I'm more in love with my car after watching these videos
This happened to me today at around the same speed while I was at a red light. I didn’t even get a neck pain and I was the only one who didn’t had his car towed or went into a shock or had a concussion. This car seriously is crazy the other nissan who got rear ended as well was totaled and it’s axle was totally destroyed while the cops told me that if I want I could be totally safe driving home. With the impact of the crash my car turned almost 150 degrees or so and the only problem was the gentle pull towards left while I was driving on the highway trying to get back home.
Finally somebody is showing the results of a rear crash test!!! Thank you!
what about third seats conditions? that is what my kids use.
Very good results. Looks like seat backs held up well
I am looking at these videos to see check out the seat backs, as well! I would not buy a vehicle where the seat leans too far back in a rear-end collision.
I just got a 2020 as a company car .. nice to see that they are safe.
The result is obviously great, rear passenger area is protected well.

How does the third row look?
I have this car and was rear ended pretty hard, hardly any damage to the vehicle but the impact definitely caused a whiplash. I was feeling crazy why I am in pain when there’s very little physical evidence. The car that hit me is pretty bad though.

Are the air bags disengaged?
The airbags only go off in the section of which the crash was e.g. in this test the frontal airbags should not go off because the impact was in the rear but, if the impact was frontal than the front airbags go off.
