Holy shit that’s a sick intro animation
This really feels like an actual documentary, from the intro, to narration to how you deliver each line. I absolutely love the effort put into this. You deserve every view.
@@Mad_Hamz thanks man! I made 2 other episodes that cover the first 2 years!
The intro animation was beautiful, and gotta appreciate Nate's Theme from Uncharted!
I'm still holding hope that well get some sets due to The Great Circle coming out soon
Oh my God that intro was an unexpected nostalgia trip
So sad to see this series come to an end, but at least the theme ended on such a high note. Also shoutout to Bridget for the amazing art in the intro, I actually thought it was some old concept art from Lego or something at first 😂.
Thanks Simeon! Bridget did an absolute incredible job with the art work!
I think there's a good chance that we'll see more sets in the 18+ style like how they are doing with Lord of the Rings. Surely there must be enough demand.
I don't know what they were thinking only releasing 3 sets with 2 being from 1 movie. IDIOTS!
Great series of videos, I really hope we get more Lego Indiana Jones in the future as it’s my all time favorite Lego theme as well. It really is frustrating that we may never get it again.
It’s still a crime that we didn’t get the Temple of Doom set. I was looking forward to it the most out of the whole wave, which is probably why it feels so complete. Either that or the fact that we didn’t get any Crystal Skull or Dial of Destiny sets either.
I want a new version of the Last Crucade bike scene. The car is nice, but it would be even better with the sidecar motorbike right next to it.
So cool to see you use my design for Indy for 77014 that I made with Orbital! Glad you like it, and great job on the video. I've made tons of other designs for modern Indy figures if you want to see more from what could have been
@@connorgrewal5885 I originally had a few lines in the video about how much I want to collect the rest of the ToD modern figures! Hope some of them release soon!
@@Chatter_Blocks I've currently made Shorty and Mola Ram, as well as some Thuggees. Not sure when I'll work with orbital again, but we both want to do more!
@@connorgrewal5885 I am dying to get Shorty and the Thugees! please let me know on instagram whenever they go on sale! I really enjoyed the fact that Orbital is pad printed as well! So if Mola Rom is done by orbital I'll probably buy him as well.
The Temple of Doom was going to be a day 1 buy for me. Ended up getting the two cheaper sets. Nicely done on this.
That intro is FANTASTIC, great job!
Thank you!
This guy sounds like Jedi Bob
@@stormie909 never met him!
Took the words right out of my mouth! 🧐
This was such an awesome finale to your retrospectives! Very well done. Loved the intro as well as the overall quality and effort you put into these. I give this series 5 out of 5 Bobs
That intro was INCREDIBLE
@@DamianCaelenTM thanks!
Out of all the sets we got, from the first and second waves back in 2008 to this wave, I’m so surprised we never got the circus train from last crusade. Kid friendly enough. Exclusive child Indiana Jones minifig. Iconic scene. So many moving parts in the scene that could be turned into play features. They really missed that opportunity. One of the coolest sets they could’ve made from these movies, and they wasted time and work on a set that would never release. What a shame. I owned all the sets back then besides the temple of doom and the last crusade planes. As a 10 year old with only an allowance, I was so into Indiana jones. I’m glad we got another wave, especially with updated figures, but it really feels like they just made them for the movie then could care less about the license. I was there at the Lego store when the new sets released. Sold out in less than 30 mins at the Arundel Mills Mall in Maryland. Shocked we never got more.
Absolutely phenomenal
The amount of care that went into this series is seriously amazing man. Lego Indiana Jones will always be my favorite theme of all time and I appreciate so much that you took the time and love to really go all in on every little detail about this theme! Hope to see more of old themes!!!
Thank you! My entire reason for returning to making LEGO youtube content was the want to make a full retrospective of the LEGO Indiana Jones theme! It's my favorite theme and it doesn't get enough love!
Awesome video man, wish we could have gotten more from the line but these were fantastic sets
If there is one set I'd get from this wave, it would probably be the Well of Souls set, considering it's an excellent remake of the Lost Tomb set that I had when I was a kid in 2008/2009. It just made me feel nostalgic. Outside of LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones is the GOAT of licensed LEGO themes.
The Uncharted 4 intro homage is fantastic ❤
thanks! Love the Uncharted franchise.
Now I need Lego to make more Indiana Jones sets not just because I want more sets, but because I need more great videos like these too
That’s such a nice compliment! Thank you!
That intro was amazing, that was spectacular, chefs kiss!!
Referencing Uncharted with Indiana Jones is such an amazing idea that works so well, good job!
@@AbdulMuhimin-uj1orthanks! Uncharted and Indie are both of my favorite franchises
Johnny Thunder shoved up in Lego City... Indiana Jones retiring, leaving void behind... May the Adventurers rise from their grave!
19:53 stop stop he’s already dead 😭
Nice intro!
the original temple escape is my favourite set of all time, waited 15 years for the theme to return only to give us three sets...
I finished the new game (100% in 43 hours) and the Golden Idol set (the game's opening/tutorial scene) back-to-back.
The game got stellar reviews. Bought the set in a december sale: 106 euro.
Rip lego indiana jones. Loved that intro!
I’m glad I picked up all three at retail cost before the holidays. People are already trying to sell the Temple set for over $250.
Awesome art Bridget
I love lego Indy as it’s my favourite lego line period, ever since my first set back in 2008 just being 7 years old I then eventually went onto collect them all throughout the years and still have them built on my shelf, they are so nostalgic all these years later and also the games, and I do hope we get a new game in lego Indiana jones 3 with All 5 films redone, kinda like lego Star Wars the Skywalker saga.
@@BRONZALiVE it would be nice but unlikely
Great to hear Uncharted for the amazing intro!
I dont even buy sets anymore for the most part. I only care about the minifgures so I just bricklink the ones I want when I feel I have enough cash to justify it. Have risen my Lego Superheroes collection from about 30 to over a 130 in the last year as a result, 67 different Marvel characters, and 66 different DC characters. Thats not even counting different variations of the same character such as Batman or Ironman.
@@KKingTy03 the minifigures are worthless without the sets to go along with them in my opinion
@Chatter_Blocks I personally don't care much about sets, I don't have room to display them and whenever I do buy the actual entirety of a set I usually dump the pieces in my Lego bin. Due solely to my own personal interests it saves me money to just buy the Minifigures I want outright in bulk whenever I find the right bricklink store, rather than going the whole mile and buying a set I'm not gonna use for just a couple or even one minifigure I'm interested in. Apart from printed pieces Minifigures are the only thing that is truly exclusive to a Lego set since you could just as easily build any set you want by simply downloading the PDF of whatever instructions you need and building it yourself out of your own pieces. That's the beauty of the Lego bin imo. Can make what you want from imagination, or build whatever set you want so long as you have the right pieces, plus then you got the Minifigures to go along with them.
Amazing content! Well done 👏
Absolutely phenomenal video!
loved your video, mate.
I appreciate the Uncharted music (cause there's no way Disney would let you use the films' main theme)
@@alangreen5220 haha absolutely! I love the uncharted games though anyway
we got a Lego enemy soldier from modern Lego before GTA6.
Really nice ominous Uncharted music! I feel like people don't get that Uncharted is just as interesting. LEGO should get the license to make some sets for Uncharted. But you using iconic Uncharted music is a really good touch. The bew film was ok, I think it's way more of an epilogue to Crystal Skull. It ended at the Holy Grail but then they brought it back because people missed it for Crystal Skull. Now, Dial of Destiny is like DLC of an epilogue. I love all films in different ways. Dial of destiny is more of a look back to the past, ironically. Crystal Skull was made out of nostalgia. - Luke
@@BrothersWebOfficial yeah I agree 100% with this. Uncharted LEGO sets are my dream theme.
@Chatter_Blocks Awesome, man! I also just checked out part 2. I enjoyed that as well. Definitely sticking around. 🔒Subscribed 🔒 - Luke
You were there in the beginning, now you get to see how it ends.
Wow this series was truly epic, the content itself was great, but also the amount of detail and personal story behind it was just so good, before this series started I hadn't watched a single indy film now its one of my all time favorites. I want an indy set so badly now, if you were to only recommend ONE indy set, which one would it be?
Honest, Temple of Doom is my personal favorite Indiana Jones movie & I don’t care what anyone says.
I can only agree. It’s up there with Raiders in terms of iconic moments, and it’s a lot of fun. It’s still an unforgivable crime that Lego cancelled the set.
So it's not okay to show cultural insensitivity towards Indian people? That's fine. But it's oaly to make a minifig of Marion, a character who canonically had underage sex/was sexually abused by Indiana Jones? Nice and consistent.
Fantastic video and a solid send off to the theme. I have every single Indiana jones set sealed and it’s my favorite possession. Just so nostalgic
LETSSSSSSSSSSSS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I have two good ideas for new Lego Indiana Jones sets first up would be super easy. It would be Indiana Jones Lego Brickhead super easy for them to do second one is a Lego golden Idol from Raiders of the lost Ark. It would be really cool.
This makes me so sad man. I really hope the great circle manages to reinvigorate the franchise again but sadly I doubt it will. I definitely need to get my own temple of doom set tho
I am extremely excited for the great circle! Only wish we would’ve gotten a set based on it
awesome vids thx bro
This makes me so sad. I'm 27 now and like you, I grew up with the OG Lego Indy sets. I never got all of them sadly but when I heard it was coming back I was super excited. It really sucks that the Temple of Doom was cancelled because of political and ideological reasons by the overlords at Disney Lucasfilm and also the poor reception and bombing of Dial of Destiny killed the Lego theme, which meant that the remaining sets were cancelled.
It really makes so sad and heartbroken that because of the themes of war, violence, religion and biblical mythology that are essential to the Indiana Jones franchise meant that Lego can't touch the theme anymore. It just goes to show how times have changed.
Love the uncharted 4 inspired intro
Thank you!
Kids are watching much worse than an Indiana jones film nowadays, Lego are so stuck up 🙄 ( ps. LOVE the uncharted theme omg I wish they would make sets of that!!!!)
Edit: also crazy we got Lego luftwaffe before gta 6… ok I’ll leave.
I think it's very sad that Lego is so stubborn about their "no violence" rule, we could've had so many amazing sets if they just stretched their rule a little and went for the adult collectors instead. the theme really needs some good UCS-type builds, similar to how we got Lord of the Rings set years after the initial release.
What about Pirates of Carribean? or Star Wars?
Pirates of the Caribbean would be fantastic however it is extremely expensive. Star Wars is a whole can of beans that I would like to cover in chunks
LEGO Uncharted when tho?
LEGO Indiana Jones is my favourite LEGO theme with multiple releases (Simpsons is right up there too but the amount of releases here is significantly smaller) When I found out we would be getting a revival series last year for Indy, I was incredibly excited. I adore the releases we had but my greedy self wanted more as soon as I finished the builds. Love period piece settings in LEGO and loved the build methods and then Dial of Destiny released.... and that was it lol. No extra sets for the other movies, 2 sets based on Raiders and 1 set based on Crusade. Three movies skipped over completely. Some "revival" that turned out to be.
Turned to Hasbro for their action figures line instead then which also tragically ended before covering all movies but the variety is better within that line at covering a bit more grounds than the LEGO line did. Recently managed to get my hands on some of the older sets that I missed and my goal in life with toy collecting is to grab every LEGO Indiana Jones set released.
I am dying for LEGO uncharted... even if it's based off the movies :(
I agree... I hate that the "revival" lego did was basically nothing... however I am thankful that the 3 sets they did release were all extremely good in my opinion. I had the same goal to get every Indiana Jones set released and thankfully I was able to complete that goal. I have 2 other videos covering the first 2 years of Indiana Jones on the channel.
How did you make your intro animation?
@@legometaworld2728 I made it in after effects. I’m releasing a basic tutorial on it for channel members
I think if you’re going to bring back a classic line like Indiana Jones, it’s better to go all out than to do what Lego did and go half hearted with it all. It was a shame how it just came and went with a whimper.
They should have done more. Any sets for the new movie.
This was just disappointing
Hello I’m one of the owners of the voodoo dolls from the set it’s such a shame it never came out I was looking forward to it
thats a very cool piece to own!
The use of uncharted music here is… interesting
I like it a lot.
Always gonna be sad to never see the other Dial of Destiny sets irl. All Indy movies deserve love.
Dumbass lucasfilm left us without brand new Mola Ram figure with new helmet mold, other figs looked great too
What about STAR WARS? Do you have a bunch of HAN SOLO minifigs???????
Man.... fighterplane chase 4/5.. seriously?
@@michailaleksov2027 what would you have given it?
