Though heating the eye of the hook does weaken the wire because its already superheated before reaching the hook factory so a slight bend will not harm the hook at all. i used to make hooks and know their true strength. top vids keep them coming you should be on tv you make more sence than some of the other twits.

I used to use the impact shields, but over rough ground one usually looses a lot of tackle - these rigs then become expensive. Do you find that the impact shield and all the clips result in more hang-ups? I fish very rough ground and tend to keep my rigs as simple as possible, though I did find I could cast further when the bait was clipped down. I may give your rigs a try just for a change. I used to built all my rig whith clear line I saw you often use impact shield but never the breakaway impact leads, is there a reason and what do you personnaly think about it? i think this rig is ok for many species and I ve never try this line with the spring SRT i m gonna try it in north of France where i live Thanks for your answer and regards from France Harry
What size stoppers do I need for 80lbs Shimano Ocea leader? A few baitshops I've been to say their largest ones don't accomodate such thick fluro. I want to use this pulley rig system to catch kingfish. I usually use the sliding sinker rig but it doesn't allow me to cast far from landbased areas. The pulley rig allows my bait to be down at my sinker so I can cast farther.
Does the colour of the line matter? i notice in the other videos you use different colours and also coloured baitclips etc, do you notice a difference? i always stick to clear but have just got some red amnesia. Love the vids keep them coming ;)
hi mate we dont use fluorocarbon but i think thats the advantage of fluorocarbon it doesnt show under clear water, i wouldnt say i would pick this rig over the pully i tend to fish one pully and this the 2nd rig what goes out , there is a double pulley rig video coming out next week, thats a cod rig thanks for your sub

in clear water i would say it matters but cod fishing in dirty water doesnt mate. im glad your enjoying them
