and protective BUT NOT waterproof. Disappounting. They can handle wer street, a short rain but you will get wet feet when its raining - wet boots for days is a nightmare on a camping trip. I would not buy the drystar version again. Keep it upright - thanks for sharing - cheers
Good work, nice vid. One personal experience for the boots. Had the drystar, never again. If those get water inside and it is just a matter of time then no membrane boots dries in half a day, Drystar dries......well......never.
Interesting vid Robert. Lot of transitional gear which is needed. The heated jacket is trick, a set of matching pants would be good too. Frey Daytona boots, top quality but not as dirt bike looking. Oxford heated grips and maybe Gerbings heated gloves, there are other makes available. The little heat packs in the back of a double layer BMW or Held gloves works great. I'm big on Held, top shelf. In a few weeks it will be riding season. A lot of possibilities exist then. One must be very careful and expect the unexpected. Cars don't expect you on the road and the sun is low on the horizon. Hope you are having a great holiday season. Take care from the hills of east Kentucky USA
Nice review Robert...I'm on a constant quest to simplify and refine my bike gear. For instance I have a Gerbring heated gilet, and wear a thin Patagonia puffer jacket over it. Looking at your Mosko Moto heated puffer it will do the job of both...!! Ps, I'm surprised you haven't got the ADV spec jackets in blue😂. The Reckless 40 in that Desert colour looks great..I also really like the look of their Woodsman pants in Olive, I guess your Leatt knee braces should be on my shopping list too! What bloomin fashionistas we are...😂😂😂. Cheers Steve 💚
Hi, I keep similar logic. Merino base layer up and down. Macna heated jacket and pants. Knox shirt, cover by standard sport (casual) jacket, Pandomoto pants, Modeka Tacoma jacket with opening vents. Breathable syntetic t-shirt and underpants. Water resistant Rebelhorn jacket plus Berghaus pants. Plus three pair of shoes from tennis summer style to warm winter. I resigned of waterproof shoes, but in case of heavy rain I wear waterproof socs. This set of clothes allows me to ride from +3C to 33+C. I configure depend to type of ride: commute, a few hours ride, one day excursion, etc.., trip style and expected weather condition. Usually in my area and for commute I wear light with Knox Shirt, for longer travels, I prefer tour jacket cause using it several days in line degragates it. Best regs.
@@NomadSweden The nice thing with Knox Shirt is that I use synthetic t-shirt under when its hot weather. I practiced that moisturizing the t-shirt at the pause stops helps a lot at the ride to keep warmth a little bit more bearable.
Thanks for the funny and good explanation! Im looking forward to the reckless review. I have a Honda x-adv and im curious if i can still open my saddle when mounted.
I have a light Macna heated vest, which can be adjusted with an app. There is a possibility to connect heated gloves to the vest, which should solve the cold pinky syndrome I think. No personal experience, but the advantage is that you can keep the heat on in the rain without having your gloves transport water towards your hands which is what can happen with heated grips.
Yes, 100% agree. I have on my Tenere in Sweden. And on my Kove 450 rally here in China. Heated grip on and thinner gloves gives you better control. When its -20 it's mandatory
Happy new year mate. So gloves, nothing worse than cold fingers. So in a similar way to AS and their adventure gear for bikes ethos I can recommend a thin silk inner glove and then any of your gloves over the top. Sized correctly you won’t loose the use use of any fingers and the hood thing bout silk is it sets quick and they are small to pack. Ride safe
Heated gloves are fantastic though a little bulky. I ran Gerber gloves which lasted many 10s of thousands of kilometres. If you prefer the option of wearing a thinner glove then any old enduro handle bar muffs really complement heated grips. Just make sure your confident your hand wont get trapped if you have a spill. Little wrist/thumb sleeves also make a huge difference. The houdini ones are awesome but so is cutting up a wool sock. Cheers Paul
Great info and insight Robert! I wear a Knox Urbane pro shirt too under a MX Jersey if hot or under my Klim Dakar jacket… Have had 2 minor (low speed) offs on dirt / gravel roads and both times suffered forearm abrasions that caused some grief until fully healed. My jury is still out! Knox gear is comfortable but I would not consider it 100% protection. Wet gloves… AStars Drystar gloves are my go to after many years trying all sorts! I hate bulky ‘waterproof’ gloves and the lack of feel. Good feel, warm and comfy, short cuff to hide under a waterproof jacket cuff… Survived many a torrential downpour and quick to dry the outer. My 10c worth :) Look fwd to the new Mosko luggage review… Maybe by a lakeside with BBQ dinner and a beer or 3 :)
Thanks for the feedback. Yes the Knox passed the abrasion tests in a lab but it is much thinner than a full jacket so it must be less safe for sure. Comfort and protection will not always go hand in hand. Thanks for the tip on the gloves. Cheers
awesome. I always look forward to the gear review. I have some AdvSpec stuff, sizing it tricky for me. I'm sort of in-between 2 sizes. Also have the Knox "shirt", maybe between sizes on that too. 1st world problems. great Vid!
Wearing my Knox urbane pro more in the hot Texas sun. Airflow is great, but black is hot when I stop. Need a white/light jersey to go over the “shirt/jacket”. Tips on jersey size to fit over the Urbane pro? Anyone? I wear a medium Knox. Thinking large or even Xl.
I think you will like the Reckless 40, I had one for a couple of years and it was great for camping. I traded it for a Reckless 80 thinking I needed more space, but I don't even use the top bag, just the legs, so maybe I made the trade for nothing.
Gloves...years ago I rode in -7 degrees celcius...lots of windchill at 90km/h and truth is that my regular leather gloves with a thin thermaltake layer of fleece was warmer than my motorcycle goretex gloves. Reason, leather blocked off the wind better than fabrics.
One more nice video, no doubts about it! i think you just missed one point...the price of your gear. Mosko Moto and Adventure Specs are not for the average ( i mean..$$$ ) rider. Their gear is very expensive altought regarding Mosko Moto, top end quality ( never tried Adv Specs ). Whenever presenting gear, it would be interesting to add it´s value. That way, your viewers could "manage" some expectations about wanting the same 😁! Nice tip about RevolutionRace👌
Ever thought about a lighter jacket than the single track? More on the pants would be interesting. Revit have a new heated waterproof glove that´s pretty nice for cold days
good review! You need to work in sales - I check online shop always after seeing your video :) but thanks God I realised that I have everything at the moment (maybe just bags ...)! Keep going - very useful info!
I am a bad person.... was waiting for you to f*ck up with constantly repositioning the DJI mic 🤣 But nevertheless, great video Rob! I'm also very fond of the 2023 Singletrack Jacket. Use it off the bike a lot in the autumn and winter.
@@NomadSweden for that reason I tend to create voice over videos now and then 😂 btw leaving that falling phone is was brilliant 😂 really made me laugh.
@@NomadSweden I am not sure what the maximum horsepower gains are but there is a significant increase both in power and torque in the mid range from 2500 revs till 7000. you tend to run one gear up from before as the available power is there .
Hi Robert, nice information. I understand your layering principle and the harness. It is a very good solution for the dry and warm periods offroad. In Holland we have have more than 6 months (from autum to spring) a mostly change on wet and colder weather. In this period i use my goretex laminated jacket. Good protection / warm and waterproof. Only a base layer (merino wool) is sufficient. Or i choose to remove the innerlining and use a midlayer. Isnt this a option for Sweden? What are the other Nomads wearing ?
As mentioned this is one of all the options available. Your will work too. Especially if you like it 😊 The other Nomads have similar to my setup. Main reason is to keep protection on the body where its fixed
Thanks for this entertaining and interesting overview ;-) I am going to try out this year this set of different layers for my first time. Usually wearing one of these general all-in-on ADV jackets. But only one issue with the set of layers concept: When wearing e.g. the knox protection jacket, a warm mid layer above and a waterproof outershell like AS Single track or Mosko Moto Basilisk, what happen on german highways with wind buffeting of the gear? So usually having the first and the last day of a weekly trip riding long distances on german highways with 130-180 km/h to come close to mediterranean or scandinavia area. On this distances the weather changes a lot especially, windy and wet. In the presentation or commercial videos of those jackets (e.g. AS single track) one could only see riders going with max 120 km/h? through dirt or gravel roads. Appreciate your recommendation. Hejda
That's a lot of gear to wear. It's a bit strange to see because here in Brazil we only use a jeans and a jacket for protection. But the rain coat is always inside the bag.
Yes it's true we northerners are wearing more gear than the locals in warmer countries. I see it on the road :) And as youtuber I get more gear to try out :)
I do have to wonder with this setup, how well will this hold up in terms of abbresion. Especially the upper body does not seem to be really protected for this. Yes, offroad this would protect you quite well. However, in a crash on asfalt it does not look that safe to me. Even though you might want to ride offroad, you'll still ride asfalt and maybe even highway. You'll want some decent protection for sliding on asfalt. I do think it is better to have to protection directly on your body as you do. Less chance of it sliding to the wrong places when crashing. Have noticed that it is way too easy to have the protection too loose. Which can result in burn wounds (protection vibrating on the skin) or of course the procection not being where it's needed. I think the better solution would be your protection 'base layer' with a real rated suit on top. And you should not really be riding without it. I really like the chest bag, I'll have a look if I can recreate that somehow onto my Revit Barren (Kriega system) backpag. Indeed much prefered over a tankbag. Though I would want it to be waterproof.
As always great video and humour! Just got the Mosko Woodsman enduro pant delivered after seeing your video and they were very big. I you don't mind me asking, what size did you buy?
wont drystar boots be worse in dry weather and wont dry as fast? went for non membrane boots for that reason, as merino will keep me warm even wet. im thinking about using my non membrane sg12 for offroad as you can get wet with membrane boots if you fall in a puddle or crossing a river and its a pita to dry membrane boots, but add some more comfortable boots with membrane, like revit pioneer/discovery for touring/town runs. Really like your setup, layering vs all included is cost and versatility vs convenience, its more convenient just to throw on armored jacket than to layer armor when you need to do a short run to town, that knox jacket seems to solve the issue, for lower part its harder to add or take off something so i might go for all included option as i havent found comfortable standalone kee guards, suspenders i think is a must, especially for fatter guys, much more comfortable than relying on belt that tend to dig in your sides with heavy pants.
It was a great show as always, and awesome gear. but it is nothing for people with low budgets i can't afford a raincoat for over 400€ and mosko moto is much more expensive than the rest! it would be nice to see a gear project for those that are not sponsored/ or supported. Maybe someone will have a thought of those who have a small budget! maybe someone will read this and think about the fact.
Listening to your video was exhausting 😂 you need to be endorsed, quite wealthy or retired and just bored of nothing to do for 9 months of the year in Sweden to accumulate that amount of gear!
Well I have a full time job and also run a Taekwondo club without pay, and 3 kids. :) Still after making videos I do get bored and have too much free time :)
Have you been liking the knox jacket for off-roading? I’ve got the Leatt 6.5 and it’s got good airflow but it is a tad bulky and I get a bit frustrated with the shoulder pads not staying in place and it’s a hassle to put on and off…
I use the Knox for all riding and I like it for offroad too, although it's not as protective as a real offroad armor. But I don't really go that hard enduro.
I bet Paris fashion week coreographers are taking notes ;)... [Spiderman moves...approving nod]. Layering is the main method in my clothing as well. I never use the layers that come with jacket or pants. But I have also separate rain gear; I want max breathability for my outer layer.
@@NomadSweden Ha, that's definitely my style of answer. I appreciate the videos! Would be interested to see a comparison if you're interested, but I definitely support not buying more things without much reason to do so!
Hello, do you think that putting knox urbane pro pants instead of knee protectors under singletrack pants has any sense, just like you did with the jackets (knox only when warm, adding singletrack when cold/wet)?
Not sure. I would feel like haveing two pair pf pants on, if you add the singletrack pants over. Perhaps if you have a thinner pant as weather proofing.
Very nice video 👌 i am going to buy the singletrack jacket and the baltic hybrid jacket from adventure spec.. wich size do you bought? And how tall are you?
@@maachir2400 Yes I have Large in everything I wear outer layer. It works well for all brans, but I could have chosen Medium on Mosko Moto because they have larger sizes.
in another video you mentioned an alpine star armor jacket, where is that? don't you use anymore? this looked like offering more protection than this one
I will mount it all tomorrow and will try. I am quite sure it works if you remove the beaver tail from the reckless and mount the Backcountry with straps as usual.
@@NomadSweden tankväskor är bra om man inte vill bära något på kroppen när man kör eller om man vill ha snabb access till större saker som kameror eller drönare.
The armoured shorts are very cool if you wear MX/enduro type pants and end up on your arse. Not wearing them one day on the beach when I had a little high-side excitement in my knee armour, jeans and waterproof oversuit led to my preference for leather trousers with knee and hip armour 🤣@@NomadSweden
@@NomadSwedenwe need to know about the leathers - it's what I dived into the comments to say. The modern kit may have some practical advantages, but we al know looking cool is more than 99% of what's really important. Great video - I always enjoy the gear stuff more than is healthy 😁
Tech 7 waterproofs are not waterproof, not even through small puddles or in rain. Me and my buddy both own them: same results. So we wear Sealskinz socks.

Keep it upright - thanks for sharing - cheers
Thanks for the feedback and tips! Cheers
Good work, nice vid. One personal experience for the boots. Had the drystar, never again. If those get water inside and it is just a matter of time then no membrane boots dries in half a day, Drystar dries......well......never.
Thanks 😊 will remember that
Interesting vid Robert.
Thanks for all the tips 😊👍🏻
Cheers Steve 😊
Best regs.
Thanks for feedback 👍🏻
@@NomadSweden The nice thing with Knox Shirt is that I use synthetic t-shirt under when its hot weather. I practiced that moisturizing the t-shirt at the pause stops helps a lot at the ride to keep warmth a little bit more bearable.
Thanks for the funny and good explanation! Im looking forward to the reckless review. I have a Honda x-adv and im curious if i can still open my saddle when mounted.
Informative, as usual. Thanks Robert!
Hey Robert. Thx for sharing your experience. Nice an informative video. Best regards form Hamburg. Stan
Danke sehr
I have a light Macna heated vest, which can be adjusted with an app. There is a possibility to connect heated gloves to the vest, which should solve the cold pinky syndrome I think. No personal experience, but the advantage is that you can keep the heat on in the rain without having your gloves transport water towards your hands which is what can happen with heated grips.
Thanks. The Mosko headed jacket actually have no connectors for gloves. That's a bummer.
It was an enjoyable video, thank you, I hope you have a good year.
Thanks you too!
Although they don't look very nice I find that nothing comes close to handlebar muffs to keep hands warm!
So I've heard. For winter touring I guess there is nothing better
Yes, 100% agree. I have on my Tenere in Sweden. And on my Kove 450 rally here in China. Heated grip on and thinner gloves gives you better control. When its -20 it's mandatory
Allways a pleasure to see your videos. Funny and informativ. Layer system or All-in-one ist the same like Softbag or Hardcose.I like AdvSpec😉
Thanks mate :)
Ride safe
Thanks for the tip mate :)
That heated jacket seems like a great thing!
I rode 230km in 2 degrees today. The heated jacket was a life saver
Robert, try heated gloves. Better than heated grips and should plug into your jacket
🤚🏻🔥
Heated gloves are fantastic though a little bulky. I ran Gerber gloves which lasted many 10s of thousands of kilometres.
If you prefer the option of wearing a thinner glove then any old enduro handle bar muffs really complement heated grips. Just make sure your confident your hand wont get trapped if you have a spill.
Little wrist/thumb sleeves also make a huge difference. The houdini ones are awesome but so is cutting up a wool sock.
Cheers
Paul
Har tyckt att den där jackan ser så j-a nice ut sedan jag såg det första avsnittet med dig. Man blir bra sugen på att köpa en när Rukkan ger upp.
Great info and insight Robert! I wear a Knox Urbane pro shirt too under a MX Jersey if hot or under my Klim Dakar jacket…
Have had 2 minor (low speed) offs on dirt / gravel roads and both times suffered forearm abrasions that caused some grief until fully healed.
My 10c worth :)
Look fwd to the new Mosko luggage review… Maybe by a lakeside with BBQ dinner and a beer or 3 :)
Thanks for the feedback. Yes the Knox passed the abrasion tests in a lab but it is much thinner than a full jacket so it must be less safe for sure. Comfort and protection will not always go hand in hand. Thanks for the tip on the gloves. Cheers
@@NomadSweden Welcome and thanks for your reply! After so many years riding, I’m still like a 16yo girl…. ‘But I’ve got nothing to wear’…

awesome. I always look forward to the gear review. I have some AdvSpec stuff, sizing it tricky for me. I'm sort of in-between 2 sizes. Also have the Knox "shirt", maybe between sizes on that too. 1st world problems. great Vid!
Thanks. Not always easy to be the middle man :)
Cool. Would say using 90% the same stuff. Happy New Year !!!!
Happy new year 🎊
I think you will like the Reckless 40, I had one for a couple of years and it was great for camping. I traded it for a Reckless 80 thinking I needed more space, but I don't even use the top bag, just the legs, so maybe I made the trade for nothing.
Thanks for the feedback. Sounds good then 😊
Gloves...years ago I rode in -7 degrees celcius...lots of windchill at 90km/h and truth is that my regular leather gloves with a thin thermaltake layer of fleece was warmer than my motorcycle goretex gloves. Reason, leather blocked off the wind better than fabrics.
Thanks for the tip!
As always, very well thought thru 💪🏽
Another sweet one Robert!
Thanks. Yes pricy indeed. But neither of these are reviews or recommendations. Just showing my gear on request. I am planning a budget gear video also
Well done spiderman. Happy new year
Happy ner year :)
Try Hippo Hands, along with heated grips keep you nice and warm.
Thanks 🙏
I was so worried about the bike😂 0:39
Thanks🤝
greetings from Slovakia :D
Ever thought about a lighter jacket than the single track? More on the pants would be interesting.
Revit have a new heated waterproof glove that´s pretty nice for cold days
I think the Singletrack hits the sweetspot for me between lightness and ruggedness. Thanks for the glove tip
good review! You need to work in sales - I check online shop always after seeing your video :) but thanks God I realised that I have everything at the moment (maybe just bags ...)! Keep going - very useful info!
Thanks :)
I am a bad person.... was waiting for you to f*ck up with constantly repositioning the DJI mic 🤣 But nevertheless, great video Rob! I'm also very fond of the 2023 Singletrack Jacket. Use it off the bike a lot in the autumn and winter.
Haha thanks. This was actually my second recording... since I f*ckd up with the microphone completely the first time. 😂😂
@@NomadSweden for that reason I tend to create voice over videos now and then 😂 btw leaving that falling phone is was brilliant 😂 really made me laugh.
Happy new year! I still use my old gear until it wears thin ;-) Günter/Nürnberg
Thanks Günter. Happy new year!
@@NomadSweden Happy New Year, Robert!
I got my ECU remapped too recently , but on a euro 5 23' world raid . Can't wait to hear what you think about it.
Yes I am waiting in pain :) It's supposed to give me 8 more horsepowers. WIll do a side by side test with Seymors standard T7. Stay tuned :)
Hejda
Thanks. Not sure about wind buffeting above 120km/h as I never go that fast 😊
Sorry for missing this 😅 so have to try out myself 😊
Thanks. The armor jacket is full CE licensed AA class to be used as aonly riding jacket. Tha’s why I can wear anything over it
@@NomadSweden oh wow, did not expect that for the weight. Thanks for the response!
Hi Robert, THX for this, and the other videos 👍
When you wear the mosko moto pants, do you then wear additional hip protectors underpants? 🙋♂️
Personally i wear only knee protectors.
Tack 🤘
With that spiderman ending, I imagine you've got a kid who is super embarrassed by you 😂😂
Haha i got 3 kids hiding now 😂😂
Great video with nices ideas, nice one top Model 🤣
As always great video and humour! Just got the Mosko Woodsman enduro pant delivered after seeing your video and they were very big. I you don't mind me asking, what size did you buy?
Yes they are big. I got 34 and could actually get a size smaller
Much Enjoyment 👍😎😂
Great video! I am always bedazzled how you kept your T7 undamaged, no plastic scratched, no tank dents, without crash bars??
Thanks. Well, it has many small scratches but nothing big. Without bars the bike is thin as a knife. It's only fat when you add the bars :)
@@NomadSweden yeah i know. I am thinking of getting the aftermarket soft&bendy side plastics and ditching the crash bars
wont drystar boots be worse in dry weather and wont dry as fast? went for non membrane boots for that reason, as merino will keep me warm even wet. im thinking about using my non membrane sg12 for offroad as you can get wet with membrane boots if you fall in a puddle or crossing a river and its a pita to dry membrane boots, but add some more comfortable boots with membrane, like revit pioneer/discovery for touring/town runs.
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the pointer. Very valid. Gives me ideas 😊
Thanks for the overview! Do you also use a chest/rib protector?
No chest protector but perhaps next time when I need to replace this one
Thanks for excellent ideas!
Btw, what is your size of Knox mesh jacket? I believe it must be very tight?
I have large and it fits me well
Great video! Just wish there was the same selection of clothes for women. And the microphone - well....we've all been there.
I can show womens clothes in the next video 😂 thanks Verene ❤️

Hi Nomad , Love the channel so much good info , have a question , are you going to tell us what you think of the Ranger tires ? Cheers from DK
Thank you. Yes as soon as I have worn them out.
Haven't tried them yet, but hippo hands seem popular
Indeed must try
Nice gear.
Oooh, a fashion show 😘!
I missed the catwalk, but I did Spiderman instead :)
I bet Paris fashion week coreographers are taking notes ;)... [Spiderman moves...approving nod].
Layering is the main method in my clothing as well. I never use the layers that come with jacket or pants. But I have also separate rain gear; I want max breathability for my outer layer.
@Finuser2010 😂
Tack för en bra video! Inga höftskydd i byxorna? Inget bröstskydd i Knox jackan?😮
Byxorna har inga skydd als. De är gjorda för att ha skydd under. Så kräng på höftskyddslager om du vill. Jackan har bröstskydd som tillval. 👍🏻
I've been looking for myself and I'm curious why you chose the Knox shirt over the AS supershirt. I'd love to hear your thoughts on em.
The supershirt just didnt exist when I bought the knox 😊

Try Tucano Urbano muffs. I have a revelation 😁
Any gore tex gloves wil get wet with heated grips. Don't know why bit it is wat it is. Something to do with heated grips reversing the membrane.
Yes then the water wapour goes in instead of out

Do you not wear chest armor? Do you feel there is a need for some?
I don’t have it and never felt the need. But it all depends on gambling with what could happen.
in another video you mentioned an alpine star armor jacket, where is that? don't you use anymore? this looked like offering more protection than this one
also don't you consider using more protection like e.g. least 6.5 armor jacket
Sorry never had alpinestar except boots

Nope. Not yet at least.
