    Ah !! That’s lucky I watched this, because I’ve just bought one and I’m going to use it tomorrow, I was going to put 100% snow in the bottle with a no water mix !!! Also I have no main water supply, so I have to use the large water bottle option, I will let you know if your interested ?

      Hi, although worx have literature that states no need for pre dilution of foam always follow the manufacturer of the snow foam you are using for best results, I did experiment with different dilution and found neat autoglym to be very little noticeable difference to diluted. might be a bit subjective it should not make much difference if it is using a mains tap, bottle or pick up hose, mainly thanks to its filters and unique suction method. But please do let me know, worx products are all about community and sharing findings about different ways to use them.

    Well I never. I honestly didn't think the worx foam cannon would be good. You've proven it is. I'm going to get one. Thanks 👍

      I will be honest, neither did I! I wasn't expecting a foam cannon more a foam pea shooter, I will say the more concentrate you add the thicker the foam, but the manufacturers instructions should always be followed for the best results :-) twice as much certainly isn't twice as good.

      @@mikesptworld I used to have a karcher k2 but got sick of the size of it and the hose was too stiff and the power cable all just got to me. I did however after watching a UA-cam video bought a dedicated foam cannon and the soap the guy used. He used warm water and I followed suit. The results were excellent. But now I have the Worx WG620E but was wondering about a foam cannon. I got in touch with who I bought my existing cannon but they replied they don't do adapters. So after watching your video I've ordered the Worx cannon but I will use warm water and the soap I have (can't remember which it is). Thanks again m8

      Any time my friend :-) The warm water should help create a frothy foam that stays longer. The warm foam helps the foam bubbles rise and seperates the magic goo in the soap :-D (same way using warm water with washing up liquid helps make bubbles - cold water still works but not as well)

      It's not good. Pressure washer is to weak to clean dirt off after snow foaming. Need to use sponge to make it works otherwise stay dirty. When I use same foam with 240v jet wash does the job. I'm sending back my Worx Hydroshot because is complete useless 👎

    You dilute the soap in water. However in the official product page, in the FAQ section it states: "Do I need to mix soap or the cleansing agent with water in the container before using?"
    "We made cleaning easier by taking out an extra step! There’s no need to mix soap or other cleaning agents in the Soap Dispenser before using it. The water from the Hydroshot will mix with it as it dispenses.".
    What gives?

      @mikesptworld  Рік тому +1

      Ooooooh! Conflicting instructions :-) I will have a look and see which one over rules ;-) in my personal usage it makes no difference between neat and 3:1 mixture or at least I didn't think so, though I do find temperature affects it much greater than viscosity seems to.

    Is there any way to remove the connector to washer and replace the internal orrifice from standard to a 1.1mm one for better foam results (IE it reduces the water flow to enable better foaming)?

    • @mikesptworld

      Hi, the end orifice is fixed and although the end nozzle does appear to have a clip to remove it, it doesn't budget indicating to me it is not designed to be removed.

    Is there a aftermarket foam bottle that fits on the WORX hydro shot nitro?

    Great vids ty. So I just bought a Yardforce Aquajet. But changed my mind because the base model hydroshot seemed to be a better choice.
    But then came the Q, is the nitro version a better choice than the base model?
    Your vids helped me decide. I have had brushed tools burn out on me on day 1.
    Brushless,
    Battery enclosure ipx rating, inexpensive and wide range of attachments,
    Hosepipe ban proof
    Improved performance
    Unfortunately though, the snow foam cannon is out of stock and the amazing rotating brush you used doesn't seem to be listed on worx, or available 3rd party sellers anywhere,
    Can you use any 3rd party snow foam cannon on it?
    Either way, I reluctantly pulled the trigger on the nitro, but feel good that it might serve me well for a good few years.
    Hoping the cannon is only temporarily out of stock, and idk if the rotating brush will make a comeback or not. Hope so!

      Hi and thanks for the questions, the nitro version- wg633 is the latest highest power brushless 2.0 powered machine and is really quite powerful, It won't strip paint but it will remove all but the most stubborn of residue with ease, I was removing dried paint splashes the other day from my wolf garten outdoor broom and it bought it up like new, it appears a lot of the hydroshot accessories are currently out of stock most accurate place to check is the official worx uk website uk.worx.com here they have all your goodies and they tend to have the latest products here before anywhere else too!

      @mikesptworld Hi! Thanks for your reply.
      Wondering if the 20v 2ah powershare battery fits into the nitro. It looks as if the battery indicators on the 20v 2ah powershare battery are on the opposite end of the battery to how they are on the 4ah version, which doesn't seem right.
      Also, do you know if the 20v 2ah powershare battery can be charged in the 20v 2.0A capacity WA3880 charger that comes with the Nitro?
      (I had bought the 20v 2ah worx powershare battery as a back up to the bigger 4ah that comes with nitro)
      Thanks if you can shed any light! 🙂

    • @mikesptworld
      @mikesptworld  Рік тому +1

      Hi, all 20v powershare batteries fit the worx tools including the hydroshot 1.3ah, 1.5ah, 2.0ah, 2.5ah, 4ah, 4ah pro, 5ah Pro & 6ah (and even the 8ah - when / if it ever gets here) though for the wg633 I reccomend A 4ah pro battery as they are rather juicy, you can still use 2ah even the older type with the 3 battery bar indicator (even though you can't use the indicator as it is at the wrong end of the battery) you can use any charger with any battery just some may take longer than others.

    Hi just a quick question did you use a mains hose connected to the hydroshot or was it fed from a bucket, just wandered if you get a decent foam from the bucket as I have no access to a mains hose . Thanx

    • @mikesptworld
      @mikesptworld  Рік тому +2

      Hi, thanks for the question, and a very good one too, in the video I used a mains hose for convenience of an unlimited supply of water, though this has no difference on affect of the performance of foam or any of the other accessories for that matter, though I suspect it may have a minor effect on run time - though this will be in the realm of seconds less rather than minutes.

      🎶and these are all of my favourite things🎶 Honestly this is the most awesome way to clean your vehicle, whether it is using it in the middle of nowhere with a Jerry can or somewhere with a mains hose this is a guaranteed best combination, may I add the small brass sprinkler attachment as it gets rid of residual bubbles without agitation and creating more bubbles, I reccomend using autoglym polar range of foam process cleaning as I have good experience using it and can say it worx best compared to other brands, you don't have to use the polar seal but the polar blast initially and polar wash is a great duo collaboration to help get the results you not only want, but need and deserve.

    Thanks for this I just got the whole kit and was looking at the soap bottle like do I stick the whole soap in there or add water 🤣 the instructions you get don’t make a lot of sense even putting it together I had to google what to do.

    Thanks to your video I have bought the hydroshot and polar blast! I am now tempted to buy the autoglym snow foamer because of its larger capacity. Would that fit the hydroshot 630e?

    • @mikesptworld
      @mikesptworld  Рік тому

      I very nearly bought one and did a comparison but I was equally was unsure if it fitted, I believe it will but I also believe that the autoglym foamer is designed for higher powered pressure washers, although it is adjustable I personally prefer to use the worx soap bottle dispenser as it worx (pardon the pun) and surprisingly well too, as for the small bottle I would reccomend making up a jug and using a funnel to top it up as required if not a jug a small pop bottle may help to fill it up to the required level?
