Yep, it works great. I use larger paint reservoirs and disconnect the whole thing from the gun body to refill. This way, if you can't strain your paint, you can keep swapping the filters, wash them later, and keep moving. For up to home size projects, I love it.

I have one in my work truck. People this is a tool for making money doing small repairs. Obviously youre not supposed to paint a house with it but if you replace like 10 siding boards or some cedar shake its 10 times faster than rolling. Its not meant for big walls because the pump life is only rated for about 25 gallons of paint. Theyre expensive at $700 so its really just a tool for professionals to make money nothing else.
1st person who actually sounds like they know. And your right. Small stuff. Quick to use. Keep it clean. Sits on the shelf next to the hvlp, graco 390 lacquer only rig, titan 1150 and the gas 5500 for the big stuff. Had a 1st series too and this version works much better. Much less of a spray pattern fluctuation.🍻

Anyone know how easy this is to clean? I use a two part apoxy on fire hydrants and I’ve been thinking about getting a battery powered sprayer and I have a stack of dewalt batteries
The sprayer in this video costs around $600-$700 depending on which version you pick and is really only suited for smaller jobs such as painting trim and doors. It is powerful enough to push unthinned latex paint like you would want to do for painting walls and ceilings, but this unit’s limitations will be the reservoir size and constant refilling needed to paint even just 1 room. A better option would be a Graco X5 or X7 which costs around $330-$400. The X5 and 7 are both stationary units that siphon directly out of a bucket of paint so you don’t have to refill a small reservoir for larger jobs. The X5 and 7 are cheaper units designed for homeowner and DIY usage- you could paint your entire house inside and out with them, as well as handling a few other projects. They aren’t going to have the longevity and power of a professional sprayer but they also don’t have the large price to match. Hope that helps, and good luck with your project

Exactly
For $200 I'd buy the magnum graco
@Bobpam Harrison agreed mine has been bulletproof ever since I bought it
I replaced the pump on mine for about $170 dollars - tax included
Should of bought another one instead of rebuilding it
