The Backshop or Engine shop by Walthers is 💯 inspiring & its a winner as of this comment I am arranging My platform side layout yard like.of birch plywood in multiple layers i am gluing up individually they're light but strong. I grew up with Conrail & my later days of travel by Amtrak to Canada my live for The CN & other Canadian railroads as well. I definitely am watching your work on this train system &: I thank you during the 2023 holiday season. Happy model railroading will keep watching.. Harold CN etc.
Layout is looking great! I think your locomotive paint jobs are really nice. Better then mine. :/ Don't sweet the little things that you can not control. It will take the fun out of the hobby. I had not even noticed the cab issue until you pointed it out. I have a few locomotives that have what we will call " top secret features ". :) How ever, if you have a few locomotives that you just can not live with the " top secret features ", feel free to send them over to the Val Valley RR. We will put them to work! :)
From China ... We honest.. company name , pretty cheap and good quality. Sensor's either gates or lit cross bucks. I bought a lot . They have circuit boards for sounds, LEDs .. if not NJ international is expensive so I'd go with we honest lol... Great 👍 layout keep it up I like the old abandoned rail , joe
Thank you! I really need to find a good microphone to use with my phone for recording these as Its hard to get the sound levels right when editing. When in doubt I tend to go lower rather than have it be way too loud.
I did same thing in my closet running through so I'm in the process of ripping old track and making wider 24-30 ° cause I derail on my steam and and 3 truck diesels . And it's a pain in the ass to reach and my closet coming out I did my farm seen which has to be all redone... Square room of 13 ft by 2.5 plus 10 ' × 8 in the middle and my elevated subway is on top 4+8 b7t redoing I guess the whole thing... Not looking forward to this..., joe

Ripping things apart and redoing them is the worst part by far but is well worth it to fix operational issues.
