    I have been a vegetarian since I was 21 yrs old. At the age of 69yrs old people think I'm in my early 40's, don't dye my hair and I have so much energy.
    Back in the day, it wad rare being a vegetarian and vegan wad unheard of.
    I would have to go to the library to get vegetarian books which wad very little. I would have to make up my own dishes.
    Going to a restaurant I could only order a salad. Pasta always had meat in it and they would try to take it out which I rejected.
    I love the internet and all of the recipes thanks for being on here.

      Veganism is un-natural and not sustainable for humans. There has never been a vegan society in all of human history. If you want to take supplements and lie to yourself at least admit it.

    • @ChaNayNayAnime
      @ChaNayNayAnime 3 роки тому +2

      @@incelproud2670 ya know. I find it funny when people say that. Correct me if I’m wrong but there are a few major dietary associations that support a well-balanced vegan diet. It seems like scientific consensus is appropriate for everything except when it comes to vegan diet. Now you have may have your personal opinions but that has nothing to do with facts.

    • @incelproud2670
      @incelproud2670 3 роки тому +2

      @@ChaNayNayAnime Humans evolved to eat animal flesh. Hence the requirement for B12. If you wanna take supplements to survive an un-natural diet that's fine, just admit you're lying to yourself. Alot of those "scientific" studies are probably propaganda to support veganism. Veganism is mostly a marketing trend.

    • @ChaNayNayAnime
      @ChaNayNayAnime 3 роки тому +1

      @@incelproud2670 I understand what you mean. I totally do. But in this modern day we don’t live natural lives anyways. We drive cars for transportation not ride horses. We get vaccines for viruses not get sick and hope we survive. We have thermostats to adjust indoor temperatures, among other unnatural things. I’m willing to bet you’ve also participated in such unnatural things. So regarding how natural a vegan diet is, who really gives a fuck? And I understand that you don’t like this. And you’re entitled to that. But you’re not entitled to your facts. Science is not up for debate. These dietary organizations don’t owe vegans anything. If you don’t like that they are in agreement with a well balanced vegan diet then that’s fine. But let’s not argue with Scientific consensus because you don’t like their conclusions.

    Thank you for sharing this recipe. It looks good and ever since I became Vegetarian 3 years ago, it's been hard for me to eat right. Mainly because I don't know where to start, or what to cook. I came across one of your video and I saw how good these dishes looked I want to try it. I'm also looking into purchasing your cookbook to help me live healthy, eating real food instead of frozen box food.

    The Sticky Orange Sausage Traybake definitely is my favorite, as soon as the orange season starts. Sooo warm and sweet this orange flavor! Perfect for cold winter days. Thanks!

    So I made the sausage one last night and the tofu one just now. They are both absolutely delicious! The sausage one I served with a bit of basmati and both with some hummus on the side. Incredible. Cant wait to make this for family when out of lockdown. Cheers Gaz

    Just did the TOFU recipe today and it’s also my first time cooking with TOFU. Ohh!! my days- I love it. The sweet corn was yummy with all the juices and so was the TOFU.
    It was nice putting everything together and of course I found myself licking my fingers. I could not help it..... It was “delish”.👍🏽

    I just tried a form of the Orange, Fennel and Beetroot bake. I say a form because I forgot to get fennel and beetroot from the shops, so I improvised and added plain white potatoes to go with the sweet potato instead. Housemate doesnt like vegan sausages so I only put half of the amount in and filled the rest with plain tofu. Well turns out housemate doesn't like tofu either, but loved the vegan chicken and rosemary sausages!
    Also took way longer to bake than 45 minutes even with par-cooking the white potatoes first.
    The great things about bakes is you can throw whatever products you like into it just to clear out the cupboards and fridge.

    I'm not a vegetarian. These two bakes look and sound great. If I can find good vegan sausage here in NYC, that is the bake that I will give a try.

    I made the sausage bake last night with my non-vegan boyfriend and he devoured two plate fulls. I think he was surprised at how good a vegan sausage could be. I've never tried fennel before and was really amazed at what an interesting flavor it adds to the dish. I'm going to have to find more recipes that incorporate this vegetable.

    I would say this was an easy choice as I'm not a big fan of beet, fennel, or vegan sausage...BUT you made that first one look so good that I'm actually tempted to try making both of them. Thanks!
