- Con el Tiguan Allspace hemos obtenido un buen resultado en la maniobra de esquiva, si bien en algunas ocasiones las reacciones han sido algo bruscas por la baja intrusividad de las ayudas electrónicas. La velocidad máxima fue 79 km/h.
El Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace es una variante del Tiguan con una carrocería más larga (mide 4701 mm en vez de 4486 mm) y siete plazas en vez de cinco. Está a la venta desde 35 655 euros.
Los 21,5 cm de incremento de tamaño, que se reparten entre el voladizo posterior (10,5 cm) y la batalla (11,0 cm), dan como resultado un habitáculo un poco más amplio en la segunda fila de asientos (aunque las diferencias no son demasiado abultadas) y un maletero 165 litros más capaz (tiene 685 en total, según el método VDA). Además también permite la instalación de una tercera fila de asientos de dimensiones reducidas, un elemento que es de serie en España pero opcional en otros paises.

The Tiguan passed the test with 79 km/h and failed 80 km/h. The thing that I don't understand is during first 79 km/h test, right side front, and rear tires were on the air but they were on the road during 80km/h test.
Another thing is, some cars pass the test with same km/h. But the reactions of the cars are different. There is a difference between easy to manage 75 km and difficult to manage 78 km. Maybe because of these reasons, EuroNcap and iihs don't have moose test in their examinations.

the car has a high center of gravity since it’s a tall suv, it has more weight on the front wheels, the bodyroll is significant, so it doesn’t handle very well for sure but the ESC is setup to optimize the trajectory for this test. The more esc kiks in the slower it goes through the corners
What I've spotted and compared with other moose test video, One can see the when drivers is again turning right the safety cone are extended to provide more room to correct and prevent hitting the first left side cone. Strange! Pls correct me if I am wrong, Could be I missed something.

Same weight as toyota rav4 hybrid ~1700kg
Vw has lower weight on the rear so it has better grip on the rear when using the same tires (however once it looses grip the rotation becomes more violent because the center of gravitiy is on the front and it rotates around it)
But toyota has poor tires and narrow profile so it looses grip. That’s to prevent rollover
Vw pushed the limits and fittedd max performance tires but you can see the car almost rolled over because suv’s have high center of gravity

No sé porqué no han hecho lo mismo que con el Tiguan normal, creo que es mejor opción para un coche de este tipo.
La misma razón por la que se agrava el sobreviraje a mayor velocidad... aún está frenando la rueda delantera externa de la curva... lo cual no ayuda para que doble, todo lo contrario...

Add more structure to the back of a car and it'll perform worse than the shorter-bodied car on the same chassis. Doesn't look like VW did much tuning with the ESC for that extra weight though, so it was free to swing around the back and make it oversteer and bounce.

Es brusco, sí, pero también hacen la entrada a 79km/h. Con el Cayenne no consiguen superar los 76 km/h: ua-cam.com/video/WrSv-9XT4WY/v-deo.html y no hablemos de cómo se mueve la trasera. En el X3 no consiguen pasar de 74km/h: ua-cam.com/video/eXg0-Yz3OuI/v-deo.html. Estaría bien que tuvieran una cámara interior para ver la sensación interior y cómo se siente al volante.

Y luego va un 5008 y lo deja "casi" en bragas...me hace mucho que pensar...y por lo visto, no siempre la opción más cara es la mejor...a la vista está. (mala comparación, pero el 5008 es un 4x2, más barato y fíjate el control que hay en todo momento, sin elevación de ruedas.
En la prueba de 79 km/h da la sensación de que va a volcar

duszaniespokojna haha no właśnie sam się zastanawiam ;) Swojego A6 jeszcze w ten sposób nie testowałem, bo nawet warunków do tego nie mam, no i poza tym lepiej, żeby zrobili to profesjonaliści tak jak w tym teście :)

Faster in the entrance, but slower in the exit and with a worst behavior. I think that doesn't mean better.
It means that if you have to do a real-life moose test faster than 76km/h with a Cayenne you crash against any object that is off the limits of this test area. Nothing clearer than that. Tiguan jumps and looks not safe, but does not crash.
Sportier cars have a lower esc setting so that it kicks in later and lets you do the work so you can be faster. The brakes also heat up if esc works all the time. If you brake after the second turn you can enter the same speed as the tiguan anyway. At the first two turns you don’t have time to brake but then you do.
apinto112 no, because you can brake after the first two turns just like the tiguan does by itself. The cars would do very similar except the esc setting and the body roll. Tiguan has much bodyroll which is dangerous at above 100kph and has a higher esc setting.
If you notice there is braking but cayenne doesnt brake
Actually ford edge and escape handled this test...in very good level.

I saw another videos of "moose test" with different cars which has a problem with it (jumping two wheels) for example reno stepway, and I think this test (VW) is same and not give us a realistic picture. Not a long time ago I saw a video (ua-cam.com/video/XoEKB0OKKVE/v-deo.html) where some russian guys tried to repeat same test with car coup (reno), and disprooved the strange "jumping" behaviour. They showed that same behavior could be get due to low pressure in the tires . So I thing it would be good idea to show us full video from tire condition and then the "moose test" in one action without cuts from one camera and then show the other views.

El control de estabilidad actúa súper tarde!!!! Se ve la rueda delantera izquierda casi bloqueando cuando gira a la derecha y debería dejarla libre para que el coche se pueda meter por donde el conductor lo manda!!!
