great video. didn't know that hidroshot can actually do the job . loving the simplicity
It gets the job done just! Thanks for watching remember to subscribe!
WOW great video! Didn't know about the elbow adaptor... Thanks a lot for the tips!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Hey just want to know if did anything different for your hydroshot? looks like alot stronger than other video's ive seen thanks
Pretty good - but - I use my Hydroshot 1st as a soapy pre-wash with a high-concentration of Turtle Wax Wash, less than $5 a gallon .... the Zymol is great but pricey.
( Suggestion : Order a 20V / 4A battery from Worx and the Turbo Nozzle. Next step is the 450 psi double battery tool that brings you up to 8A of power from 2 )
I then use a dozen or more freshly cleaned microfiber wash cloths lightly a section at a time. Any touching of the paint is then done with the new hybrid ceramic wash at a high concentration to lower rubbing pressure needed.
For tires/wheels I still like Dawn but don’t use the industrial or super concentration - just hesitant to use such strong chemicals and risk discoloring or other problems.
I only air dry. Followed by a new spray cleaner/wax like Rain-X or similar - keeping all touching, rubbing, scrubbing, buffing to an absolute bare minimum.
How do you manage to get so much more pressure from the worx washer?
Well the angle attachment arrived today, genuine worx, it needs another attachment, just out of interest do you have a link for the attachment your using?
Thanks! You've helped me a lot!
Hello@48 Detailing, would you like to review the new MJJC foam cannon pro? Thanks.
Great video! Thanks! How many PSI is your Works Hydroshot? I've always been using rinseless wash but I'd like to try this out.
Around 300 I believe
Awesome video. How did you get your muzzle to be angled like that? Cheers
It’s an angled cupler you can find it on amazon!
I know this video is a few years old, but what is that attachment you have on the end of your hydroshot? It's angled? If you see this a link would be amazing 🙏
Dove hai acquistato quell'ugello per worx??
Zaia, is there any product you would recommend to use with the foam cannon for the Hydroshot? I wash my car in my apartment complex parking lot, so a lot of mess is not desirable 👍🏼
I would use just a few oz of p&s Pearl, does not foam up to much but has great cleaning abilities!
Worx does sell a soap dispenser attachment. It won't create foam but would soap it looking like how he did in the car. You can either let the soap do its work and rinse it off if you don't want to scratch the paint or you can go over with a wash mit/cloth to give it some agitation. My vehicles wrapped so I like to give it a quick wash after each ride, so I just do a quick rinse, then soap it, let it sit for a couple minutes then rinse it and dry it then depending how lazy I am do the windows with a window cleaner. This takes about half hour to do.
Great video ! Do you mix Meguiars X-press wax and ONR in one sprayer ? If so, what ratio ?
I notice when you dry the hood, you just spray and wipe with a damp towel once.... dont you need to buff after with a dry one ?
256:1 for the onr and I believe I put around 10oz off xwax in there as well! And no no real buff off needed!
@@48Detailing do you put x-press wax in the ONR bucket you use with the Hydroshot ?
What is in the little Black sprayer you use as drying aid ?
@@arnenuggat the dilution I gave you is what's in the little black Bottle!
Good video buddy tfs
Can you also put amazon links for product in your description box so that we can check out. Like works hydro and products.
Yes will do!
Could you hook up a foam cannon on the worx washer
You can purchase a "foam cannon" from Worx that directly attaches to the hydro shot. It works okay, you can also connect any quick connect foam cannon to it but there is not really enough psi nor gpm for it to produce proper foam.
Recently bought hydroshot but don’t seem to get that water pressure. Am I missing something here? Thank you.
How long did the one battery last you? I recently got the newer model with 2 batteries attached and it only lasted like 15-20 min. I’m kinda disappointed.
With the single battery I would get around 20 min or run time 👍
Hi Zaia! I am really enjoying your recommendation with this product, I have another question for you... Do you know if there is any backpack to carry the water or something? Using the bucket is ok but I think carrying it in the back would be better... Is there such a thing?
I haven’t seen it bro! Hi that is a great idea!
@@48Detailing I just wanted to know in advance if something like that existed...I think I will try to put one of those collapsible 5 gallon bottles in a backpack and see how it goes haha!!
Best wishes! 👍🏼👍🏼
Try using a pesticide type container the type carried around by gardeners etc, just fill it with water instead lol
Looks like good amount of pressure for car wash... which battery where u using? And does the attachment ur using increase the pressure? Thanks
Hey kamran, thanks for the comment! I am using the standard 20v battery that comes with the tool along with a 25 degree nozzle, which does slightly increase the pressure!
@@48Detailing Nice! I cant seem to find the nozzle. Where was it purchased from?
You can usually find it in your local tool store, but I got mine of Amazon! Link to the Amazon page is in the description of my previous video: ua-cam.com/video/Kh9VQxagZK4/v-deo.html
Where did you get the adjustable tip for the Worx? That would come in handy.
It's called a pivoting coupler you can find it on Amazon!
@@48Detailing Is that the Worx branded one? Or does any old coupler fit? I'm assuming it has to be the Worx.
Nope any coupler should work!
Hi, thank you for the video.
The nozzle is better then the nozzle that came original with worx?
The pressure is stronger?
It does not add any additional pressure, but it does add more flexibility to the tool. It helps you get into harder areas because of the pivoting feature. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching!
CarNewba Detailing where can I buy that movable nozzle? Thanks
Hey jack! The link to the movable nozzle can be found in the description of me first review of the hydroshot! Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/Kh9VQxagZK4/v-deo.html
I did notice that the nozzle used in the video does spread the water better compared to the tip that comes with the hydrolock. The hyrdolock tip looks as though it spits the water out so more water needs to be used..
Washing a car incorrectly can be devastating, highly recommended this great video for every beginners!
Btw, I want to buy meguira’s ceramic wax, do you think I can use it as a drying agent? Thanks.
Yes you can, and thanks for the support!
CarNewba Detailing Thanks indeed!
Where do you get that tip for the works pressure washer?.
Amazon
Where can I buy the elbow of the gun?
Worx
Hello.. what model Hydroshot is that? The pressure and water is quite good
1st gen hydro shot with the regular 20v battery
Should get a soap dispenser and why not use the leaf blower to dry your car?
Soap dispenser as in a foam cannon? And your more then welcome to use a leaf blower to dry the vehicle.
Very interested in the nozzle youre using.... Care to share?
Hello I hope you enjoyed the video, and yes I'd love to! The nozzle is referred to as a Quick Connecting Pivoting Coupler. I included a link in the description to my previous video review of the Worx Hydroshot. The attachment transforms the tool! Here's the link to the video description: ua-cam.com/video/Kh9VQxagZK4/v-deo.html
Thanks bud.
Keep on hearing ONR ? What is it?
Optimum No Rinse otherwise known as ONR is a no rinse wash that provides individuals with little to no room or water sources to wash there vehicles. Check out my video describing the product, how to use it and also its results! ua-cam.com/video/ORyX5dKK6UA/v-deo.html
@@48Detailing can you do video on ultima waterless wash plus.. getting many youtube videos now on that. Provide ur fair review and also any products which are cost effective for single use consumer guy like me.
The product looks very similar to onr, but it is by far the more expensive choice of the two. Ultima comes in at $20.99 for 16oz while ONR is $20 for 32oz. So value for money ONR is a better option up front. Also I have noticed that you need 1oz of ultima for every 3 gallons of water, while ONR recommends 1 oz for every 2 gallons of water. But still I don't see that making up for the lack of product providers for the price point. I'll try my best to get my hands on a bottle, but from what I see upfront ONR is a better option when it comes to value and also comparing it to some other products results as well.
Where did you find the angle attachment for the Hydroshot?
Hello and thanks for watching! You can find the exact link regarding the angle attachment in my previous videos description! Heres the link ua-cam.com/video/Kh9VQxagZK4/v-deo.html
I believe that the attachment really adds alot to the tool!
U try the 40v hydroshot?
No I haven’t!
Its great especially with a turbo nozzle. Although i dont see Worx pushing it no more. Wonder if they still sell it.
Ya I honestly haven’t used it in a while since I got my full mobile set up and my shop!
How long does the battery last on the works washer?
30 min or so
Optimum no rinse followed by Wrox Hydroshot with distilled water (air drying), would be the easiest.
Another great wash method! I wanted to go over something more traditional for the beginners out there 👍 thanks for watching and the comment!
Carnewba, I have some questions? Your title of this video is "How to Detailing a Car for Beginners". I am not a professional detailer, but your title should have been "How to do a maintenance wash"? Your title is misleading? When I see detailing a car, I think of strip washing, mechanically & chemically decon., polishing, waxing & applying a sealant. Also, I wash the wheels second when I do a detailing, first I wash the engine bay. I noticed you use ONR as a drying aide, which is fine. But, as you may know, you can wash the entire car with ONR and skip the traditional wash. It will save time, water, & money, especially if your doing this for money?
a lot of extra work
hands do not need if there is a device
he is washing a clean car. wtf?
