This game was so good and nobody ever talks about it. In terms of movie games, it was A tier. Original story, decent voice acting, nice variation of weapons and environments and challenging yet fun gameplay.

Dude I had my first hearthattack in this huge crocodile mission as a kid. It was intense as hell.
That level and the one with the flamethrower Nazis and alarms are the reasons I have anxiety 😂

I think as a kid the Kraken bossfight. Where if you mess up you get eaten by the Kraken. Seriously gave me a fear of big Octopuses.

It's a port from the Xbox/PC versions so it does have lower res textures and missing shaders. Usually PS2 originals have better graphics. Still doesn't look bad.
@@Cincy32 No graphical difference, they're still using native resolution even if it's emulated (which it seems to be).
@@Cincy32 It's not really. This is being played on PCSX2 native resolution. I have 15 years worth of experience with emulation and own PS2 original hardware. There is absolutely no difference between PCSX2 software renderer and real hardware.
This was legit one of my favorite original Xbox games, and to this day one of the few games I’ve ever 100%’d

If you enjoyed this game, you should check out the Buffy the Vampire Slayer game made by the same developer that made this game. It uses the same combat and gameplay this game has and it was actually pretty freaking good.

I never played this game but it actually looks surprisingly decent. The platforming seems to have a bit of that "early PS2-era" jank, but not too bad. The fact that you could pick up the bottles, shovels, etc. as weapons is insanely cool for a game that age. I honestly wish that more modern games let you use your surroundings like that.

This was my favourite game on Xbox growing up, my family use to watch me play it like it was a movie night hahah, amazing memories and it looked waaaaay better on the OG Xbox! The croc sections use to scare the crap out of me!

Thats because the original 360/PS3 game got cancelled, and we only got the adaptation from a another studio to PS2 and Wii or something

It's on Xbox backwards compatible they gave it free maybe a year ago.

Bro I love that game so much. Literally best adventure game I have ever played. Wish it was longer and had a sequel, but man it was fun as a kid. So bloody underrated as well I never hear anyone talking about it.

Dial of Destiny was Harrison’s idea btw. He wanted and encouraged a story where Indy comes to terms with his age, etc. So they weren’t milking him.

They actually have an Emperor's New Groove game for the PS1 i think.
This game is so solid. I just love how solid and visceral the combat feels. Something about the sound design and animation just makes every punch, grab and gunshot blast feel so impactful.

You can actually do whip grabs (wrap around enemy's neck) and pull them towards you, then punch them in the face. There are some hidden combos in the game. Very nice melee fighting system, always feels good smacking enemies around.
I sincerely hope you guys play more of this the later missions get really fun and interesting and the midpoint of the game in Prague is one of my favorite parts
I liked Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings on wii. It has clunky mechanics but it makes good use of the staff of moses during the finale in a really cool setpiece.
I heard the psp version is better.

I used to play this a lot as a kid. It's a shame they didn't use the punch sounds from the movie. But, other than that, it wasn't bad. Despite how challenging it could be.
