Here we have a long-awaited video. This video talks about the new hook range from Sea-Glo. The building of the actual Dingle Dangle Rig and much much more.
Glad to see you on you tube again, I often watch your videos because they are so easy to understand. They information you provide to starting fishers such as myself, sea fishing is a thing I have only been doing for a couple of years, fresh water I have done for many years, is invaluable and time saving for us. Thank you so much for this one especially the crimping part of the rig, which looks very neat, tidy and very aerodynamic. I will have to try that myself.
Quality! This is like getting a good magazine (not a mucky one though) What a great service to the sea angling community. I always go back to the rig making vids on Sandman’s. Great work
nice video marra, been sea fishing for 50 years ( my first time was off of the end of the pier at seaham with my uncle george back in the early 70s ) . that tip about the bait elastic running through the handle of the three pronged bait thingy was genius , stops all the crap on your hands rotting the elastic , brilliant . will definitely be checking out the seaflo hooks as well . keep the vids coming..
Hi sandman you ok mate, absolutley fantastic your bk with a vid. Ive missed them so much. Your chanel was first i saw when i was in a dark place and i'm so pleased you helped along the way to get me were i am 2day loving sea fishing big shout to mental health. All the best paul from GRIMSBY.
Hi sand man, nice rig but just a pointer you can make a dangle of various material but nylon through a snell knot on the circle hooks just offsets it, the bait needs to sit directly under the circle not far from the bend of the circle. We in south africa make them of carbon coated wire, afw piano wire and braid leader with foam on either soft or high density.
Works real well with the hook tied onto the snood via a loop, ie a surgeons loop or perfection loop etc and the hair attached to the bend of the hook. 300lb braid hair, loop in the end of it, can use whatever bait you like then. Squid, fish, crab, worm too.
Like this rig and defo be giving it ago as I am fed up with especially the doggies swallowing all the bait and either loosing hooks or bending them. I would prefer to put the fish back knowing its going to live and not die because of a hook in its belly. And as always a brilliant vid mate. I ha e learnt alot from you so thank you very much.
Fantastic to see you well and back Paul !!!!! Love your channel and making those rigs and your tackle reviews I've watched all you videos and hopefully you keep them coming my guess is 1650 g
Loving your videos mate keep it up .can't wait to try that rig out .May even knock some up tonight for the open I'm fishing in the morning lol 997 grams
What another great video always look forward to watching your videos mate and you are people who say they can't understand your accent I don't know I understand you perfect they say is Yorkshire men have a different accent and they don't understand us but I don't know but now I'll be having a go at making that rig it's a really good rig and I reckon your spool of blue Marlin 700 grams keep up the great work and have an amazing Christmas all the best for the future mate keep up these great videos really enjoy it take care stay safe👌🤞❤ all the best from Hull all the best from Hull
Good to see you back sandman, one small criticism is using invisible mono on a white background when building the rig was really difficult for us to see how it was done. Keep making the vids 👌
Hi Paul brilliant video just wondering about the crimps are they a special type off crimp ie cooper or stainless steel finding it hard to find eny decent crimps in my area cheers.
I've seen lots of your videos on utube one in particular about box seat conversion was interesting I have a old seatbox and don't want to go to the expense of buying a conversion kit as being a pensioner I've seen on ebay a form of harness just want to know if you would recommend using one thanks
can you please direct me to the site where you buy your blue marlin line, it’s one if not the best one i’ve ever used and gutted i can’t find it anywhere
Remember when times used to be hard. I don't get it, why not just use a pully penal with a rotten bottom line to the weight. I usually find the hook is what gets caught more than the weight.
With your Uni/Grinner knot, what is the point of the first set of twists. I've tried it both ways, with and without many times and it results in the identical finished knot.
Blue Marlin was only ever available as far as I know at UK Hooks. Unfortunately, UK Hooks is history due to the death of its owner Mike. I hear rumors of a shop down south that went to auction and bought the remaining stock from UK Hooks. If you wish to look into that theory then please join Sandmans Tackle Time Facebook Group and look for the post on there. It is full of information that you may need. Good luck
@@SandmansTackleTime1 I'll do that as Im actually from down south and just across the water from where UK hooks was , I did read somewhere that the guy had sadly passed away but hoped it had been taken on by someone else , thanks for the heads up and i'll hop on to the facebook page when i get a chance

You can take night classes on northern English I did
I don't need to, I'm a Northern man.
@@foggy460 You still need to go to speak proper Southerner English the way God meant it to be. lol
@@johnharding6394 I have lived down South for thirty five years, so I can speak Southern.
@@foggy460 I fully understand why you would want to live in Gods end of the country did you need to go to France first and come back in a rubber boat?
@@johnharding6394 what I would like to know is being Dim natural or did you have to work at it?
