He never quite pierces into solidly Chaotic Evil ever. The closest he gets is the ding before the 15 Lawful Evil dings. And even that's on the border. After that point, Neutral Evil is basically guaranteed.
Something I always appreciated about Aku was his diversity in evil minions. Robot, monsters, magicians, insects, undead, he basically throws the entire Monster Manual at Jack!
Long ago in a distant land, I Aku the shape shifting master of darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil. But a foolish samurai warrior weilding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time, and flung him into the future where my evil is law. Now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future that is AKU!
At some point, you have to become Lawful Evil if your goal is to rule the world. With no law, there's no chaos. Without good, no evil. If when Aku took over, he set up no laws and everyone was free to do whatever they wanted regardless of how depraved it might be then its not evil, just the norm. If you want to be evil in a society, you rule there must be rules whether you follow them or not is up to you. Aku's goals are to rule the world and always be evil, which is why he fits nicely in Neutral Evil. Sometimes, he follows law. Other times, he doesn't all on pure whim.
Honestly didn’t. Kept counting things like hiring mercenaries, and for some reason mind control? Technically those are morally neutral by dnd standards, and they were pretty much always used for chaotic or neutral evil purposes. Also there's the comparative context of the alternative, e.g. siring a small army of daughters and raising them in an evil nunnery to become charcoal-skinned murderhobos, which is quite chaotic.
It makes sense when you rule over everything you need to switch to Lawful Evil to have some semblance of a society otherwise all you have is a Battle Royal world where everyone is fighting for survival which could be fun, but somewhat limiting in just how evil you can be. Honestly, if Aku were smarter, he would have sent Jack backward about 5 minutes before he fell to earth, killing him instantly once he did so. Problem solved.
I truly hate Samurai Jack's ending and I fully blame Ashy. The season was going so well until she came along. They spent whole episodes on a background-villian turned sidekick that ends up dying in the end anyway when they could've spent the time and resources on a good ending or flushing out plot points of actually beloved side characters. My favorite character The Scotsman and his whole side-plot was thrown into the garbage and rushed just to facilitate a redemption story turned love interest that didn't need to happen. Ashy stole too much spotlight time and caused the ending to be rushed. It'd probably be different if we had 2 seasons to end the series with, thus giving us enough content/time to fully flush out other plot-points AND develop an emotional bond with Ashy so her death actually meant something. But we only had the one, we didn't have time to bring a satisfying end to all the stories AND build-up a new character!
You know.... Bleach is pretty popular again... Maybe you can do someone from that series? Maybe a backstabbing no good squad 5 captain? Idk... Maybe Aizen fits those categories idk

You know since we're talking gendy tartikovski why not do spear and fang from primal?
You know.... Bleach is pretty popular again... Maybe you can do someone from that series? Maybe a backstabbing no good squad 5 captain?
Idk... Maybe Aizen fits those categories idk
