Why did you not state the 2 big problems of the Xiaomi pro? The back light cable is still fragile, the locking ma chanism is weak and will wobble over time. Same problems as the non pro m365.
Fair comment, highly appreciated! The cable has been an issue for some, both the original and the Pro. However, I've never encountered that issue, only the latter one. In my video one year later with the original I've stated that wobble issue and a (cheap) solution for that. This new version, the PRO is solid! The first two tries folding it, the lever got really pushed in the inside of my hand and was very good in place. Now it's smoother, but no wobble effect :)
Martijn Wester I’ve had 2 pro scooters since I resell them. Both have wobble issue after a week or so. Ofcourse it is an easy fix but still bad out of the factory. For the cable it depends on the road conditions, small rocks will damage it quicker ofcourse. Thanks for your response, great video over all
@@MartijnWester Its merely a minor upgrade over the old model, so it will still suffer from the same constraints regardless of what the team has done to fix the folding mechanism bolt issue. I would suggest to get the Ninebot MAX & you will NEVER go back to the Xiaomi Pro, trust me! 😉🛴 Edit: I also have the Xiaomi Pro and I admit the revised version has fixed some of the issues that plagued the older model like the folding mechanism (time will tell), acceleration, range/mileage up to 45km, larger foot deck and also a proper LCD screen too! 😁🛴
@@sss6528 Your problem is that you're expecting perfection, on a relatively small budget. They probably could build the perfect scooter, for $5000, but nobody could buy it. Just accept that $300-500 is going to get you something very good, but not perfect
Ern Biscuit your comment doesnt make freaking sense. They know the problem on the older model so they should have fixed them with the newer model. That’s how it normally works when receiving feedback from your customers. It’s not a expensive fix as well. For 5$ they could use a more durable cable and folding mechanism.
I was sold on this scooter and was going to get it because you can hack the speed in the app but then I found out this has air tires instead of solid pneumatic tires. I am not trying to risk getting a flat and going through the hassle of buying spare tires/innertubes and fixing it.
I live on top of a hill and while it does struggle on a default mode it does the job perfectly on sports mode. Whnen it comes to battery it does suck a bit that it takes so long to charge but in most cases you should be okay with just charing overnight as you sleep anyway.
I put over 1312 KMS on mine since late last year. Took care of some issues and it's now going strong. Gongka reflash gets me 32 kph and faster acceleration.
The BIG issue with this scooter is that the performance decreases when your battery go lower than 30-40% to reserve battery. You will notice this when going up hill. Other than that, it's the best scooter on the market so far for its price.
At least it doesn't downgrade its hill incline speeds under 50% battery like the original Xiaomi M365 but I know the fact that the speed & hill incline grade will degrade right after it dips below 30% battery.

@Drone So They were for a long time, now there are some that are legal but with a ton of regulations which makes it so that the Xiaomi is still illegal. The scooters are only allowed to go 12 mph or 20 km/h and that needs to be the limit by how the scooter is build, so you're not just allowed to reduce the speed through and app or firmware, you need to pay for insurance for the scooter, for the scooter to be able to be insured it needs to have a vehicle registration, which is a long and costly process for the companies making them and is passed on to the consumer. To be able to ride them on the road (we are not allowed on sidewalks and trails) they also need a General Operating Permit which is also a long and costly processs and those costs are also passed on to the customer. This mess makes it so that we have to pay ~1000€ for a worse scooter than what people can get for 400€ in other places, we have to pay yearly insurance costs, aren't allowed to use trails, forest paths etc. Germany ruined electric scooters.
@@1brunoveiga No, you are allowed to own it but you're not allowed to drive it anywhere except private property. If you do drive anywhere but private property then yes the police can will stop you and you get fined a ton of money.

You should mention about one big problem with this scooter - bluetooth disconnects. Me and many other people have problem with connecting xiaomi app by bluetooth - I can't connect my android phone cuz everytime I do, it automatically disconnects. I tried all fixes I found in internet, but so far none of them worked for me.
I have also the Pro and use the Android App: "m365 Dashboard". I have it always connected to the scooter when riding it (also to prevent unwanted connects from other people - Known Security Issue) and it never disconnects. But it's important to not upgrade the firmware because otherwise this 3rd party APP wont work anymore.

The range is also a game changer too! Can save quite a lot of battery power thanks to the 3 new modes, and boy Sports mode is a must for hill inclines or cruising around faster hehe!! 😁🛴

Standard mode is useful whether you want normal speeds & this can tackle inclines up to 10° angles, but not above it. Useful for far longer ranges, Eco mode is too slow and its useless for hill inclines, but can be useful around towns & neighborhoods, but not along a long stretch of road or footpath. Yes, speed is excactly the same as the old m365 but you are forgetting the fact that the new new Accelerates faster than the previous version, and can last even longer thanks to 12.8 ah battery hehe!

I just bought one from Pure Electric, it's getting delivered tomorrow! next day delivery baby! 😍 Edit: I received it next day (today) at 10am, wasn't expecting such quick delivery from TNT parcel service, anyways I took the scooter out and set it up with the screws and all and charged it up full then took it for a ride, first thing I wanted to try was sport mode, I turned it on and pressed the throttle and HOOOLYYY FOK! The wheels spin if you don't put enough weight at the front that's how much power it has 😂 I was zooming down the me roads and was getting attention from everyone lined up at Tesco hehe.

There's another review of this scooter that takes the battery cover off to show that the Pro version scooter uses a sturdy metal casing for the battery pack, presumably to address the issues some people have had with the standard range version of this scooter where battery cells jiggled themselves apart, especially with modified scooters with solid tires that give increased vibration.
Why does the description in this store says at 1 point it has a 12.8AH battery and if you scroll down it says in the specs it only has 10.4AH that is a huge difference and kind of scammy

Have you ever replaced the tires of the original version?
It's pretty easy. Mine arrives this week, and I'm doing a complete overhaul/strengthening before hopping on it.

@@beankssiduous from what I gather, you'll likely get flats. So line those tires first, I'd recommend.
Try anti puncture tape. The kind for bicycles.

There's another review of this scooter that takes the battery cover off to show that the Pro version scooter uses a sturdy metal casing for the battery pack, presumably to address the issues some people have had with the standard range version of this scooter where battery cells jiggled themselves apart, especially with modified scooters with solid tires that give increased vibration.

Why does the description in this store says at 1 point it has a 12.8AH battery and if you scroll down it says in the specs it only has 10.4AH that is a huge difference and kind of scammy

I know in Amsterdam it's a bit more tricky, but I don't live or ride there luckily :) but about the eco stuff , yes you're right. Just sad the government doesn't change the laws sooner.

Here in Amsterdam it is indeed a bit more tricky.. There’s now even a Zero tolerance policy going on @ A’dam-Zuidoost. Still I come across these scooters more often every week and now I‘m very tempted to buy one aswell!

Segway manufacturers for Xiaomi so therefore the differences are minimal :)
