I’ve started watching your most recent videos when I discovered your channel this weekend. The pandemic has been hard on all of us so I’m so pleased to see you both laughing in this one. You produce wonderful content and have the freedom so many of us desire for ourselves. I hope we can all rediscover the things that make us laugh
You are an editing genius. Seriously, your videos are so beautiful I want to cry. I am just so mesmerized by the cooking. The sounds of the chopping, the sizzling, the boiling. And then the work of art you get to eat at the end! Just beautiful.
Awesome video! Things that stood out to me: 1) It was neat to see the frost already (it’s still hot here in Texas) 2) Off Grid juicing... now that is inspiring. I love that you make time to put healthy foods in your body even though it might be inconvenient sometimes being off grid. 3) Kamp is adorable soaking up the sun. 4) your haircuts look great. I love Barron’s curls. The way Barron said “she is” when the lady asked “isn’t she beautiful” melted my heart. 5) Your matching outfits 😍 6) I appreciate the time and effort it took to take so many shots from different angles. 7) you eat better than I do living on the grid 8) I live in a 30 ft fifth wheel travel trailer and watching your videos makes me feel like I have too much extra space and I’m inspired to downsize. 😄 You’re both the best and you are absolutely my favorite UA-camr. Much love from Texas ❤️❤️
i don't know what kind of magik you weave into your videography but the cooking segments in particular are truly mesmerizing, it's the most beautiful thing! i watch when having anxiety and need to feel calm and grounded. elsa you have a real gift!
Hey I want to thank you guys. My wife and I bought a T@B Trailer this year and living small is a challenge but one well worth the effort. Working to minimize our living does take some thinking but it's freeing to have less stuff. We also like the ability as you to move the trailer easier and going places big units can't. Your an inspiration. Peaceful to watch kudos to you both.
I love watching you guys. I am 60 years old and have had 2 surgeries and 6 fused discs in my neck and I live vicariously through the two of you. I would donate however I am not working a the time.
A lot of videos out there now always have music in the background, and it can be super intense. Having no music for certain parts of your videos is calming and helps relay to us viewers what living off grid is all about. Being more intentional, beauty and gratefulness of space, meals, relationships, etc. Thank you from Portland!
I have a 13ft. Scamp that I bought with the money that my father left me when he passed away. It is truly my little home away from home and I stay in it as much as I can if I need/want to travel. My husband calls it my "baby". Your videos have inspired me to document my adventures in some way. Maybe people would want to know what it's like to "live small". I've started remodeling the inside so it fits my style a little better. Thanks for sharing about your life. It's really fun seeing what you're doing. :)
Elsa, another great video. I agree with Zeke that you can probably sell the camera for parts or have it repaired. Or, if all else fails, give to a little kid. We played with an old camera when I was growing up and it was so fun the way the buttons clicked and the lens twisted.
You two are an exceptional couple. Your cooking segments are as good or better than anything on PBS, Food Network, etc, and the results are probably much healthier. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your lives.
I checked an old video of yours. I think you look much better with your off grid make up. And was impressed at your wallpaper video. I had not realized that you are such a good artist
I found this channel through your wonderful Appalachian trail video and I've been obsessed with your content ever since. It's so soothing and makes me reflect a lot on my life.
When it's 1:45 in my office, I think of you guys. Wondering what my life would be like if I'd have lived it versus waiting, and waiting, and waiting till 5:00. That's just Monday. Keep giving us hope and we will give you back our hope for you.
So I have really bad anxiety especially when flying. I am now waiting to board a plane and watching this, it has a way of relaxing my nerves ..thanks Elsa and Byron, your work matters
I absolutely love all your content. Every time I watch your videos I feel as if I where camping. You guys are amazing! I love watching videos of your day to day activities.
Such beauty in this video. !! Photography is stunning - close ups of cooking and rig is beautiful but your ability to record sound and sound edit it is what gives the viewing experience such intrigue. Can’t wait to watch it again with my wife.
I hope it's not out of place if I may say, that these are one of my favourite type of videos you create. Highlights and rad shots of the week is somehow soothing to watch and always puts a smile on my face 🙂 Keep enjoying your awesome lives wherever they lead!
Hi Mark and Rhea and all of your comrads! You all are doing a GREAT job to help the poor Filipino people who you help! Keep up the great work that you do, and thank you for sharing these videos! Bless you, Ginger
That was so much fun, I really look forward to your video’s. I’m still stuck working five 13 hour shifts as a private caregiver and I’m really looking forward to retiring and hitting the road someday. Thanks Elsa and Barron
I kinda became obsessed with you guys and your lifestyle and I'm glad😊 you guys are the best. So earth and self conscious but in all the best ways. Keep being so effing awesome. Love and light to you three!
Fiancee and I are walking now up to 4 miles a day during this whole Corona virus thing just out of boredom. It's starting to get hot though since we are in south Florida. I loved the video and I'm slowly catching up. I will have to go back through the 128 videos after I'm all caught up and like each video. When binging I tend to forget to do that. However, your scamp series and way of life has been amazing. I get to live this through you guys. We have children and family we just don't want to pull our babies from and Kim isn't a huge fan of living in small places. However, she did say she'd travel with me in the scamp for a road trip so that's close enough. We will be getting the full bathroom since we won't be living in it. I'm just starting to blabber. I love your videos.
Recently found your guys's videos really enjoying them .it remind me when I was a young kid. We lived in a bus traveled the country. Once I retire I'll probably do that again.
FYI I've been relearning the art of cooking pasta. Using as little possible water will give you a thicker sauce less water waste. Enjoying your scamp trips!
Just found you a week ago and I am truly mesmerised by every single second. Brilliant viewing and you are both soooo talented . Also Kamp is a star. Love all of the sounds . You eat substantially better than me and I have a good sized well stocked kitchen. We can learn so much from you both🌈
I rarely measure anything when I cook - once I know the consistency I just wing it. Those pancakes looked pretty amazing! So sweet of your Bend friend to give you haircuts - I too have curly hair and it always feels good to get the weight off. Dinner looked as amazing as breakfast!
Does the person who made and sold you the wool blanket have a website you’d be willing to share? That blanket would be nice to have here in Minnesota this winter ❄️😀
I love my walks w/ my dog, its the only time I get to listen to my audiobooks; I have 4 kids 2 cats and a pit bull at home so the only quiet moments are during the witching hour when everyone is asleep
The camera body is totally fixable! If you don't feel like cashing out money to fix it yourself/send it to the manufacturer, or a company that fixes cameras, it's pretty common practice to put them up on ebay for parts or not working and you'll def sell it, just not for a lot. Otherwise last resort is of course electronics recycling. My town has a recycling center which takes that kind of stuff. Def don't throw it out! Edit: Wonderful video, my favorite to date!
JUST GETTING BACK TO YOUR VIDEOS AFTER ENJOYING THE WARM SEASON HERE IN UPSTATE NY>>>LOVE YOU YOU BOTH >>>GOOD TO RECONNECT WITH YOUR WORLD>>>WILL BE CATCHING UP OVER THE COLD SEASONS HERE IN HARVEY THE RV>>>PEACE N LOVE TO YOU BOTH>>>KEEP ON KEEPIN ON>>>
Hermoso video!! Uds son un ejemplo a seguir de vida sencilla y natural, y como comer sano y rico, gracias chicos por compartir su fia a dia!! Abrazos!! Saludos desde Ecuador
You guys are incredible! You inspire me to eat healthier, take more walks and adventures, take time to enjoy the all beauty this amazing world has to offer, focus more on my well being mentally, physically and emotionally. Truly huge inspirations!! I want to try to make the dinner you made, looks delicious! I really wish you guys were able to post more often because your videos are so calming, informative and enjoyable. I could watch daily videos if you were posting every day. I have watched every video of yours multiple times waiting for new posts. They never get old no matter how many times I watch them. Love the hair cuts! Glad to know all is well and you guys are as happy as ever. Sending love. Safe travels! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next video!! Thank you for sharing parts of your life with us! Take care!!
I am a new subscriber to your channel and LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Camp is adorable! The good you prepare and eat looks so delicious. The filming is perfection. Pure joy!
Elsa...I BEG OF YOU...pleeeeeeease make a nice long ASMR food making video! You make the very best videos with and without food but I especially LOVE your food making ones. I have watched the 5 meals off grid one so many times just to get my ASMR fill, lol! Thanks with love!😊
Looks good. I am changing my diet this coming week. I continue to learn from your cooking. Please put a cookbook together, I have a autoimmune disease and I have purchased some other items you use.
Ok so I’ve been thoroughly enjoying vicarious adventures with you! I lived in a 16 foot trailer withmytwo kids & husband & we had a blast! You guys have it WAY dialed in & your videography is awesome. I like your food too- I made that coconut milk/ curry jar/ soup & added rice noodles(?You might like Kris they took in a flash they’re made by Lotus anyway hats off for sharing your sweet adventures with us all!)
I love watching yalls videos.... just wanted to share a cooking tip... we put a cake can over our burner and it saves our pots and distributes heat evenly..... i dont like cleaning the black buildup from under my cast iron pot... ;)
Love the haircuts..I noticed right away lol. Cant say enough how much I love and admire the way way you two choose to live. Maybe someday I'll work up the courage to live the same way. Love you guys, Hilary from Porterville, Ca. 🙏😘

Good morning good afternoon good evening you have inspired me to put together a day in the life of me. But I can’t because a lot of stuff is confidential because my husband is a lawyer and I’m a teacher. I could do what I live at home stuff and then just tell people that what I’m seeing is confidential and I’m just off to a hearing or a school thing and we’ll go from there but u inspired me to do it . I’m very every day life in Florida I don’t live in a camper but I sometimes wish I did after getting ready to move this month
Why not mount that table with hinges to the side of the Scamp so it can fold out when needed and folded down when traveling, just a thought. You could also mount painted black 3” PVC pipe filled with water and pressurized with a bicycle tire pump, the sun would heat up the water for showering.I really enjoy watching your videos!
Wow! I really love watching u guys cook. U make it look so easy. Not a thing I can do. At 80 now, little late to be learning, but I have tried some of your things and they are at least eatable, sept for the spinach, I can't go that stuff or the mushrooms either. Love your videos from right here in Kansas City. Later on

Much love from Texas ❤️❤️
Good all of the way ' round! Thanks for sharing!
Ruby when revealing Elsa’s hair cut: “Isn’t it beautiful?”
Barron: “She is.”
❤️
I noticed that, too. Beautiful!
Noticed that right away as well. They remind me of a couple from generations ago, old souls. Madly in love and it shows tremendously! 🥰
What beautiful souls. I love them ^-^
I just love the sounds when you guys are cooking! The chopping the sizzling mixing everything!
Awesome comment I love the sounds as well 💚
I feel the same way. I could sit and watch them cook all the time. That dish looked delicious 😋
Yess!!

Simply precious. But the best part: you have your whole lives before you. Treasure the days, one by one, for they are so fleeting.

Greetings from small town GA. I live on 8 acres so if you’re ever in the south, you are welcome to stay. Love y’all!
So like when are you gonna come out with a cook book or just a compiled book of the different meals you eat in the scamp :D
I love the way you guys live and the food you cook
Yes God i pray she does

Just a tip, but when you fully cook broccoli sprinkle it with ground Mustard seed after Its cooked, it makes the sulphoraphane in it more absorbed. 😊

Ruby did a beautiful job on your hair cuts! What a generous gift. 💜
My favorite part of getting my hair cut is when they wash it!!! 🥰
This is the realest channel I've probably ever seen. You two are awesome! Thanks so much
Awww, I don’t know Ruby but she is just a precious person! Love the hair!

Dang it - you guys are making me hungry during my fast! Need to wait to watch your videos until after dinner :P
Good to see you again.
Love the haircuts..I noticed right away lol. Cant say enough how much I love and admire the way way you two choose to live. Maybe someday I'll work up the courage to live the same way. Love you guys, Hilary from Porterville, Ca. 🙏😘
I love Oregon and used to live in Medford. I have been all over the Country and Oregon is the most diversed State I have been to.
OH!!!WOW I HAD ONE BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE FOLLOWING YOUR BEAUTIFUL SCENERIES AND THE GOOD FOOD YOU MAKE
When you mentioned haircuts, I got worried that Barron had chopped off his luscious locks!
❤ the haircuts and the blanket and the dinner.
Your hair is absolutely beautiful. Love your lifestyle and all the yummy fresh food you get 💕
Every time you put up a new video I want to go camping badly. Sadly until out tow vehicle is fixed there’s no hauling the pop up anywhere. At least I an camp vicariously through you guys. My hubby and I often listen to normal2nomad while driving home from our mountain adventures. We listened to the AT one Saturday after visiting Breckenridge. Also, I’m getting ingredients for the red curry coconut soup on the next grocery run. Looks delicious!
Hi Elsa and Barron and Kamp, I'm a new subscriber and just wanted to say I really enjoy watching your videos.
We're heading out in our 13 ' Scamp to spend Canadian Thanksgiving(this weekend) in the forest. Watching this has made me even more excited to do so!!
That is happiness on a plat and in a bowl!😋🤗
Superb detail in the audio
The last few minutes of the dinner cooking was so relaxing I almost feel asleep...😊😴
My best friend from high school lives in bend now! I'm still in Boston and don't get out much, but the pictures are so pretty
Thank you for sharing your journey... It calms me to watch your vids.. it's greatly appreciated 😊💜
Beautiful, authentic good people! Love all your food related videos, keep em coming 🙂👍
I think this is my favorite video yet!
Later on
Can't wait to see this years snow videos 👍🏻almost time
