Those potentially dangerous calls in Lee's match were really fast - it is clear someone told the ref to watch for that shoulder crank arm bar because that is how Lee gets most of his pins. Not sure I agree with how fast the call was.

It was cool to see Parsons connection to Spencer Lee, and the football coach at the match. All other sports know wrestling makes them better for their sports. When I coached, the football coach the next season would thank me, and say what did you do with him? He is so much better, and gets in to position before anyone else. One guy I coached did baseball. The first week of practice he came to me and said everyone on the base ball team is out of shape. I am running laps around them.

He had over 200 wins which was crazy, and multiple state placings making him the pound for pound wrestler in the section, and ranked #1 in the state for his weight class. I’ve seen him wrestle absolute studs back in high school and he used to just play around w his opponents without breaking a sweat. He’d get pins in like 15 seconds. Facundo's gotta go more. He's skilled & just has to believe in his offense. Curious to see how he does in the post season. 165 is stacked but if he can pull off an AA the future is bright. Coming in this match he had a #5 rank in a class with 3 natty champs, as a freshman. He's gotta wrestle like he belongs. He was too passive out there.

I just love watching fantastic wrestling! Extraordinary era right now and growth in our sport that needs to continue! I hope these young men understand this too b/c we didn't have even a tenth of this type of exposure for the best sport on the planet back when I wrestled! Well done and as expected; fantastic dual filled with future repeating National Champions! However, I'll say this...J.R. Johnson was way too quick on those whistles to prevent Lee from getting the pin(not that it would've mattered anyway though). Regardless, loved it; enough said!👏

Spencer Lee is a great wrestler. But the most dominant in a long time? I don't know about. He was taken down and put on his back earlier in the year, he was taken down last night. He's finishing guys but he's also exposing himself to a loss. You play with fire long enough you will get burned. I say he's not 100% or even close.
