      Barron at 3:58mins: I’m awake!
Dramatically turns 180 degrees from camera angle. Turns back 180 degrees and states: That’s all.
      Totally deadpan.
      Bwahaha!!

It's so awesome seeing you guys living off grid, 27 years ago I lived off grid, I taught yoga and bellydance, hiked part of the Appalachian trail, you've inspired me to go back to my roots, of course I'll have to be more gentle on my body, namaste, keep your good vibes, cool granny signing off, peace and love .

I love how you acknowledge the medicinal quality of mushrooms. I worked on a shiitake mushroom farm for a time. My employer was a psychic, and she communicated with fungi. It was actually really cool. Mushrooms are definitely here to heal us. She goes by Shiitake Mamma if you are interested, by chance. I'm usually not into "holistic" medicine, but it absolutely has its place. Mushrooms always lift my spirit.

TCM is where it's at! Hard to learn but by far the best natural healing I've run across in my 56 years. It's all about balance. Remember, you can always turn off these distractions, just because you have access doesn't mean you have to be a part of it, remember you control the vertical, you control the horizontal 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

Hi guys, another quiet peaceful video interrupted only by the harsh reality of youtube ads...drone footage is awesome. The desert is blossoming now and at her most beautiful. View from the new campsite is super, i could sit there all day long. I don't slice my lemons anymore, i pierce one end with a skewer and squeeze juice out of the hole as required, more control of the juice and the rest of the lemon can be kept without drying out. Stay safe guys and keep up the good work.

Hi...when I was your age, I loved the feeling of the early morn...my honey is an early rise & I'm the sleep in one!!!
I'm a true believer in taking each moment & each day for what it offers & not looking any deeper into it...this is freeing...love the way you both individually do your morning thing...we are the same...the dog pretty much directs the early routine but, then my un-directed day goes forward...we are retired for 2yrs now & after so, so many years we're enjoying the 'no rat-race' life style which i must admit took some time to adjust to...but we now revel in the daily freedom...blessings

I'm feeling unbelievably lucky because I now have access to super fresh organic produce and free range / grass-fed meats - basically a health-food store and an organic market - despite living in a rural town. A delivery service has just started up where I can order a wonderful array of veggies, fruits, meats, dry goods, personal care items and cleaning products online. I never thought it was possible for me to buy fresh fermented goodies like kimchi and sauerkraut. Sometimes what we need falls into our laps. I love that you found the meaning in your temporary isolation. I spent six months living off-grid in a caravan on a sandhill in remote outback Australia. No phone, internet, electricity, running water or services. At the time it wasn't what I wanted. Now, ten years later, I'm thrilled to be building an off-grid home. We change, evolve, and are ever surprised by the Universe. :) Happy travels!

I've lost almost 20 lbs but I'm not feeling really well I am dizzy and weak a lot. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I love all your videos and seeing such enjoyment from a more simple lifestyle then most people are used to. I have wondered why more people who live in more remote areas where cell service may be an issue, or travel like you guys do, do not get involved in amateur radio (Ham Radio). This does not provide internet access, but it does allow for emergency communications and weather alerts if needed. You do need a license for this, but it is fairly easy to get. If you have questions about it, just let me know. Best you luck to you guys and thank you for sharing your videos.

Hey Elsa & Barron, sorry your initial plans for Utah didn't work out but so glad you stayed in Utah as one lifetime doesn't seem enough time to take it all in. I'm sure you'll find you way back there sometime and enjoy the missed areas. We really enjoyed our very first visit to Zion, Bryce and Escalante as we hovered near Lake Havasu late Feb waiting for the snow to stop falling inZion then beelined to Valley of Fire and Snow Canyon before arriving at Zion early March without reservations and arrival of spring breakers. It was an awesome time to be there. Heading out for longer hikes on first shuttle made for less crowded hikes and return to our fur baby before it heated up even in early March. By St. Patrick's. Day, Zion and town of Springdale was packed but lots of fun with local parade, fun pubs and new friends. We don't camp quite remote as you but enjoy state and national parks w/o hookups which is off grid too without cell, Internet, etc and enjoy solitude. Our camper is a few ft. longer at 20' and lots of under the bed storage. Usually stock up on enough non- perishables to last us 2-3,weeks in case no good groceries nearby. Love Trader Joe's for most non-perishables. Jarred grilled artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, black beans, pasta, grains, wraps/tortillas, lots root veg., tuna, dried fruits and lots of nuts. It's amazing what one can cook up in a tiny kitchen especially when we burn up our body stores in the great outdoors.
Thanks for sharing your adventures & days of solace! Love your videos and music accompaniment! Cheers!

Loved the view from your second spot! We always want to be completely un-connected, then suddenly we don't. Checking weather can be important and having the ability to work and do the daily internet things ends up being really important.

I'm so glad you guys found solace. Something about Utah will give you that super "off-grid" feeling, so sweet.

As someone who was never a morning person (and I worked a job that started at 630am) as a stay at home mom now mornings are my favorite. I roll out of bed around 7-730 leaving the baby asleep(usually). I sit in the backyard with a cup of coffee and have "me" time before baby wakes up.

Metal on cast iron is like a death wish to your pan. It scratches the surface tremendously and can wear off the seasoning you did to your pan. I would recommend switching to wooden spatulas to ensure the longevity of your cast iron for generations to come! Btw you guys videos are seriously awesome and I hope to try this lifestyle one day soon!

I love, love, love that while you have some envy of what we’re doing, you’re actively making moves to make it happen for yourself. It’s hard for me to appreciate the comments of people who say they “wish” they could do this. In some circumstances I can see how it wouldn’t work, but in most cases, if this lifestyle is what you wish to be real in your life, it can be if you DO it. So THANKS!!! You can do it!!!

@@ElsaRhae Thanks, Elsa, your reply means a lot to me. I agree with you. And the people who say life can't be a vacation are the same. If you give up what is deemed "normal," you can have a quality life that makes everyday feel like vacation. And that's what I want. I think life was meant to be beautiful, not slaving away everyday at work and going home stressed and tired. I think life is supposed to have adventures, and be living amongst the beauty of nature, not the concentration camps of industrial cities. It should be peaceful and fulfilling. I aim to make more of my life than society says we should.
