As opposed to all the requests That was an absolutely gorgeous piece, you guys did an unbelievably amazing job on this. You've definitely come a long way from when you started this series; I'm beyond astounded. Thank you for continuing to make these marvels for us!
Dear kerry and matt stagmer, its my utmost humble request to you, please make the push dagger of bellatrix lestrange from Harry Potter. I beg of you. Ive been watching your shows since the beginning and eagerly waiting for this dagger
Wow, so much back-and-forth with the molds and casts. When making a series of swords it surely is relatively little effort, but for a single sword, that's intense. Definitely worth it though when I look at that super-impressive result.
You guys do INSANE amounts of research and work for these. Most people would just base it off of the movie model with cheap materials, but you read the information in the books, too, and used authentic stuff.
Illya's my favorite, he knows so many awesome skills and makes such mind-bogglingly beautiful work. When I realized that he was the winner of the spiked shield episode of Forged in Fire, it made me like him even more. Easily one of the most beautiful things on Forged in Fire. He's also Russian so that automatically makes him awesome. Such a skilled individual, I hope to one day learn at least half the skills he has mastered.
Knifemaker here, got a 5 month old beard, reason why i say 5 month old is because i burned it off along side with my left eyebrow and some eyelashes, it's a dangerous job if you're not careful!

Love to see the Firelink Greatsword from Dark Souls 3, the Artorius Greatsword was incredible, and I'd love to see if you guys could make a sword with such an odd shape like the Firelink Greatsword
actually yes they could because goblins know what a sword feels smells looks and belive it or not tastes like when its made by humans / muggles / wizards
There's just something therapeutic about watching this show. I watch this whenever I'm exhausted or injured and it just makes the pain melt away. It even helps with my PTSD. Either way, this one was amazing and I'm sure that J.K. Rowling would approve of this build!
airforce9872 Yeah... based on Matt's commentary, there's a lot of tension going around the shop. I wonder if something happened or if this is just plain old resentment.
that fact that he mentioned Ilya tells me he was just missing for this episode. They never said a word that Sam was leaving, so I think Ilya's still with the group. Edit: also, Ilya is still listed as master armorer in the description, so yeah again I think he was just out for the episode.

The work and craftsmanship that has gone into creating the Sword of Godric Gryffindor is amazing. For your next challenge how about both of Connor MacLeod's -- his Clan Sword and his sword he inherited from Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez -- or Kurgan's sword.
Hell Yes! Why didn't I suggest that? Crocea Mors is a beautiful weapon pair. I've built the shield and two of the sword for cosplay. It would be awesome to see them in real steel. Mine are only wood.
Myrtenaster would be incredible, yes. I would love to see Blake's Gambol Shroud as well, especially if both blades could actually slide into each other like in the show.
Ethan H. The Sword of Gryffindor absorves anything that makes it stronger, like Basilisk venon, never rusts, never loses it's edge! and it adptes physicly to the user, growning longer or shorter according to the user's heigh. For something that was made because he wanted to fight fair against muggles, I Think is magical enough
Sorry, elves were not the best craftsmen in middle earth, the best craftsmen were the dwarves... The only notable elf craftsmen was Celebrimbor, dwarves made the necklace with the Silmaril, they made Mithril and they were incredible weapon makers...
Not likely. Almost every Noldor crafting is better than Dwarven crafting. For example, when Thorin took Orcrist and left his sword, or even when they were already at Erebor, he still took Orcrist.
"Their smithcraft indeed the Sindar soon learned of them; yet in the tempering of steel alone of all crafts the Dwarves were never outmatched even by the Noldor, and in the making of mail of linked rings, which was first contrived by the smiths of Belegost, their work had no rival." - The Silmarillion
FableCountry more than likely it will be older comments from when they first decided to make it, not from newer videos when they are already making it (most likely anyway, the comment makes it seem like they are) BTW if you're trawling through the comments you are gonna see ive copy pasted this into a lot of peoples comments asking for this XD
Why do you care that this request was posted in earlier comments? When someone posts a comment he doesnt have to read through all the other comments just to see if this comment wasn't written before. Besides the more requests for something the more attention it will get. Also, you could have just said that there was already a comment about it and that it's in process instead of saying it like an ass...
For the 20th time, that's challenging from an engineering standpoint, not forging. The hard part would be figuring how to make something that's got 80 bajillion moving parts and acts as a scythe, gun, staff, blender and buttscratcher at the same time. Actually making it would be relatively easy, compared to the mammoth task of designing something like that.
+ SuperGamingeek Sam now works at Under Armour as their in-house blacksmith. Ilya is still a part of the team and we've added a few more members who are very talented. Thanks for being a fan!
I always thought it was weird that the sword of a legendary warrior like Gryffindor was puny enough to be effortlessly wielded by a malnourished 12-year old.
don't forget, wizards are accustomed to dueling with nimble little wands. It makes sense that epic-sized weapons would feel strange and far too cumbersome to wield in their hands. This is the logical explanation for the swords dainty size. Godric was chivalrous and carried this sword because if he ever had to duel a muggle, he believed it would be unfair and therefore dishonourable to use a wand. Basically, he used the 10th century "muggle's dueling tool" - the sword.
I'd like to see you guys forge some tools for your shop. You're always talking about how "if we need something we can just make it!" but I'd love to see that in action. Even if it's just a short Behind The Scenes thing!
Do a weapon build that viewers may be able to make?? Use something like a leaf spring and coal forge powered by a hair dryer and use an angle grinder for any cutting or grinding??? Would be awesome to see!!!!!!!
It's a small sword but seeing you guys use it at the end it honestly looks a lot more dangerous than some of the larger, heavier weapons that have been made on this show. lol
Jake Berango most ppl would like to see crescent rose but thats probably a really hard build even without the rifle. Myrtenaster is a more likely build, Gambol Shroud may also be a candidate
God, that's beautiful. Almost makes up for no Ilya. And on that note, this sword looks tiny compared to what I'm used to seeing in your videos. Just goes to show how much fun authors, gamers, and filmmakers like to have with weaponry.
Everyone is requesting more stuff but is nobody going to mention how beautiful this piece is?!?!? LOOK AT THAT DETAIL!!
Ikr?!
excalibur was the best sword they ever made tbh and the details ilya put into it was godly.
behold the horrocruxes destroyer
Yeah so beautiful details,so in love with this piece of art
Excalibur is by far the best sword they've made

syanide27 Same here man.
Anshul Mishra
how? they won't even be able to lift it.
I made a Chaoseater out of wood on my channel
Anshul Mishra since that would be too big, they should do Deaths Dual scythes and do the two different kind of methods when they make two weapons

Ruby's "Crescent Rose" scythe ! An amazing weapon !
1 kg of silver gets me thinking what's the most "valuable" blade these guys have made?
well they made one out of meteorite... while the material itself may not be too expensive buying meteorites whole like that...
@River Doherty Which build was that?
it was back like 3 years ago, it was sokka's meteor sword from avatar the last air bender.
They didn't work on it, the reforged crew are not Tony, Matt did make appearances when it was only Tony.
It was probably the kill bill sword. They used like 10,000 pounds of charcoal or something crazy like that to make the steel.

Not likely. Almost every Noldor crafting is better than Dwarven crafting. For example, when Thorin took Orcrist and left his sword, or even when they were already at Erebor, he still took Orcrist.
And who made the Silmarils? Feanor, firstborn of Finwe, and high king of the Noldor. And Eol made the blade that slew Glaurung.

That would actually be really interesting. I wonder if they'd make it out of actual bronze or if its too weak of a material for swords.
YES OMG!!
RiusTG bronze is actually pretty good for a blade, the forging process is what's different
Noah Gendron OH MAH GODS YASS
Maka's scythe / Soul from Soul Eater
Yes please
I think they already did it O.o
They did Blackstar's kama/ tsubaki
They did Tsubaki in Chain Scythe mode. They didn't make Soul in weapon form
I was going to address this but it seems Brian and Deadpool beat me to it
You guys do amazing work. I want to get into metal forging. You guys gave me the bug real bad.
Do a weapon build that viewers may be able to make?? Use something like a leaf spring and coal forge powered by a hair dryer and use an angle grinder for any cutting or grinding??? Would be awesome to see!!!!!!!
It's a small sword but seeing you guys use it at the end it honestly looks a lot more dangerous than some of the larger, heavier weapons that have been made on this show. lol
Saladin would say that it's not the size of the blade, or the strength of the arm that wields it, but how sharp it is that matters.
Yeah I know I'm kind of implying that idea.
PLS MAKE THE DAWNGUARD CROSSBOW
Like if you agree!!!!!!!!!!
Casper Ko dwarven one preferably
Casper Ko yesssss finally someone agreed with me
Well I mean 30+ likes got something going for ya :)
After re reading I realized that comment was not directed towards me and I apologize lol
Beautiful work on that handle! I'm curious if both sides were done, or just the show side.
djAnakin Thanks!, the handle, guard..ect, entire sword was indeed complete all around.
build the dark one dagger from Once Upon A Time, please
I agree
Yes!!!!!!!
Jiani Overkamp yes
Still waiting for a weapon from RWBY.
Jake Berango the only one they could do is Weiss rapier
Then do it!
***** Yeah, just without the opening and closing functionality.
Jake Berango most ppl would like to see crescent rose but thats probably a really hard build even without the rifle. Myrtenaster is a more likely build, Gambol Shroud may also be a candidate
i want crescent rose so bad
God, that's beautiful. Almost makes up for no Ilya. And on that note, this sword looks tiny compared to what I'm used to seeing in your videos. Just goes to show how much fun authors, gamers, and filmmakers like to have with weaponry.
Please make Rose's sword and shield from Steven Universe.
Josemaria Laguinge No.
Josemaria Laguinge YES
Why not?
Why not?
Oh yes I'd love to see Roses sword
I CALL UPON THE MEN AT ARMS! PLEASE...I BEG OF YOU TO BUILD....THE CRESCENT ROSE FROM RWBY! -a subscriber

I would love to see any sword made from Destiny.
Joshua Walters yes please!
Joshua Walters which one?
TJ Rich I personally like the Bolt Cast, but Young Wolf's Howl would be cool too.
The Ascendant Hive Sword or Knight Cleaver
Joshua Walters Young Wolf's Howl is the worst sword in tbe game, but it looks awesome.
