      Aside from Shohiro and her family he’s the only one who sided with truth and he was awarded for with all sorts of journalistic awards while the other newspapers looked like trash after, the police were charged, the police station destroyed its reputation, the stalker ends up face down in a lake drowned himself and his scumbag friends and brother went to prison. Just goes to show that the truth will ALWAYS come out.

    My wife’s very abusive ex was stalking her from before I even met her. She had restraining orders, they’d lock him up all the time and he’d be out in a couple days. It was constant. A police officer even told to be careful about this guy but wasn’t much they could do. Eventually, about 3 months into our relationship I had enough. I found out exactly where he was and made my now wife come with me because I needed her to see it to take his power from over her away because she was very scared of him. I knocked out 8 of his teeth, broke his jaw, his nose, apparently a few ribs, dislocated his shoulder, etc. I worked him over pretty good. And I also wanted her there too for him to see her seeing himself in that position. He needed to know that her seeing him like that she no longer sees him as this unstoppable, almost mythical like tough guy figure. I had absolutely expected to be arrested or have to deal with him again in some way, but ..nothing. He didn’t even tell the police who did it. That was 7 years ago and not a peep from him since. Hopefully it stays that way. Woman beaters, stalkers, etc. are cowards.

      I was 18, in the university. Helped a fellow student to pass an exam that he failed already twice. He somehow had the impression that I helped him because I was interested in him, which was not the case, because I was helping at the same time at least 8 other students. 4 months of threatenings, followed. I went to the police and they totally ignored me. I had to ask my father to help me, because there was no other way. I gave my father his number and the dude wanted to tell my father that we were having s*x, which was not the true. My father told him that he didn't give a f*ck to listen to his lies and that if he was going to contact me again, he would be dead. After three years he hasn't threaten me again.

      ‼️Well as the police once told me "being creepy isn't a crime call us when a real crime has been committed". It isn't illegal to stand on the sidewalk outside of someone's house 24/7 and it isn't illegal to follow them around. As long as you don't physically touch them there's nothing the police can do. They can't arrest you because they believe you **might** commit a crime in the future. It's up to the legislative to make new laws that make it illegal to purposefully follow someone or stand outside their house. But until that happens there's nothing anyone can do as long as they don't physically touch you. They can't make being creepy a crime. They don't have the resources to even enforce that. And stalkers have been shown to not care about legal consequences anyway. They can't lock someone up for life for stalking so when they get out they will go right back to it.

    • @MusicLeeSarah
      @MusicLeeSarah Рік тому

      @@WhitneyDahlin communicating threats. It doesn't take them touching you to prompt a restraining order or I start day they can also be communicating threats or disturbing your peace or put you in fear of loss of property and also in fear that ur not safe. You have to convince a judge ur reasons for being in fear are valid.
      I think the worst part about all of it is is that if your harasser and or stalker doesn't have like your home address or maybe they don't have your work address or maybe they don't know ur work hours like you have to give all of that information so they know when and where they are not supposed to be somewhere, which is where you are. But by doing this you're also letting them know when and where you'll be at all times, essentially. This is a reason I didn't put out an ex parte on a psycho harassing me because she did not know my new address and I I got a second job and my work schedule changed. I didn't want to just hand all of that information over to her. Now I know if you're a battered spouse and you are in a safe house that location can stay confidential.

      @@truecrimescafe It is always the case that these poor girls, or anyone being stalked are not taken seriously. The police are to blame a lot of times for neglect and ignoring the poor girls pleas. They eventually changed the law about stalking but too little too late and the horse has got out of the stable after the barn doors were closed. Typical shoddy police work and people are failed as they lose their lives and they don't care about anyone. I feel for her poor parents as they lost their beautiful daughter to a raving lunatic.

    You would think after so many cases near identical to this (stalker turned murderer) that there would be something more to stop it.
    I don't know what kind of morons work at these police agencies too "Alright, we fucked up by essentially ignoring what was obviously going to escalate into a murder. So should we A: Do everything we can to find the killer and apologise profusely for our major fuck up OR B: Lie about the victim slander their name and try to damage control."
    And no one goes "Man, B sounds like it'll ruin our reputation more and land us in a possible hellish lawsuit."
