Great vid paul bet you don't chuck many of those rigs off the southy or seaham north be a nightmare losing one of them lol No wonder it does not get used much" :-) 30 minutes to make and about £3 worth of terminal" One cast in a snag and it's gone along with the £1.20 peeler crab and and sinker. two hook flapper any day.
Cheers for this video, nice little rig. I have got to say that knot is the nuts! I used to use a uni knot to get that little barb pointing the right way, this is tons better. I wonder what the breaking strain of those cascade swivels is.
hi mate yea im just starting to get used to doing that knot, im not as good as paul at it yet, good question about the cascade swivels mate as u never see it on the packet ,,,,,, steve
hi Great instructions on rig building keep it up. Can you please slow the camera panning down a bit on your finished rigs so we can get a good look at the finished article. Your sexy teeshirt and background ad obscures the rig when you hold it up or better still put a photo or diagram of the finished on the video. You might want to tell us what the rigs are used for. apart from that I am really enjoying these videos. Having learnt my fishing in South Africa this is all new to me. Cheers
thankyou for your video mate i use the portsmouth rig alot i live here so the norm these parts i been making vids sandman if you want to check them out and i make this rig on my loop video, its a cool rig i like it but more like two hook up and over but its not a pompey rig mate, i see ian golds bait digging today guy who aparently 1st used it and fishing in matches it not what us southeners use mate, not being horrible ,mate just thought id let you know :)

***** The up and over rig is another one that gives a long clipped down ledger, its very simple but lacks the top flapper hook.
NICE GOOD JOB MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over here in Northern Ireland most anglers refer to this as a millennium rig.

If you buy a 6" CK red handle cable stripper for cutting the line is far better than a nail clipper.
Boss , why no more new video ?
Do you go to North East Tackle?
