We have been riding this February in Wyoming USA. Last year I had a 7 foot snow drift across my yard in February. Must be global warming. The Sturgis Rally in South Dakota used to be a little biker gathering in the 1970s. Now everyone is invited and 600,000 biker come each year. Your friend may need to buy more land. Great video!😎👍

As usual it is a joy to watch your videos Robert !!! I'm looking forward to July/August when I will return to Sweden for some Dirt Roads and outdoor living. Always motivating and inspiring these videos of yours! Keep on making them! Ah, and by the way, I like the humor very much!!!

Lucky with the weather, no doubt. 😂 And imagine you would be that old fart dressing up in a HEATED jacket 😂🥰 Told you 🤣 Damn I need to get out on the road soon myself. Hi all, have a question that may be of interest to to others thinking of exploring your amazing country. We are thinking of moving to Sweden from France but of course friends keep saying won't be able to do anything for 9 months of the year as weather so bad. Realistically speaking, how long would the riding season be if you were no further north than Vetlanda and looking for conditions similar to the video. I am sure this was exceptional weather for February but just an idea when could potter around short trips off road 30km or so, what month would those conditions start and end? And of course long trips up north in the summer. Sure it must be longer than 3 months, I hope so! Great video, cheers
Hi. Since Greta started the warming we are lucky if we have snow more than 1-2 months in southern part of Sweden. This season i have ridden every month except January. If you want to go far north I would go end of May to september. We are getting more French every day, except our farmers are calm.
@@NomadSweden Thank for the reply, very interesting and contrary to what a lot of people think. To be honest in South west France a lot of our trails are hard work as still a mudbath with the logging vehicles as we get wet winters, so nowhere the fairly good conditions you guys had. And of course we also get the 40c plus summer heat which is no fun with gear on, so all in all is the season that much worse there or possibly even better. It really does look great there and that you could ride for 100km almost all off road, or at least from a lot of videos I see it looks like that. Yes, your farmers and Swedes in general are calmer which probably makes for a nicer experience when actually on the road, French drivers are a tad erratic to say the least! Cheers
What! Based on you FB (Facebook, that is), I knew to wait for a video from Slush Rally, but somehow I missed this after all. Well, conditions seems like a normal summer weather in Finland 🤪. Looks fun enough, though.
About the same weather here in Vancouver, but a little too soon for me on the bike. You Swedes sure push that adventure envelope. I'm surprised you didn't hammock. Wouldn't it be warmer off the ground?
Oxford heated grips. Like the look of the heated jacket liner. Cool music. Sketchy road. after 1 degree the wind movement can freeze it at ground level. If a person had a small lithium 12v battery the heated jacket would be extra nice in the sleeping bag if needed. Good meet. Liked the market. Bet the locals have fun with all those old crazy bikers coming to town. We've had good weather in easy Kentucky USA. early spring. Stay safe in these waning winter days. Still some dangers lurking to bite your ass. Next time. Maybe a round table discussion someday with the Nordic friends

Question: What is your engine coolant temperature in this weather? From what I remember mine was around 75 C. So it’s not perfect but it’s understandable. I remember when I bought T7 on November 2023. I flew from Calgary, AB to Abbotsford BC. We did a transaction and around 4 pm I start heading home to east towards Mountains. My first stop was Hope,BC when back in 1981 Rambo First Blood movie was made. Next day I start riding around 6am. I took highway 3 because my final destination was Lethbridge,AB. It’s 1100 km trip through the Rockies and I’m telling you my friend I was so so lucky that in end of November I was still able to drive Hgw 3. Usually at this time of the year Kootenay Pass it’s cover with snow and the road is closed. The temperature was fluctuating between -3 - +5 so it was freaking cold. The sound of T7 engine and the fact how amazing this bike is kept me alive 😂 Love your videos man. No BS just pure enjoyment. I live temporary in Elkford BC and can’t wait to bring my T7 here. This is dead end town and most of the roads are gravel service roads. So you are basically on the verge of the adventure and pure Canadian nature.
Is it usual not to have snow in Sweden this time of year? We have almost no more snow here in QUEBEC (Canada) but unfortunately our road laws do not allow us to drive before March 15th. Have a nice riding season!
Well compared to 20 years ago this is very unusual. But the recent years have had warm winters mixed with really cold ones. So it's quite random nowadays. Have a good season you too
I really don't know if the Singletrack pants is worth it! Is it really waterproof and breathable? I mean, for that price it also should be able to create a latte macchiato. Thx Robert, for presenting this nice meeting. I think I'm getting too old for these low temperatures. First year, that I didn't make a ride while below 10 ° C.🤧
I noticed that you’re using an Ace Pro with a helmet mic. Can you tell me what mic you are using? I purchased the adapter already. Love your videos. You do really great work. Thank you.

I did once a highsider and got almost hit by a car sliding over the road, brmecausevof invisible black icez So I have too much respect for slippy roads to get out on the bike before it’s safe to ride. 3dgr in the morning are just perfect to create black ice at some spots were cold air is laying in a lower part of the road.
