BIG UPVOTE for forging this and not cutting it out of a sheet like 99% of anyone who’s ever made one.
yes no Klingon would respect that
I thought that they would plasma cut it for a template before forging it
Agreed. This weapon is truly worthy of a Klingon.
Ok SoupFork
yes I LOVED that!!!
You have brought great honor upon the House of Stag'Mer with your forging!
QAPLA'!
Always loved Star Trek, always love the Klingons. This was an amazing build!
Maybe a BIONICLE Toa Tool next? So many "weapons" to choose from!
Halo Canon Yes!
How 'bout some of the Nuva dual wields? Tahu's or Lewa's would be dope af and would 100% work irl.
ooooooh Halo Canon
Either Mata Kopaka or Lewa I guess. I personally like Tahu's flame sword, but that would be way to complex due to its shape
Kopaka's Ice Sword would be my vote. I think that would be the coolest to see. That or Matau's Aero Slicers.
the "Riker maneuver" at 11:00 was a real nice touch. well played gents.
Haha
I knew I wouldn't be the only one who noticed haha
I think we found our Drunk Shimoda for this episode
Sweet Riker maneuver.
"I will gently set the weld by hand" - Proceeds to hammer the ever-loving snot out of it like an angry Eastern European Dwarven Smith God.
Pretty much as we all expected.
Dam..... That's very specific detail and description.... I like it
Still gentle compared to a power hammer
yes exactly thank u
Kerry can you pls make Gandalf's sword
@6:33 It's called a scarf joint (or scarf weld). For people who want to research what he's talking about and why its important.
Also, that leg over the chair move was classic Riker, well played sir.
That's the real Riker Maneuver
And gently set the weld by hand. Then beats the fool out of it with a hammer.... love it. Yeah I get it there’s the relatively gentle hand hammer and then the not so gentle power hammer, but it’s still funny.
Yeah I laughed at that too.
Whitpusmc lol yes "gently"
Still gentle compared to a power hammer
8:38 - "And I'll gently set the weld by hand"
8:42 - *BANG BANG BANG BANG"
Big Boy that’s much more gentle than the power hammer.
Would love for the Man At Arms team to include the man hours these pieces take so we can fully appreciate the work that goes into these.

Something tells me they wont forge it
Sercan Güngör Probably won’t. Looks like they will do one characters weapon from each series.
Sad story...
But they have done 2 from halo 😭😭😭
Resolved Fate you are wrong. They already make Cloud's sword and Sephiroth's sword in the same FF series
I lost it when Riker "sat" down. Awesome Trek meme guys. Also this is easily one of the coolest forgings and grind work I've seen
That blade is awsomely beautiful! Thes guys can make anything come to life! Its like shaking fictional stories, and these weapons just fall out! Magical skills! Baltimore Knife and Sword Rocks!

Bro the title is wrong the real name is the divine axe rhitta
Legend has it that if you used Illya's hair to forge a weapon that weapon would be so powerful that it could channel the Bifrost and block a spin kick from Chuck Norris!
Earth is not ready for such power ;)
Michael Stott Little do you know that such a weapon exists. It’s codename is project: 66
Some say, Dwarven Smiths pray to him before they sleep so their next weapon becomes legendary.
ricardo1989 I have heard the great Dwarf Sindri who forged Mjollnir is subscribed to AWE me just for MAN AT ARMS videos ;)
i hear that too. epic
I would love to see you make one of these 3 swords from the video game Demon's souls. Demonbrandt, Soulbrandt, or their combination Northern Regalia. Thank you.

Arthur Devoz tbm quero ver essa arma sendo produzida por esse canal seria muito top.
Ilya is a master Crafts men I love to watch him do his thing he should be in that show Forged In Fire and School them all.
The Bat'leth is one of the best melee weapons ever created or ever used in the star trek universe.
I always love those patterns on the blades; beautiful work. Can you guys make the Dawnbreaker from Skyrim!?!?
A masterpiece created by craftsmen worthy of song. Even a paragon of klingon virtue such as Kahless himself would be honored to call this Bat'leth their own.
Divine Axe : Rhitta ... Escanor Nanatsu no taizai ...... UP IF U WANT
Wow. Give the sword to the redshirt? brilliant!
Escanors axe divine axe Rita please
Do Ecanor axe Rhitta

Well hello there number one!
I DIED
Infinity Gauntlet (Avengers: Infinity War)
Great job with the mightiest sword in Klingo history. I personally requested this sword and was pleased by the results. Qapla!
TRED the gauntlet is not a weapon
Yes it is. You can pound down the AVENGERS with it and wipe out half the universe all in one day. It's the ULTIMATE weapon.
I still say that it would be amazing to see the guys tackle another weird katana build. Like Mugen's sword from Samurai Champloo. It's dual-edged, there's a great Sai-type guard on it, and they could even build in the emergency Tanto into the tip of the scabbard. Why have one blade when you can have a dagger to spring on someone out of nowhere after they think they've disarmed you?
"We could just plasma cut it out, but that's not how we make the sword of Kahless."
Oh god, the shade, it's been thrown so far!
Is that because Ilya is a giant amongst weaponsmiths, bestriding the forge like a colossus?
No, it's because the original Man at Arms team used that process for almost all their weapons.
Oh I get you. An ideal example being their version of the Bat'leth. Still those were movie and TV accurate methods, given that the guy was one of the prolific makers of those, in the first place.
That Riker Maneuver was magnificent.
This episode was done really well! From the Riker maneuver to the reveal of that beautiful pattern weld etch, to the fantastic-quality Klingon cosplay, well done! This was better than your usual production value!
Ty Tonus-Burman thanks for the King words about the Klingon 😁
Arlongs Kiribachi from One Piece!!!!!! Please!! That Shark Teeth style sword is awesome!!!
Bonus points for capturing Riker's unique sitting down technique.
Groetgaffel
You mean the Riker Manoeuvre ... 😋

Make it so #1! REFORGE!! Excellent, Out Standing, and Fantastic Job! Super Epic Sword of Kahless! Thank you.
Do Dawnbreaker! Skyrim
I second this, by Meridia!
Great work guys! But won't you guys forge *Divine Axe Rhitta?* 95% of the comments 2 weeks ago were about Rhitta, is it too big of a challenge?
матфэй это сново я Саша can you make Gandalf's sword please
Matt Stagmer ah alright, thanks for telling matt👍
It’s just a bad weapon
MrJackthecracker do you really think about what you just say man!
I really dislike all of seven deadly sins, and the weapons are meh at best, that Axe has no many structural problems it hurts, I am sure they would make it look good TBH
Elven Claymore from TES: Oblivion - wouldn't be easy, but awesome.
Escanors's Axe from Nanatsu no Taizai or The Seven Deadly Sins

Escanor
escanor axe rhita
I love Star Trek, and I love Klingons. And I love your channel too!! So it's a triple delight for me to watch this video.
That Riker maneuvour was quite nerdy and hillarious.
Also I appreciate that you didn't went the short way around in making this sword.
As Picard would say, "You have my endless gratitude."
Yes the Riker move was unbelievable!
You guys still doing #AskABlacksmith? I have a question for Matt. In the Goodgame Empire build, you mentioned there was some sabering but I didn't quite follow how you fixed it while maintaining those lines with the central ridge. Could you go over that process?
Axe Rita from Deadly Seven Sins?
This was requested alot for the past few weeks now I think they are avoiding to build that :D
Indigo Montoya's sword that his father made for the six-fingered man!
Yes, please! I wanna see that.
I second this!
ua-cam.com/video/6JGp7Meg42U/v-deo.html

Really coool, i like it what u doing guys. Really impressing. Im not sure bt i didnt see any Starcraft from before. If its true, may next time can make an Protoss warrior twin handblade??
escanor axe
I'd love to see an episode where the roles are switched completely. That would be a challenge!
They have. Pirates of the Caribbean challenge episode. Ilya was in it but he was the judge so didn't do any actual smithing himself. Some of the stuff that was heavier on the machining rather than the forging like Poppy's hammer from League of legends have Ilya having little to nothing to that particular build as well.
It does happen, from time to time, when one of the crew have a pet project, and take the lead. In which case they will be doing the forging (or whatever technique is called for). If you see Ilya, it is in a support role. Say standing in for Matt, on the grinding.
Okay... Riker can't chair... Nerd cred checks out.
Good, good work, impractical weapon.
BRÜTAL
Completely impractical weapon, but gorgeous build none the less.
yes, all the sword experts i've heard talk about it agree it's a terrible weapon, but so intimidating it's probably going to save you from needing to fight.
I think it's not totally impractical. It can be used to block any attack and then cripples the opponent and disables. You don't want to be in it's way.
Except when your opponent has a basic understanding of swordfencing. Unless you can hook the opponents blade while he's asleep on his feet, you don't deflect more then one or two blows with this thing. By the second blow the nice leverage of the wide blades to your narrow grip makes it basicly impossible to keep the weapon where you want it.
Your opponent will not oblige you with long overhead swings or convenient sweeps from side to side - he will come from the center and batter the edge of your weapon away from your body so he can deliver a cut to your arm, belly or neck.
those aliens were not much different in body shape and number of arms and legs from humans, so being an alien weapon still not make it more practical
I've heard it mentioned that fighting with a batleth is very similar to fighting with a staff. It's a 2-handed weapon with a lot of reach and a lot of swinging motions, coupled with some jabbing motions. It requires a huge amount of strength to wield it quickly and accurately, but if you can handle it properly nobody with a normal sword can stand in your way.
In addition to it's reach and weight, the bladed ends and center can block as well as attack in a large variety of ways. Fully extended reach, it swings like a massive battle axe .... up close using your own center of gravity, it can swing back and forth like a pair of daggers or you can push right at your opponent with the center or one of the ends in a stabbing motion.
As said by many a Klingon ... "THIS IS A TRUE WARRIOR'S WEAPON!"
Make escanors axe pls
Escanor's Divine Axe Rhitta
Make the knife from subnautica
Divine Axe Rhitta plz
