Excellent video. I think Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is often forgotten because of The Complete Saga and Lego Batman 1. I've started doing videos on The Original Adventures.
LEGO INDY 1 BABY!!! WHOOOH!!!! This was one I played to death on my PS2 back in the day!!! *Until 2011/12 when RIP PS2* I was an Indiana Jones Fangirl a few years beforehand!!! This was so much fun between my Brothers and me, whether before my Aunt (who shares the name with my favorite Woman *who is my namesake here)* came over, friends, or with relatives not in the same country!!! My whole family are Fans of this Franchise to bits, including my mum's uncle who watched Radiers in Cinemas!!! This game was so fun and Iconic to the whole family, being our first Lego Console game and now when rewatching the movies, I notice things *I only watched Last Crusade beforehand at between 5-7 YO a few years before* 1 scene is where this Game puts a Minikit, I was smiling and clapping my hands when my history teacher put on Radiers and I felt like I was playing the Lego Game and that what I said!!! *This was in a girl History Class, and outside of my Teacher and myself and a friend everyone else wasn't prepared* And this was the game, not Complete Saga *Again not until 2016* that I got the other characters related to a Harrison Ford Franchise, and I knew they where Both Harrison Ford as a Girl!!! And as an Adult, still enjoyable!!!
This has to be the most underrated Lego game. I actually like this a lot more than Lego Batman which came out the same year. I really hope they re release on modern consoles (not holding my breath though).
It looks and play great in xbox Series S/X, no remake needed. Best Lego game. I have both Indiana Jones lego games and both Batmans and star wars lego games from xbox360 era and they all play like a new in newest gen xbox consoles
This is a great game! Indiana Jones & other Lucasfilm & Disney properties weren’t featured in Lego Dimensions (which you’ll likely never go over), due to Disney being strict about their properties, but I’ve using Lego Dimensions to create the characters from Lego Dimensions who’ve not appeared in any other Lego game and posting photos of them on social media. You mentioned that you’d recommend this game over the second which I agree with. I first played the DS version of it and then the Wii, PSP and PS2 versions all of which I sold. Then I got the Xbox 360 version which I enjoy! I have to point out that Jock wore a New York Yankees hat and Short Round wore a New York Giants baseball hat in the films. This one of a few main Lego games without Gold Bricks ever since they were introduced in Lego Star Wars II. Others include the first Lego Batman, the second Lego Indiana Jones game, both Middle-earth games and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Many of the gameplay elements in this game were featured in later Lego games which was also the case with the second game, the new features of which in the latter were better implemented in other Lego games. A split screen would’ve been very useful for this game. This was the first main Lego game where characters have pupils in their eyes. This, the first Lego Batman & the second Lego Indiana Jones would be the only ones to have characters with different colored pupils in their eyes other than just white. River Phoenix who played young Indiana Jones disliked flying and traveled everywhere by road vehicles or train. I wish this game allowed you to select any character you wanted during free play and in the hubs. The stud bar is also called True Adventurer in Lego The Lord of the Rings which also has treasure chests that show mini scale models. I think it would be hard to say how a Lego Indiana Jones game would be open-world.
@@matthewmcsweeney5996THX!!! And I know, Big Middle Earth Fan, my surname says so!!! Both these roles in Fandoms inspired my name here: Marion Ravenwood, Frodo/Bilbo Baggins!!!
@@QuickBrickGames I myself had only seen Raiders of the Lost Ark and the then-recent Kingdom of the Crystal Skull before I had initially played this game in June of 2008. I had received it as a gift for finishing 4th grade and elementary school by extension, but actually took a rather long time for myself to 100% it. In part because I had actually thought I'd encountered a glitch during the boss fight at the end of "Battle on the Bridge" or in the first level of the Last Crusade section, where Kazim's boat supposedly disappears. The artifact for "Escape the Mines" was the last one I completed to unlock the "Warehouse" bonus level to finally complete the game on April 11 of 2009.
Absolutely LOVED this one, though I always remember liking the 2nd one more for some reason, probably because of the level editor. Still it's good to see the original get some love, specially now, brings back lots of good memories.
Fun fact, the Pankot Secrets level is the only level in Lego history where you can get all 10 minikits during story mode. Sadly you can't get the red parcel unless you knew a glitch to exploit.
It's one of, not the only. Mos Espa Podrace (LWI/TCSDS), Gunship Cavalry (LWI/TCSDS), Battle Over Coruscant (LWI/TCS/TCSDS), Rebel Attack (TCSDS), Hoth Battle (TCSDS), Asteroid Flight (LWIIDS, TCSDS), Speeder Showdown (TCSDS), & Into the Death Star (TCSDS) also have all minikits accessible in Story Mode. These are all vehicle levels though, so it would be correct to say the only character level instead.
Which Harrison Ford Role do you people Prefer out of Star Wars or Indiana Jones: The Smuggler - Han Solo or The Archaeologist Indiana Jones aka *his birth name* Henry Walton Jones Jr?!!!!
Thank you! I sorta have this series on pause right now, since each entry got less and less viewers. But I may continue it at some point in the future. Thanks again!

I never knew about that target in the final bonus level. Thx knowing this now I will be able to finally 100% this game.
Nice!

I think you can collect all of the minikits in Core Instability (Batman 2) in story
Can you do the Lego Batman the videogame one?

Lego 2K drive free on PS Plus as of today. You should do some streams.
I did one on Dec 15th!
