0:46 not just Apple but all other companies they are making camera bump bigger and biggest every year. I love this phones design 🥺 so precious perfect seamless.
Did I miss something here? 5:20 Zack: "Each cell or each half, has a typical capacity of 3525 milliamp hours" He says while pointing to the text (3468mAh) 🧐🤔
This cooling system is cool, but I have to wonder if it would be better suited to a tablet form factor. A larger, slower fan with more mass in the heatsink would not only be quieter, but also take longer to saturate. Mostly I just want a tablet with the SD8 Elite and this sort of styling that never overheats. I just got my 10 Pro today and I love it so far. Not having a camera bump almost feels alien on a modern phone.
This is one of those times I wish he actually did useful tests. Like he could test if the Liquid Metal cooling actually does something or if it’s just a marketing gimmick like the titanium on apple and Samsung phones. Or rather than speculating he could actually do a basic water test. I would love for him to replace the stupid flame test with a water test. This really sounded like him reading a company-provided stat sheet complete with quoting a different battery capacity than the one printed on the cells he’s holding.
So let me get this straight. The heat goes from the CPU into the vapor chamber, then into a layer of regular thermal paste, then into a layer of 'liquid' metal, then into the air duct? Seems sub optimal.
That's what got me thinking as well. I mean it does help with the heat, they said so (I have to take their word for this here as I don't have this phone myself and thus no way of testing myself), but it would have been awesome if they could've put the liquid metal where the thermal paste is. Maybe next time.
What's even funnier is the "liquid metal" sits under the fan, not touching the duct, where I'm not sure how the fan or the duct is cooling anything or conducting heat from the vapour chamber.
@@celestinonatale problem with liquid metal is simple: In pcs you get extra frames around cpus to prevent liquid metal from leaking when the device is held vertically, if you don`t have the extra frame your device follows some PS5s that had their liquid metal leaked and caused internal damage. In phones you want them to be as thin as possible, so adding such frames around fragile components would increase thickness. You saw in the video there was a ring around liquid metal on the fan. That`s why. Hope it`s clear now for you.
it wont be the best use case. It probably just a gimmick. But it still work, it just a phone anyway. It wont produce much heat. So adding slightly moving air that have metal contact to the cpu, when usually it enclosed in a glass is already making massive different in heat dissipation
