    Lyrics:
    I remember every little thing
As if it happened only yesterday
    Parking by the lake
And there was not another car in sight
And I never had a girl
Looking any better than you did
And all the kids at school
They were wishing they were me that night
And now our bodies are, oh, so close and tight
It never felt so good, it never felt so right
And we're glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife
Glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife
    C'mon, hold on tight
    C'mon, hold on tight
Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night
I can see paradise by the dashboard light

My wife was the lead singer of a lounge band in the '80s. Several times late in the evening, my wife and myself would cover this. While she had the voice of an angel and I admit I not the best singer but when on that little stage there was no one better in the world. Unfortunately she was taken away from me in an auto accident. Every time I hear this I can feel her right beside with a wide smile and her eyes beaming. God knows I miss her. RIP LeAnna I still love you and miss you every day of life

In BOOH 2 Back in to Hell the female on track Anything For Love was a woman named Ms Loud. In the video, it’s a model again lip synching again. Meatloaf was black balled by the music industry but he proved them wrong and sold millions of records. If I had any objections to his recordings it is they are a little too long, but they are like an opera. I didn't like the baseball commentary as it had no meaning for this recording. BTW-I'm over 77.

My wife and I met in high school and this was our fun song when we "hooked up". So before our first time she brought up this song and said "hey you have to love me for the rest of your life"......and of course I said yes. We loved the Bat out of Hell cassette. I still have it. We have been married for 38 years now and I still love her so much. Thanks for the fun songs that were part of our growing up Meatloaf. RIP

RIP Meatloaf. You were the soundtrack to our lives. “We’re glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife” “we were barely seventeen and we were barely dressed” “ I wanna make your motor run” “Will you love me forever?” “Baby baby let me sleep on it. I’ll give you an answer in the morning” “ I swore I would love you til the end of time.” “ Now I’m praying for the end of time to hurry up and arrive” “”cause if I gotta spend another minute with you I don’t think that I can Really survive. I’ll never break my promise or forget my vow but God only knows what I can do right now. ““I’m praying for the end of time so that I can end my time with you”
“It was long ago and it was far away and it was so much better than it is today”
An ode to youthful passion. Thank you, Meatloaf.
