Im a detailer who have nearly 10 years of experience, i am very close to having a contract with polestar, in the southshore of montreal, this would be life changing for me literally, i would detail 3-5 cars a day 100-110 for each car you do the math, i am so excited and im coming here to see what type of skills i can get in my arsenal because i want to be as efficient as i can, if i clean more than 3 cars a day i will have to hire employees, and its a growing company, the director or the new dealership is almost my bestfriend i got his back he got mine, im always there so he vouched for me at the big bosses and they are willing tobgive me the contract they just have to ask the guys thats already there if they want the contract but it might be too far for them, i have my car all my equipments and im ready to rock, just waiting on them.
Nothing is 100% but i just wanted to share. I would literally make twice the money im making right now. And by the look of it, im probably gonna make more than 3 cars a day, the bank is going to explode if i get it. Im so excited man i had to Share it.

Well done for the hard work in cleaning high value cars, I use my local hand car wash who only do half the job and I usually have to finish it off myself when I get home, I know how physically tiring it can be to detail wash a car inside and out and then clear up.

It didn’t look like you use grit guards in your buckets, (any reason for that?) surely that leaves a bigger chance of grit scratching the paint? Plus you appeared to do the bottoms of the panels at the same time as doing the panels as you worked around the car with the same mitt! I always leave the bottom 6 - 8” of the entire car until after all of the panels have been done & use a seperate mitt and scrub the mitt over the grit guard after every panel bottom.

    • @crushbent
      @crushbent Місяць тому

i don’t use grit guards. i think they’re unnecessary. especially if you grind your cleaning medium against them on the bottom of the bucket where all the dirt will be kicked up. i personally just rub my sponge with my hands.
also he seems to have a red mitt for his upper and blue mitt for lower panels. i do a similar process to yours though.

He made mistakes such as spraying window cleaner openly, inside of a 80k+ BMW G80 M4. He also did not use a proper barrel brush for the wheels since he did one that is too tough on black gloss paint. I’m 14 and I understand what he did wrong, he does this as a living… This should explain why this is the entirely opposite of what you say and why his services are overrated.

If I use the ceramic snow foam and rinse it off with water, would I run the risk of damaging my twisted loop drying towels? I avoid getting them in contact with any type of ceramic/siO2 products but it just seems so convenient to do your wash, like a drying aid and short-term coating in 1 step. Thank you.

Out of curiosity, correct me if I'm wrong, but first you used some sort of degreaser in your pump sprayer, then your pink snow foam wash is more of a high pH wash to further remove bug guts, debris, and as many surface contaminants out of the paint as possible? By the time you apply your ceramic wash, that's just to quickly apply the ceramic...as the vehicle is already clean after the contact wash? Just trying to understand the process. Thanks!

I get my cars detailed in Cornwall and it’s fascinating to see attention to detail you guys have and the lengths you go to to errr detailing the car!! 😂
I was mostly impressed with your ceramic snow foam! Both of my cars have ceramic coating applied and it’s awesome to see water/rain beading off the body work and the windscreen, but nonetheless having ceramic foam is great! May get that sometime in the dare I say near future 😂
Also noticed you dried the car with towels first and then you used a blower. I tend to use the blower first and then towels to wipe off any droplets. Is there a reason why you used towels first? Just interested really.
    Thanks in advance.

Spray the glass cleaner on the rag and not directly on the glass as it oversprays onto the car paint. Even if you wipe it up afterwards it's not a good idea for glass cleaner to make contact with car paint, glass cleaner's abrasive nature can gradually degrade paint

@@PolishedMobileDetailing503 It doesn't change the principal of what I'm saying. It's bad practice as a detailer to not spray glass cleaner on the towel first. Even if the cleaner is ammonia free or free of any abrasive chemicals, I don't know why you would want to spend more time cleaning up the overspray. The comment is meant to be constructive criticism, not to pick on Tino. The popular car detailers I watch like The Detail Geek all say to do this as well, and they spray glass cleaner on the towel first.

I have a water tank in my van. However in your situation, I would suggest placing the pressure washer near front of your house, then get a long garden hose which you can pull to the front and connect it to your pressure washer. If the new garden hose is still too short, you can also use a connector tool to connect it with your old hose.

Interesting that you didn’t use the foam cannon for the hand wash. Same for me.

Here in Germany you might face a fine up to 20.000 Euro If you wash a car with chemicals on the road or private property. Reason for this is that the groundwater will take severe damage.

@@ronkumar1093 Thats not a real issue here. Only the high energy industries like iron casting might move elsewhere. We are doing just fine without Russia 👍

Great job, can I ask an odd question... What is the hose that you use,?I have a pressure washer, but have the "normal" hose which came attached and is a bit of a nightmare, hard to unwind, hard to roll up and rather stiff, yours seems much more pliable and more like a "normal" unpressurised hose.
