Thanks for being here everyone! It's crazy to think of where my van life began... 4 years ago with the purchase of my van in Las Vegas, NV. After a 8 month long DIY van build, I am back in the desert fixing things up! We are now all ready to head back to Colorado, for even more projects on our off-grid, homestead-in-the-making!

I sold my house, quit my job..career of 20+ years that no longer makes me happy, bought rural property 5 states away. I leave in June. I'll be living in my travel trailer until I figure out the next move. Mid life crisis or finally doing what I want... we shall see
Wishing you lots of good luck!
That's amazing - go you!
This is so beautiful to hear. I have been planning to make this similar jump since 2019. It seems like there is always something getting in the way. I plan to leave the province that i live in and move North. I love the snow, and the cold. Where i currently live it is normal to get -45C in winter at -30C its like a fall day. I made a trip to the Yukon and have fallen in love. The thing that gets in the way there is the cost of living. And then i remind myself that everything everywhere is expensive. Best wishes!
Godspeed
That is awesome, I did something similar. Honestly quitting my TOXIC job was the best decision I’ve made in the past few years.
We get one go at this life…I’m not spending it working lol
I’ve just decided to need/want less.
I am a 65 yr old woman in a truck camper full time 7 years. I'm having one of "those days" today, and this video really lifted my spirits and reminded me that the sun will come out again. Thank you❤❤❤
Aw I'm so glad to hear that. I hope you're feeling better now!
I’m a 72 year old grandma and I want to have a van just to have everything I need is with me. My sons say I’m to old !!!! lol I watch my grand children everyday . I want it for me and my cat BraveHeart. I go away for the day but I won’t leave him alone at night. That way we can go away for the week end and he will always be with me. I have a house now and that takes a lot of work. My social security will go father. Love you videos. ❤️❤️
I'm going to be 70 in September. I'm in the process of a camper build. I'm also training for my 3rd attempt at the Appalachian Trail. I have hypertension and mild COPD. You can do it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's hard, yes. But how hard is it staying home and yearning for the open road?
Do what you want! You are only 72 once! I’m 69 and built a camper in the back of my truck a year ago. I travel for weeks-months on jobs like moving friends or decluttering someone’s house/shed or whatever. Your dream is really where your life is and it will bring with it fullness of living. May God get the glory!🙂🙏
I am 73 and live in a Subaru Outback…It is crowded, so yoj could do it so much better and easier with a van. You’re NOT too old if you have your health and physical manuveurability. GO FOR IT! I woukd keep your house, though, if you can afford to
What a wonderful surprise to see a vid up from you…..didn’t expect to see one this week…..great thoughts on this subject
Watch LULU way. She is a older woman and she has meet ups with our women.
I just turned 75 in April and bought a used minivan last Monday. Yep, I'm a little scared because I have health problems but think I'll be better off outside. Thinking I'm getting too old but have wanted to do this for years.
Safe travels 🙏✝️❤
That's incredible! Good for you!!
I sleep better in my vehicle. I I suspect because my apartment has bad ventilation and probably mold in the vents . meanwhile sleeping in your vehicle, you get direct air from the outside
I went keto, improved my health 👍🏼
Good for you. You will probably find that your health issues will improve and your soul will become more content. Go for it
@@Linneaandakela Ty. Gonna try after my Dr appointments 🤭
Husband died a year ago..bought a Camper Van been living for 7 months, and now going home to Alaska to spread his ashes . Life is journey , none of us have no guarantees and now is the time if you are considering Van life.
Good luck and sorry for your loss.
Thank you for sharing... sending you a really big hug♥️
OH…PLEASE be…easy on yourself; you are dealing with powerful and disruptive ideas, along with sad/painful memories…AGAIN, be easy on yourself…. TAKE CARE…. 🥰‼️
I will turn 54 in a month and a half. My last day in a house was March 31st. I am now living in my (pre converted) shuttlebus. About 2 hours after leaving the house, I broke down. Luckily, I made it into a gas station. Because it was Easter Sunday, I spent a day and a half at that gas station. Finally got back on the road, for about an hour and a half, and broke down, again. Luckily, I was able to coast into another gas station, where I spent another 2 days, waiting for the mobile mechanic to get me a new alternator...that actually fit.
Because of something you said, in a previous video, I never got upset. I just did what I needed to do, and made the best of it. You said that if you can't handle challenges, this lifestyle may not be for you. I took that to heart. I didn't expect challenges so quickly, but I laughed and said here we go! My new life is already showing me I CAN do hard things, and genuinely smile through them!
Thank you, so very much! 😊
Wow. Integrity.
Sounds like the start I had. Tire blew out on the highway. Etc etc. that’s why I tell people to do a shakedown journey first.
Sold my 3000 sqft home of 22 years and now suburban van living in a 60sqft cargo van. Fantastic decision for an extra early retirement.
How I wish I could get an Rv to live in with my family.. it is just so sad that here in south africa we have small camper caravans, they are not big enough to hold up a full family of five.
Awesome! Love extra early retirement!
Look into converting a trailer build what you need and i bet it holds up better then most rv. Good luck!@meshackmokone9627
You can use window sash latches (the type that go on wooden window frames) to keep those drawers shut.
I just started vanlife myself in south Florida and it’s very tough! It’s already 90 degrees some days! You can’t park in a lot of places, and there’s alot of homelessness and crime here.
But the positives still outweigh the negatives for me. I get to be by the water everyday, move home goes where I go, and your life feels longer because there’s alot more stimulation
Roman, hi. 😊 Pinellas county here ( Clearwater). I agree. The vehicle heats up so fast and really soon it's going to be in the 80s even in the night. I did notice portable AC unit is 40 percent off right now so I'm considering getting one. Have you tried it? If not, maybe someone here has used one. I have two fans but it doesn't put a dent in it. I'm originally from Wisconsin but have gotten used to the heat but this year is heating up sooner than past years.
I I totally get it when you said that life feels longer because of more stimulation. And it’s not the bad kind of stimulation. It’s the good kind of stimulation. I feel exactly the same way. I’m someone who struggles greatly with being in the present moment. Then life forces me to focus on the present moment in a good way. And because I’m focusing on the present moment, more my days feel longer and much more enjoyable.
Drive north Florida is awful
One of the best videos I have ever seen. Blessings for truth.🙏🍀☀️
I picked up some property in Colorado . Off grid. Had a detached retina winter came and I had to leave.
Came back to California truck broke down I’ve been living in it .
Depressed? No.
When life knocks you down…
Get back up and dust yourself off .
Because it won’t be the first time and it won’t be the last time it happens .
We are pioneers we are explorers .
To live off grid, to live life is a dream .
I will purchase a van, and I will build it myself .
I’m working full-time to make this dream a reality.
I will have cataract surgery in the meantime, so that I can see while flyfishing the mountain streams in Colorado and spearfishing the ocean in California .
Dream big, plan small, live life.
And follow your instincts.
If you are in a rut, put it in four-wheel-drive.
Don’t worry be happy.
I will go back to Colorado and build my house .
I will travel in my van from California to Colorado off grid, rent free .
Dream becomes reality if you put in effort and believe in yourself .
Live large like you’re in charge . 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
I loved your comment. I too bought some off grid property in CO. We plan to build a house there too, good luck as well in living out your dreams. You can do this!
Hope you are doing better
Amen well said ❤
I will be 75 in July and I am preparing to be able to travel more.
Because eyes are crucial to this lifestyle, I would suggest taking a good eye supplement containing Lutein. When my father was in his 80's he had dry Macular Degeneration and his optometrist (not his expensive ophthalmologist) suggested that he take Occivite (for the Lutein). It reversed his Macular Degeneration and he drove until he was 97.
I also take 5 grams daily of Vitamin C to protect my heart, back, joints, and to prevent osteoporosis. Supplemental Iodine (drops of Lugol's Iodine) keeps energy up (happy thyroid) and reduces risk of cancer.
My first period on the road was a 1959 Chevy Viking 60 schoolbus I lived in in 1980. Over the years I drove it coast to coast a few times and spent a week between Lakeview Oregon and Winnemucca Nevada changing an engine and transmission by the side of the road.
I have the great advantage of being a mechanic and electronics technician and welder, so I can handle most anything which comes along.
When I travel in my Tacoma, I always have lots of tools and help those I can along the way.
Safe travels to you all.
Yes! Totally agree. I'm buying my van this fall, building it myself. Haven't got a clue, more than I'm doing it no matter what. Just want to own my life. Good luck🍃🌳
I admire you for being so full of life and being yourself and not afraid to show that. I wish you happiness and joy in your journey.
Thank you so much for your support and generosity!
My mami died last month now i am living in the car with my 3 year old Min Pin. broken heart broken spirit. I have suffered non stop for 2 months. No place for both of us no help But my puppy is worth this and more. We are all we got and we will stay together. Thank you for your video. 🫰🎃
God bless you! Sending prayers. Ive been there myself.. I got a cheap gym membership to shower.. I worked 2 jobs.
Moved closer to my mom who had cancer but on chemo.. Transmission went on my my car.... Its been very challenging. Next I will invest in a camper and live off grid, start a garden. Times are getting harder. Stay strong Stay positive It will get better. Keep in faith🤗
You can do it!!!
🙏🏼🩵🐾🌈
🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Sending you love
Starting year 5 in my self built Promaster. Could not be happier. Thank you so much for this video. I also run a BLUETTI ac300 with two batteries. Runs my gaming system with ease
Awesome! Great use for it!
I am 64 years old woman and live in the Netherlands. For years I have been dreaming of a campervan and save everything I can for it. I am very handy and want to build it myself, have kept all your videos of the building because you give a lot of useful tips, You've inspired me beyond belief. I have deep respect for you how you made everything and how tough you are.
This might be the best video you have ever made. It feels so mature, so experienced. Thanks for the wisdom!
Wow, thank you!
I love how you've included others in this video. It brings such an expansion to why we've been following you and it's so inspirational. It just brings in a different type of feeling that I think all of your followers can relate to. I hope it continues. Much love and so ready to follow your homesteading adventures. Your videos help me realize the beauty in the world when I can't reach it. Love your videos so much. I know how hard it can be for you but we love you. Thank you for sharing all your hard work.
Thank you, Linnea for those encouraging words. I’m an older woman in her 50’s and have wanted to be a nomadic traveler for some time. I’m one of those that chooses comfort over new and scary activities. But I’m not happy. Waited for some sign, some encouragement to step out of my comfort zone. Your encouragement just may help this older lady live the life I believe I was meant to live. Haven’t stepped out of my comfort zone yet, but I’m willing to take a step towards it. Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos. It means to so many of us.
This is wonderful to read ❤️ I know it will be hard, but I am so proud of you for getting to the point where you can truly step into what you really want. You got this!!
Go for it! At 65 I am loving the part time and will retire next year and be on the road for most of the year.
50? You are not old 💖 I'll be 65 this year !
And your not old either,I'll be 70 yrs.,& I see people in70s,80s still walking around, traveling, camping in their Vans,RVs& doing life every Day!🌟🇺🇸👍🤞✌️👌🌞🌻🤩🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
I'm 62. Did my build with help 4 years ago. Simplifying is freeing. I have so many comforts, more cooking things & clothes than I need. 80 books! What more does a human need??
Solo, older female w younger puppy having my van built. Did this as a teenager but more for trips here and there weeks at a time. This time I go against all who warn me not to due to age!! If not now, when? Am I too old for adventure my way? I say no!! Do it your way!! I will have a few more comforts in my build because I think it will help me enjoy the road in my situation. We are indeed all different. I think the 1 tie that connects us all is the thirst for LIFE!! I hope to meet someday!!
I am 70, mildly disabled, and very low income. My choice was nomad life in my 18 yo minivan, or a subsidized senior studio apartment somewhere else (sf bay is too expensive). No contest! There’s a lot of countryside out there to explore, even if I can’t hike as far as I’d like or climb rocks anymore. After 10 months full time, outlying in southern CA, I love it! I’d hate to live in stix and brix again.
What comforts? 😃
Something I never expected but somehow became the biggest hardship in vanlife for me was life on the road with the WRONG person. Your travel partner can really make or break the whole thing.
After getting my own rig and literally building what I still consider to be my first home, it’s shocking how much homesickness you can have for your van and the lifestyle. I know that my chapter in vanlife is over, married and a first child on the way, homeowner with my 2 seater van old van just collecting dust in the driveway waiting for its new home. Moving on is bittersweet and probably the biggest shock about vanlife. How much you might miss it when it’s over.
Congrats on the child. You can still go camping someday.
I'm moving in my Honda Element this summer and could not have listened a better video to pump me up ! ❤
Awesome! So stoked for you!
Great car for travel!!!
I am so thankful I met you when I did several years ago. You have inspired me to step outside my comfort zone. I have been a full time RV’er for a year now. I am a creator and I make many things, jewelry is what I make the most. I live in a campground in a travel trailer half the year and the rest of the year I take my RV around the country. My RV is about to go to my cousins for many repairs. I hope I am able to be involved with the repairs. You have been a big inspiration in my life. I am grateful to have met you along my travels. I wish you the best with all your adventures.
I really enjoyed this video. I like watching you fix and update things in your van. The comments from other van lifers interspersed with your projects was a great way to present the subject of van life. Your videos keep getting better!
Thank you!
Love the insights on #vanlife from your viewers! I've been living the van life for 5+ years and I can't disagree with any point in this video. Great content, thanks!
Thank you!
When you let go of control, life offers amazing things just when you need them. 4.5 years into fulltime vanlife in the Toronto area, and that is the most surprising and humbling thing I've learned.
Im from oshawa and gonna sell my house and do van life. Who do u recommend to do a van build in this area?
The amount of people who go a lifetime never truly knowing who they are. Cherish the gift of the journey. And make sure to enjoy the self discovery.
I’m so glad you admit to “losing stuff” in a vehicle, drives me nuts. Lol
omg, always
There's not much space to lose stuff, but somehow it keeps happening! lol
I used to lose stuff in my minivan! In a minivan, you often need to squirrel things away..... somewhere. You can rarely have a single place where all X, and only X is stored. So then the question becomes, "Which possible X location did I stash this particular X Thing?"
Drives me crazy too - then, I take a deep breath & remind myself that it will show up cause it can’t go anyway but in my van. 🚐 😂
Thank you! That was great! I just started the nomad life 4 days ago! It’s even better than I could have imagined!
Welcome! That's amazing! I'm so stoked for you!
When we sold everything and left the house… the first night in the van everything went wrong. Our brand new screen tent broke in the crazy storm we had to endure. It was freezing cold ( may15) and we couldn’t leave the van. Got a flat tire… no tire iron to change it…We looked at each other wondering if we had made the biggest mistake of our lives. But we made it work, we moved, it got warmer and we learned a ton in the first few weeks. Narrowly missing a divorce in the process hahaha. It made us stronger.
After 4 months in the van and a tent we saved enough cash to buy our RV outright….and the real adventure began there.
Thanks for another great video😘
I love all your videos, but this one resonated with me SO MUCH. So much great advice and wisdom from those on the road, or now off the road. After just a month in, my hopes, dreams, and plans have all been shaken by unexpected repairs/worries/timing and this is such a great reminder to slow down and really think about what’s next💕
I love how you put clean sheets on your bed and your dog loved rolling all over them. So cute. Thank you for your wisdom and guidance in regard to van life. I wondered about a few things and you answered them for me. Thanks again.
I think that this has got to be one of my most favorite videos of yours. With the helpful and inspiring comments from others you put in, to some of your own wisdom you had to share, this was one of the best I’ve watched and made my day much better. I always get so excited when I see that you have a new video and just love hearing about all the tips and advice and experiences you have to share.🧡Thank you Linnea!
We've texted several times. Thank you for always being uplifting and sharing your wonderful life with us. Being sick I can't do all the wonderful things I see you do it seriously helps me feel better. Thank you again!! Give akela hugs🐾
Such a great, informative, soulful video. Learned/reminded: face fears, get out of your comfort zone, have a plan but go with the flow, take time for yourself, follow your heart even when others don’t share your vision, trust your gut if you feel unsafe. All good things and the stuff of life.
Love to you and Akela ❤
Thank you for sharing. You and Akela, Elsa and Barron, Vancity Vanlife, Eamon & Bec, and a number of others were my inspiration when I was looking for a change. Initially, I was considering building a tiny house then COVID hit and I spent most of 2020 trapped in my s&b like pretty much everyone else. In August of 2020 I found the van I wanted but had to wait to build up enough cash to purchase it. I picked up my van December 22, 2020 and moved into her full time May 1, 2021. Nearly three years, both myself and my cat are still in love with this lifestyle. it's not all easy breezy, sunshine and rainbows but the freedom is well worth the small discomforts.
Anyway, I appreciate you sharing your adventures. You continue to be an inspiration..
Been following along since the very beginning. I love to see how you’re updating and using the garage and other spaces in the van now. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again but your editing skills continue to blow me away-especially to see where you started. Keep up the great vids! I never miss a video
I loved this video and enjoyed the comments. Well done! I'm preparing for the nomad life and look forward to getting out there and getting messy. Your words are comforting and encouraging. Thank you.
So this was timely. I bought a 23 year old shuttlebus that was partially built out at the end of February. I had a hard time finding someone to give it a good look over but finally someone (recommended by a friend) who knows all about living off grid came and looked at it, and basically told me that it wouldn’t be worth finishing it because it’s already so old and since I’m not mechanically inclined, it would be nothing but headaches for me. I’m supposed to be renting my house out in two months and leaving in the bus. Now I feel like the wind got knocked out of me and I don’t know how to move forward. For context I am 51 with no camping experience. I am an empty nester and desperately sad every single day. I thought adventure on the road might cure what ails me.
Maybe U don't have to take anyone's advice .. u could go for it and deal with stuff as it happens... I think that's the point.. doing it and dealing with it , is living . That's the adventure. , enjoy it😊
Get a second opinion!
Talk to the people at the auto parts places, ask them if they know a local mechanic they trust for their moms and daughters.
If the bus still doesn’t work out, a minivan can be great. Cheaper on gas. I have a van and I only use half the stuff in it. I’m a one-burner cook.
Tidelinetoalpine's latest video talks about money and choices... She says at some point that she could never have afforded to buy her truck as it is today... She has repaired and improved and made it into what it is today over time dealing with each issue as it arises... It's very good video 👍
Good for you. I have been on the road in my van since July 2023. Just me and my 13 year old cat. We have had many adventures already, and I look forward to many more. We have seen some beautiful places and have met some very nice folks along the way, and a few a-holes but, that's life. I wish you safe travels.
Cool setup. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sharing. I wish you safe travels and much joy in your adventures. Blessings.
Your van is so cosy, like a small wood hut. To live your life to the beat of your own dreams and to literally say how happy you are... you have achieved as a harmonious human. Happiness is illusive to many yet a goal to all. Well done and thank you for sharing your gift 🙏
This video was like hanging out with a good friend (or a granddaughter in this case;) while they did a couple chores & I drank coffee. I didn’t want it to end. Great video, Linnea!! Thank you so much for taking us along.
Love & Blessings till next time! ❤️🙏🏻
Ahh I love that!! Cheers (with coffee mugs!) Have the best day!
I dont comment much, but ive been watching your channel for a couple of years. I have 2 sons in there 40s but if i had a daughter i would hope she was like you. Your just so cool Linnea
Aw that is so very sweet of you - thank you so much!
I want some of your pottery coffee cups. When will you sell them? Just LOVE the ones I've seen. Can't believe I've been following your travels since you started building out the van 4 yrs ago. Gosh, time flys. Love your videos. You have become a professional videographer.
Aw thank you so much! I'm just selling my mugs to my Patreons for now but the hope is to have a larger selection once I build my own little pottery studio!
Here is a link if you feel inspired to join, no pressure as I will be making more available in time 😊 www.patreon.com/linneaandakela
I followed Linnea to do my build. I love this young woman. I am 63 and started van life one year ago. Of course, it was uncomfortable at first and I made a lot of mistakes. Now, I love it and won't go back to bricks and mortar until I am forced to, for whatever reason.
That's amazing news! I'm so happy for you!
Hi Linnea, The authenticity you bring to adventure traveling portrays realism with an openhearted mindset. The truth is, with my newly aquired empty nester lifestyle along with my relentless desire for traveling and the outdoors, I would start some type of Van Life in a heartbeat 💓. Maybe one day soon, I'll see you out there, but for now, at least, I get to live vicariously through you. Happy Travels!
I really loved this video. It’s so timely based on what I’m going through so thank you.
Good for you. Keep enjoying your adventures.
I'm 46 and I have CHF. My mobility is not what it used to be but I made the leap and converted a box van.
Your channel is one of a few that motivated me to make the change.
While my build is a bit different than most but because of my disabilities.
I sacraficed for a smaller bed to make a large enclosed shower with shower seat. The reverse is typically what we see@ large bed and small or outdoor shower.
This also means I sacraficed a smaller kitchen and storage for more water storage.
It does work out well though because I'm a minimalist and have verry little.
A laptop, a small assortment of clothes verry little cookware for simple meals.
My build favors large fuel/water storage, a comfy computer desk, a bed that's comfy for one and will just work for 2 for a few days at a time... if or when although doubtfully ever happen other than my horse of a goldendoodle that's about 90lbs LOL.
Thank you for so many great videos, ideas and encouragement.
I've loved your content for awhile now...but your content lately has been absolutely amazing. ❤
Beautiful words of advice from many! I admire your devotion to”getting it done” something we all need
Thank you so much!
I just moved into my van and have been here for a month full time. I super relate to this. Thank you.
The beginning is the hardest.
Great video Linnea, your a great inspiration to many people, my husband and I would also love to travel and be on the road, but we are just so nervous too. Watching you over the last year has inspired us both to try something new
@saboroskie3 she's been an amazing inspiration to me. A 65 solo van traveler. She taught me through her videos how to put lights in my van.
That's so cool - thank you for sharing!
@@Linneaandakela you’re so welcome! This video was so well made and so informative. I set off for a few more adventures this year in the van and then scheduled to retire next year and travel a whole lot more. Thank you for your wisdom, truth and so much love you give to your channel. Keep inspiring! ❤️❤️
You can use a sharpie or dark furniture polish on the nicks and scrathes on your floor before you seal it. Personally, I think it adds character, and will look fabulous!
I love you, you're so inspiring. I just like being in your energy even though I'm not living in a traveling home myself. Your message in this video is applicable to EVERYONE!! And really helpful for me personally as I'm working on creating my own entrepreneurial business.
Amazing. Thank you Linnea :)
Thanks for shareing your wisdom.
Such a beautiful end to this vlog. Thank-you.
Gotta agree with the consensous Linnea! truly an incredbile video, I wish there was more to call that piece of art I just saw. Sharing your life in an incredible way. I realllllly enjoyed it!
thanks for doing what you do, and doing it really, really well!
Linnea this video is the first one I have watched of yours. I felt compelled to comment because I wanted to be sure you aware of how you have impacted lives in such a beautiful way, many truths being revealed. Great Job ❤. Light, Love and blessings to you and Akela. Safe travels. 😊
That is so nice of you to say. Thank you for taking the time to send this message! 💛
Thank you!
Everything incorporated in this video was inspiring. Well done and so peaceful.
Your courage is contangoes. See you on the road, Godspeed!
Well done. Thank you.
Beautiful video. Thank you.
The feeling of freedom that comes with this lifestyle is so profound words cannot describe it. You just have to do it. I spent 1 month living in my van in my home city. Then another 4 months in Mexico. I was more scared in my home city than the foreign country. Figure it out as you go. Have a general idea of what you want and let the adventure and experience dictate what you need. I (like you Linnea) prefer less. I have a low top and a queen size fixed bed. I like that my van doesn't feel like an apartment on wheels. I like pulling the cooking stuff out and putting it away again. Anyway, we all find our fit. Love the video!
I just want to say.....
Thank you young lady, for being a very good role model for the women coming up today. I've been watching you for awhile and must say that you have made me so proud so many times as you have today.
Your very straight forward looking at life is admirable and will help so many people I feel.
But as a young woman, you give me hope for others.
I wish I'd had your advice when I was 20. At now 64, I can say I've seen much and regret much.
Not having a person to advise or share their life trials with is regrettable. Everyone can use advice in their life.
Thank you for all you do and in sharing so much with us all.
I truly enjoy your video's very much.
Blessings to you and Akela 🙏🕊🙏🕊🫰💜💜
I usually try to boost small businesses but I realized that when it comes to diesel/gas the quality matters and cruddy fuel can gunk up your fuel injectors/lines and it cost BIG time. When it comes to gas/diesel go where they are busy and I hate to say it, a well known brand. Learning more about this issue is something I hope to learn from you! Thanks Linnea❤
Outstanding video !! One of your best. Many great perspectives about your lifestyle. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Hello Linnea, I have just seen your video for the first time here in Germany, hi from Germany 👋 You are an inspiration, and thank you for your videos! Good to see that you are not alone, having your two best friends with you! I love the outdoors and Freedom is a precious gift! Wish you and your two friends all the best ❤! Have a great day!😉 👍
Aw thank you so much, Michael.
Great video with good advice! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks, Linnea, to share your deep journey! 🙏
Absolutely :)
I'm 62- I'm on 4th year fulltime in my self built( with some help). I don't drive a lot. Just 1 city. & I work. Love my simple life . I'm a meditator. No travel needed. Too much pollution. & I'm content in stillness. The parking stress is not my scene.
That's a great way to do it!
Love your videos. Inspiring~~ Linnea ~ Thank you !
Great video! I just bought a van and you’ve given me a lot to think about. And I like how you mixed your fixing up the van with all the comments and thoughts. Thank you!
Thank you!
I absolutely love this, thank you so much for sharing. I am considering this lifestyle in the future. This video was really helpful!
I’m closing up my business in October to start traveling in my car with my dog full time. I’ve considered it for years, but recently started notifying regular clients that I am leaving later this year and I was so sure about it for a few months but I’ve been having a lot of anxiety about it these past few days. I really thought about calling it off again because I was nervous that my fear of change and/or failure outweighed my excitement/confidence. This morning, I asked for a sign that everything will work out and if I should fully commit to this. Opening my current business and making it successful was hard work, it paid off and I love what I do, but I feel a deep yearning to explore beyond my state/surrounding states. I was kind of bummed when I read the title of the video, thinking it might further discourage me. I watched anyway. Instead, the video told me EXACTLY what I needed to hear exactly when I needed to hear it. I really wasn’t expecting to receive any sign at all, but this was it for me. Hearing people relate about the fear that comes with such a change, but also the personal growth that comes with that change will be so worth it. I want to travel the US and discover all of its natural beauty while my dog is still young and able, and I feel reconfirmed that I can do exactly that. I don’t need to have every single step figured out, worried about all the different pathways I could take and the outcomes of each. I just need to do it and follow the path that feels right to me. Thank you so much for this 💕
I believe everything happens for a reason and I know I want this lifestyle I grew up going camping and experiencing the outdoors my mother loved to travel and I do too. I have my van ready to go just need to make the leap. As I sit here looking outside wishing I was out there instead of sitting behind this desk. Thank you for this video it is inspiring. I am hoping to do the same with others once I start my journey.
What a creative and thoughtful video. I loved your narration of other peoples experience pertaining to Van Life.
The music was spot on and I'd love the drone shots. This video just seemed so different and really touched me.
Thank you so much!
What a breath of fresh air your video is!
Ive been full-time in my class c for a year in April/24. I love it, the freedom is so calming. I just spent 5 months in Quartzsite.. That was awesome, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. 🌇 Having said that, im seriously considering downsizing to a van! In my opinion, you've got it made!!! Im a solo traveler too and not looking to confuse my space with a relationship period. I do need a furry co-pilot thru a save a pet program! I enjoyed your content and especially the full moon at the end. My leap-year daughters named her daughter Luna! As my daughter was going up, when we came home I always said to my daughter look at that moon!! Can you feel the vibes??
Since your video came into my orbit, I'm going to subscribe. Safe travels 🙏 Toledo. 💙
The advice of everyone was soooo good!
Great job girl! I have a Bluetti AC230 MAX (2048kWh) and it's great.. It can take up to 1440 kw input. I use mine with 5X200 Watt Rich Solar panels. Lots of pass through power during the day and always charged going into the evening. Super reliable. Stay energized out there!
Fully agree, we had same during trip to Alanya
