My wife’s very abusive ex was stalking her from before I even met her. She had restraining orders, they’d lock him up all the time and he’d be out in a couple days. It was constant. A police officer even told to be careful about this guy but wasn’t much they could do. Eventually, about 3 months into our relationship I had enough. I found out exactly where he was and made my now wife come with me because I needed her to see it to take his power from over her away because she was very scared of him. I knocked out 8 of his teeth, broke his jaw, his nose, apparently a few ribs, dislocated his shoulder, etc. I worked him over pretty good. And I also wanted her there too for him to see her seeing himself in that position. He needed to know that her seeing him like that she no longer sees him as this unstoppable, almost mythical like tough guy figure. I had absolutely expected to be arrested or have to deal with him again in some way, but ..nothing. He didn’t even tell the police who did it. That was 7 years ago and not a peep from him since. Hopefully it stays that way. Woman beaters, stalkers, etc. are cowards.
I was 18, in the university. Helped a fellow student to pass an exam that he failed already twice. He somehow had the impression that I helped him because I was interested in him, which was not the case, because I was helping at the same time at least 8 other students. 4 months of threatenings, followed. I went to the police and they totally ignored me. I had to ask my father to help me, because there was no other way. I gave my father his number and the dude wanted to tell my father that we were having s*x, which was not the true. My father told him that he didn't give a f*ck to listen to his lies and that if he was going to contact me again, he would be dead. After three years he hasn't threaten me again.
Yeah that is shocking. You should be in jail. All that just to prove something, shameful. Enough with this violence, it is unhealthy and there’s no coming back.

I cringed when you mentioned Sapporo as I went to an international school there for high school & consider the city my second home. I hate to think someone so vile had been hiding there less than 10 years prior. Also, +thank you+ for pronouncing Sapporo correctly. Holy guacamole, no one ever does. With that being said, I am appalled by Shiori's treatment & wish her situation could be considered an outlier. It reminds me of the case of a singer who was attacked by an obsessed fan who had stalked her on Twitter before escalating it. She survived her attack, but the police's response was similar. Thank you for covering this case as I had never heard Shiori's story before.
@fulanichild3138 Right?? I recently watched a video on another channel where the narrator repeatedly pronounced the type of gaming center/café incorrectly probably 50+ times. It was painful to sit through. I understand it's not possible for one person to be an expert on every language, but it also takes 2 seconds to look up the correct pronunciation for a person/place you'll be mentioning in your video & at least showing that much effort.🤐
The usual "we can't do anything until something happens" and then they doubled it down by also trying to tarnish the reputation of the victim and her family. WTF???
What a loser this guy is. How could anyone demand that the relationship continue. How could anyone want to stay in a relationship where the partner doesn’t want to be with them.
Because it isnt about love with these guys (narcissists), its about control. Something our normal minds cant fathom really well, but to certain people love equals as owning you and their minds can do amazing gymnastics. Difficult, dangerous peeps.

You would think after so many cases near identical to this (stalker turned murderer) that there would be something more to stop it. I don't know what kind of morons work at these police agencies too "Alright, we fucked up by essentially ignoring what was obviously going to escalate into a murder. So should we A: Do everything we can to find the killer and apologise profusely for our major fuck up OR B: Lie about the victim slander their name and try to damage control." some are completely useless when some real sh*t goes down.
Hey didn't expect to see you here my favorite South Park reactor lol
With how advanced technology is it's not as easy anymore for sexual related crimes to go unsolved
A case that is still much talked about in Japan. Thanks Kyle for bringing this to the attention to the Western audience!!
What is the point of having police if they refuse to help 🤔
Amazing yet sad video. Thank you for doing research on your content and sharing it. Some creators leave things out and literally have done zero research on some of their content. You are appreciated 💃
People like Kiyoshi Shimizu restores faith in humanity
It’s so refreshing hearing about a journalist working to expose the corruption and failures of the police and government instead of constantly glorifying them!
"Posted 13 seconds ago" You post, I click.. it's simple!
@Ddid-I-Ssttutttter…❤
what a great journalist! Without him these criminals would all have gone scotfree.
I think the system and the justices are a complete joke when it comes to certain things
I noticed his Japanese pronunciation was quite good. It's so common to hear mangled names and words. Some people make no effort at all.
WTF???
Thank-you Kyle for great story telling.
It makes me angry to know that there are corrupt, lazy, lying cops everywhere.
I've been binge watching your videos and can't sleep.
Kudos to the journalist for exposing the truth
What a loser this guy is. How could anyone demand that the relationship continue. How could anyone want to stay in a relationship where the partner doesn’t want to be with them.
Because it isnt about love with these guys (narcissists), its about control. Something our normal minds cant fathom really well, but to certain people love equals as owning you and their minds can do amazing gymnastics. Difficult, dangerous peeps.
Because for these types of guys it isn’t about love it’s about control.
@Jane Miettinen Spot on👍 I just commented then read your reply and our first sentence is the exact same. 👍
@@myeyeswentdeaf6213 Hey, Im just happy more and more people are aware of this! This is something everybody should know, boys and girls. Getting stuck with narcissist is always unpleasant, but deadly in the worst case. Keep spreading the knowledge, thats all we can do.
Im so angry, she tried to take the right steps to create space between them, but still lost her life! And the aftermath was totally uncalled for.. aaargh!
Japan cops not helping victim is such a *big brain* move. Keeping it real to make sure the crimes are low by not giving a faq.
Hey Kyle thank you so much for the wonderful videos. I love your channel and you make me laugh at times. Keep up the great work sweetheart ... this story is sad to hear about this poor girl. There is a lot of stalking that happens out there and its scary ...
Exactly. I am just surprised the Police did not act early enough.
@@truecrimescafe It is always the case that these poor girls, or anyone being stalked are not taken seriously. The police are to blame a lot of times for neglect and ignoring the poor girls pleas. They eventually changed the law about stalking but too little too late and the horse has got out of the stable after the barn doors were closed. Typical shoddy police work and people are failed as they lose their lives and they don't care about anyone. I feel for her poor parents as they lost their beautiful daughter to a raving lunatic.
@@truecrimescafe Police don't act, they react, sadly.
They don't ever prevent crime, their job is only to facilitate punishment for it. I hate them for their uselessness. What does it help the victim that someone goes to prison AFTER they are hurt or killed? Nothing, absolutely fucking nothing.
Cases like this always prove the point that just because certain places have certain things outlawed, doesnt mean the law(including the system and police) isnt a mess
That reporter is a hero!!!! He risked his own life to go after evil monsters who hurt that girl and her family
Look at all the people who let this happen, all those people and all that power. And just one journalist changed everything and brought her justice. Wild.
Much praise to that one journalist for seeing the truth and making things happen!
Japan better get their sh1t together on this stalker business, they have no excuse for failing this hard!
Oh shit ,almost forgot! That journalist is remarkable and a hero. Imagine if no one knew the truth and nothing war done post case , GJ journalist guy. You're pretty fucking awesome .
CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT STORY. ❤ THANK YOU FOR THIS ONE.
Great video man! 👏🏼
Recently I've been watching quite a few of your videos and frankly I'm pretty impressed. You do a damn good job of fitting it all together! I look forward to seeing new videos of yours when they premier. Kudos my friend 👍🏻👍🏻
Oooh Hat's off for the briliant Journalist , who brought truth to the open 👍
. Im appreciative of this because when my dad was alive, he watched japanese news to keep up with his place of origin. I feel like his spirits home when you do these videos about japanese crime. Just a nice happy memory of dad.
This is so sad. An innocent person just died for no reason. So many evils on this planet.. i hope she’s resting in peace now.
It’s sad that there can be so many obvious flags but until they hurt you or break into your home as a woman there is actually very little we can do to deal with being stalked and harassed, until it’s too late. And once it’s too late you could be anywhere From extremely hurt in a life changing way to dead
Stay strapped. Thats what i do
You can carry a firearm
@@SpicyTexan64not everywhere... not in Japan, not in the UK and many other places in Europe etc. Not everyone is from America, and not everyone in America can easily obtain a firearm or keep it on them legally
Just found you, appreciate the different types of stories and your presentation style. 🙏🏽
I havent watched this particular video yet, but i wanted to give a general commentary:
Thank you for presenting these topics kindly. I noticed that you respect the way people address themselves and dont make a lot of jokes at the victims' expense. Thats really awesome.
Fuck yes, my favorite channel, new video.... going to be a good day!
The police failed Shiori and her family. Rest in peace.
Did rhe family sue them?
So maddening no one even the cops didn't help the victim. I feel horrible for this beautiful poor lady. She met with evil who only cared(s) about himself. So sad. RIP Angel 🕊💐🕊
Thank you Kyle for the light shone on this devastating story. 👍👊🩵
God bless 👑🙏🕊💛💛
It is sometimes very surprising that the Police sometimes do not act on such things until the irreversible damage has been done.
Japan is a sexist country Im not surprised they done nothing - I bet in they opinion what he was doing was fine... Until they had a body and had to say something about it to news
really? Cops are inherently reactionary, they are never proactive and are designed to react to crime rather than to prevent it.
That's part of why leftists hate them and want to replace them with community defense groups instead.
Then they only pretend to care to save their jobs. They're crooks. 🤪
and in this case, the "act" was "covering our own ass and slandering the victim until our corruption can no longer be hidden"
Awesome Video as Always. Thank U Sir🤘💙
Dude did all that mess to the poor woman then took his own life when his goons murdered her. What a 🐱
Rock on with your amazing work 😊❤
Kiyoshi Shimizu is a true hero. He stood up for Shiomi and her family when everyone else, including those who were supposed to uphold the law and justice, were trying to only look into covering up their own mistakes! That takes a lot of courage, wisdom and compassion we need more people like him. Where ever you are I love you 💕
Japan is notorious for not reporting and covering up their mistakes when it comes to the police. They don’t want the embarrassment…yet some of the most horrific cases come from Japan. Kudos to that journalist for clearing her name and outing the truth. I cant even imagine the hell her parents had to go through. Rest in peace sweet girl.
Great video Kyle! I love the cases that you cover that are international and no one else covers. It's very interesting to see how other country's laws are so different then ours
Yessssss been waiting for the next upload
Shit like this is why acab, they literally said "we're not gonna help you because your case would hurt our reputation"
Great work by the journalist
Appreciate how well you handle the pronunciations when it comes to Japanese.
Might be a difficult thing for many, and that's often made very clear with their attempts
Not the case here 😄
On a more serious note:
I sort of expect most videos from channels like this to end badly/in tragedy
Seeing positive effects like the journalist being rewarded for his work bringing everything to light makes me feel a bit better, at least
I kind of get the impression stalking is much more socially accepted in Japan and probably most Asian countries
It is heartbreaking to know that all this could have been avoided, if only police did their job instead of shaming the family.
I can’t believe I missed this! I watch your videos the moment you post them.
I just discovered your channel and am addicted! So detailed and well researched~
Its insane how many people actively helped this psycho stalker!
Thanks for sharing a lesser known incident with empathy for the victim's loved ones. Would love to hear of more Asian incidents. Take care, dude
Missed you. Hope u heen feeling good. You do amazing work!!! Thank you Kyle!!! ❤
May she rest in peace and Fly High 🕊 long live shiori❤
Amen 🙏🏼
I am so scared this will happen to me, there are 3 main stalkers threatening to hurt me and police told me it was my fault because I exist online. I am terrified
Call me crazy but I wish I had a time machine so I can go back and save a lot of people she'd be one of them❤
Not crazy at all, the fact the evil people get more defense than the victims, I would definitely go back and save ppl.
This world is messed up I lost faith in humanity
As always with these cases, I'm glad I wasn't in need of police help in Japan during the late 19s/early 2000s...
Or America now.
The journalist who exposed all this was a good man. Thank goodness for brave people who have a conscience like him.
You would think after so many cases near identical to this (stalker turned murderer) that there would be something more to stop it.
I don't know what kind of morons work at these police agencies too "Alright, we fucked up by essentially ignoring what was obviously going to escalate into a murder. So should we A: Do everything we can to find the killer and apologise profusely for our major fuck up OR B: Lie about the victim slander their name and try to damage control."
And no one goes "Man, B sounds like it'll ruin our reputation more and land us in a possible hellish lawsuit."
Wow, horrendous situation!
The police is complicit. To protect and to serve, right?
The police are only for the rich
You're so fluent in the enunciation- I take it you lived there? I've seen your other videos from Asian countries & you're always so fluid in your diction. Did you grow up in that culture? Love it❤! I've been subbed to you for a few yrs & love your content(not the same old stuff). Keep up the great work!
This is one of the most disturbed stalking cases I’ve ever heard. The entire police department that dealt with her should be fired. This is why a lot of women won’t date men they don’t know. This is horrible - worst case scenario of what can happen when you date a lunatic man
your presentation is wonderful. Much love. ❤
Why do they even have a police force there if the mothertruckers aren’t going to do their job? 🤦🏼♀️🤬 and then to victim blame/shame is just disgusting. So damn sad!
Love your work. Oh, and the cool blazer and casual t- shirt look: 10/10!!
Keep up the excellent content!!
Terrible police work. That poor girl. The world is a dangerous place for women.
Agreed, that poor woman... Rip
She's in better place
Awesome as usual . Well done 👍
I love your channel. Always great videos. Very impressed ❤❤
Someone might have been paying off the police station or they were being blackmailed with pictures of them at those brothels.
Great vid! Love your stuff thanks!
This one was particularly difficult to listen to. I was filled with rage though most of it. This poor family.
