Great content, Jonathan. I like how you include your fitness routine and your diet into the videos. It is good advice on how to stay fit and active while traveling. I have not yet visited Peru, but hope to get there sometime within the next couple of years. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate the feedback! It’s my life and career and they kinda meld together as this crazy lifestyle so I’m just happy to share it and that you find it helpful! You definitely need to visit Peru 💯 I can give you pointers if you decide to go
YOU CAN VISIT IN LIMA MANY AMAZING PLACES MUSEO DEL ORO, ARQUEOLÓGICO, PARACAS DESERT, MIRAFLORES, SAN ISIDRO, BARRANCO, DISTRICTS, ETC. SURFING ALL YEAR AT OUR PACIFIC OCEAN, ENJOY THE BEST GASTRONOMY ALL OVER THE WORLD.
The "poor area" in Surquillo is not exactly poor, is just old, the majority of those houses are old and there are a lot of small businesses like bodegas, mechanical car shops, just small business and people dont paint the walls of their houses that is the reason all this part of Surquillo looks like that with expose bricks walls. The Major of Surquillo district needs to work on that.
Thanks for the information! We walked through it and it was verrrryyy old. Businesses without actual windows on their buildings and lots of trash laying around… stuff I saw a lot in Nicaragua and parts of Costa Rica and Colombia but not as much in Lima. There are always barrios like that - can’t wait to return to Lima! 👍🏼
Truthfully, up until this point it has been Colombia. But after going to the D.R. again and now Peru … especially Peru, the “developing country” starts to shine through much more in Barranquilla than it does in Lima. In Colombia, Medellin is a much better city than Barranquilla but it’s appeal is waning due to so many tourists (and many obnoxious ones!), rapidly rising costs, and increasing safety concerns. Mexico has always brought a strong argument, too. For me, Central America in general for me is just a few notches lower in comparison to South America. And there are more countries I have been waiting to go to in South America.
Hahaha NOPE. Because I didn’t plan on having a touristy trip until my girlfriend decided to come. I’m not normally big on history but it was cool and she really enjoyed it so it made it worth it
Lima really is a great place for digital nomads. Moving there in February full time 🔥
You’ve got that right! The one missing element for me is the weather. It’s too grey. Too “meh” weather wise. Everything else is awesome
@@jonathanells True. That’s the only downside, but every once in a while there’s a nice sunny day
Absolutely. And you don’t have to deal with year round bad humidity 👍🏼

What is your preferred country for residence so far?

Go to the markets, much better and fresher veggies and seafood and much cheaper
That is a fact!!! I couldn’t get over the hanging meats and chickens dripping blood on the cement, though 😂😂
You should try Santa Cruz Bolivia. It’s right next-door.
Next time in Peru, will definitely try Santa Cruz. The issue is, I try to choose coastal cities because I love the ocean
Bolivia is dangerous 🚨
I haven’t heard that specifically about Bolivia
Wow the sound of the earth so noisy.
🤔
Seems like you didn’t read or see nothing about Peruvian culture history before flying 😊
