I give Sheldon Seymour a lot of props. He went out there against the #1 ranked guy and was taking some good shots. A lot of times you'll see an unranked go out and try to not lose and thus they don't do anything from neutral position. Seymour likely knew he was going to get mollywhopped, but still tried to wrestle his match. Well done.
That bow and arrow is a nasty move!! But that bar and tilt looked painful AF!!
Impressed with McConnagle. Wrestled Lee tough.

Lehigh fans are hoping McGonagle has a break-out year. This is his 3rd. year in the room.
I went to highschool with Sheldon! I’m so happy to him competing at this level
Sheldon is tough. He actually beat Jaret Lane in the public wrestle-offs, and Jaret is undefeated now and ranked.
Cool to see Mcgonagle starting his career. I saw him wrestle for a long time at the Lowell Holiday tournament and New Englands. Hopefully he can replicate the success Hamlin (of VT)
For sure one of the best wrestlers out of New England. Could see him break into AA status as a dark horse this year or next
All Penn State matches need to be televised live with Jeff "Ironhead" Byers providing commentary. That's how it should be.
I feel the same as an Iowa fan. Crazy that our meets rarely even make live television.

It was a mistake, but it wasn’t a bad mistake. Everyone is so used to calling Max, Gabe because Gabe was so good and Max has technically only been in the spotlight for 1 year and also think about how the guy has commentated more Of Gabes matches than Max’s

@@TM-dk8st I completely agree with you. It should typically lean towards awarding the offensive wrestler first. If bottom man initiates a defensive pinning situation, then he should be rewarded and the referee should be looking for the fall. In a tilting situation, the man performing the tilt should be initially favored and the referee should look for near fall first.

@@BTN Uh no, it has always been full duals. I'm a huge fan of big ten wrestling and have always seen full duals posted until this year.
When we posted full duals in the past years, it was after the season was finished. In season, we typically try and post the matches featuring Top 10 ranked Big Ten wrestlers.

The flu ran through them, they did pretty well considering how sick they have been.
Indeed, we have been suffering from the flu and have some guys recovering. You must've forgotten we have an NCAA champ at 184 and an all American at HWT waiting to come back.
I was wondering why they didn't look good. Flu explains it man. I wrestled a tournament the day after recovering and lost to a guy I had teched 2 weeks prior in the finals of a christmas tournament. Changes the whole game.
I don't see PSU keeping their high ranking this year. They are going to have a rough go of it in the BIG with their weak line-up.
Not extremely impressed with Penn State here. No way they will beat IA with the sloppy wrestling.
