Hi paul. Take no notice of the green eyed monsters. your doing a great job, I've fished for 54 years but still find your videos very informative and entertaining, never to old to learn something new. ,Merry Christmas,
Only just discovered your channel, so good to see you back and posting again. Using your channel for bringing myself up to date with new techniques & tackle. havent fished since I sold my Conoflex and Abu 9000c for £50. about 25 years ago. Things have moved on a lot. Happy Christmas
Hello Iban...Yes i think its safe to say that things has moved on a little since then hahaah. Saying that I bet you 10 bob and half a liked twix that you could still catch a fish or 2 on that same gear if you still had it today matey lolol. There's a lad in our club that swears by the abu 9000 the twin speed one if i've got my facts right, and right up to this day he uses it especially in heavy ground conditions or big sea conditions....Thanks for watching mate. Tight lines.....Sandman
Cheers Paul, been meaning to thank you for all the videos, never looked back after using your 3n3 knot! Keep up the good work and all the best for 2017 from the Lancashire coast!
Great to see you back! I am now retired and looking to re-learn old techniques and add newer ones that I never knew in the first place. Your channel is among my top go-to sources. Seasons greetings to you and yours! I am now off for Christmas lunch....
Sandmans Tackle Time hi - Beautiful videos, I'm new in this field, you are very helpful, I watch all your videos, do not miss any of them wish Merry Christmas from Israel. Thanks.
it's a been a good year, thank you for all the helpful tips. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and the best wishes for the new year, see you on the other side. merry Christmas to everyone.
I hope all is well in your life Paul. Genuinely miss your shows. Found them very informative and entertaining. You are a top bloke. Hope you come back but if not thank you for all you have given us. Tightlines in the future.
Well Colin, as you may have heard ive, had a few problems come my way from some not very nice people which has all came as a bit of a shock and has certainly put a halt on not just my UA-cam career but my fishing career also. For the record I would like to add that none of it was true just the green eyed monster lifting its ugly head. Its a shame that there happens to be a few people like this in the world as all I've ever tried to do was to help people into the sport of fishing. and try and make there day to day easier in the sport...THIS is not the end of tackle time by far but im going to need a little time out and see where this mess takes me...Many thanks for your kind words of support, Take care and tight lines Colin.......Sandman
Hi Paul. I didn't actually hear but guessed something was up. People will be people. just for the record, you brought a lot of entertainment and imparted knowledge to a lot of people. Passing on to the new generation is always a thankless but self rewarding task. Thank you for all that you have shared so far. take all the time in the world and I for one look forward to your return at some stage. Keep the head up Paul.
Great video Paul! Cheers for the tip about the glove. I got a pair from Peterlee and made a batch of sinkers to try them out. Superb!! Far better than gardening gloves lol. Keep up the good work mate!
i dont mind helping in any way possible. you could either get intouch with mike at uk hooks and go from there or if your stuck i dont mind helping in some way...let me know whats best for you mate..take care and thanks for your support......Sandman
Very enjoyable video. I have been fishing since I was 11 ( I am now 14) I have Learnt a lot for watching your videos. I was just wondering if you could recommend a multiplier set up for about 250 quid. Anyway from one angler to another tight lines. Wish you all the best have a good xmas and a good new year from Ethan in north wales.
a full set up for £250?????? Well Ethan if it was me and we are talking brand new gear here I would personally go for a Ron Thompson Accelerator paired with a Penn Fathom 15. If the Ron Thompson was a little to much for you swap the rod for one of the M Sport range from one of your local tackle suppliers.....Hope this helps mate tight lines...........Sandman
Thanks for the good work, merry Christmas. I have a question for anyone : in the video, the length of the wire for the grip lead was 7 inches so including the lead, about 3 inches each side. What length do you personally prefer for which situations ?
Sandman, your videos are fanyastic. Is there a way you can make a non-return sliding bait clip used for surf fishing. Breakaway tackle sells the Austrailian type clip, however i would like to make my own. Can you please shoot a video?
Plodding along as always mate...Dont want 3 kids do ya hahahahha...Ill pay ya...PLeeeeeeaaaaaaasssseeee....hahah Only joking mate, there my life but can be hard work from time to time as im sure you will already no...Take care mate tight lines
