Ppl's comments...we obviously dont have ALL the ingredients but she gave us idea's and you can modify to your pantry. Jeez ppl...
yass! I don't even have ALL the ingredients for ALL these recipes 😘😘
love this format of video, it's so natural! I'm a Canadian nurse stuck in quarantine at home since I was exposed to a positive patient, and this will be great inspiration for the next two weeks! I'm only on day 2 of 14 haha
The soup looks good. I have ravioli I think that would work too.
Your videos are making the isolation better. Loving your videos from Australia
😘😘
When i was cravin the puttenesca and realized you dont have the ingredients once this isolation is over im making this and the gyoza soup didnt know frozen mushrooms existed would must try
Eggs, seaweed, and rice (sticky rice if I have it) are one of my favorite dishes to make! So easy, and it tastes delicious. So thankful for your positivity ❤️
Your voice is so calm and smooth, it is really relaxing to listen to you 😌 and thank you for the recipes, I’m definitely gonna try them out !!
Thanks for watching!!
I love these recipes!! I love trying out new or different recipe ideas! Thank you!
The sliders looked amazing! 😋
My first thought after reading the title: "Self-isolation during Corona virus pandemic"
Dzung, your videos have been keeping me going in this time. I find them so comforting
Thank you for some great simple meal ideas!!!
Following you since more than 2 years & I just love your channel ❤ Great recipes & you've such a nice personality! Keep going on and stay healthy!
This is a great idea! I appreciate using what we have and shop from the pantry right now
This is the filming style I love seeing from you!!! Thank you for the delicious recipes!!!
Yums! Can’t wait to recreate some of them for my work lunch/dinner 😍
Your recipes are so comforting. I often made them when I was in college. 💙
I’ve been dying to make ramen at home but never had the guts to try it. This one looks pretty simple. I also loved that past dish! I’m a total olive lover!! 😋
yass i love your videos and your cooking series recently !
can't remember if you ever did it but i would be really interested in a video about shopping for the most important asian produces to always have in the pantry, thanks in advance
bleumarin1968 yes! Half of these recipes have an Asian ingredient I don’t own and can’t get right now
@@ameliagrein5070 am glad i am not the only one to be wanting a video like this !!
bleumarin1968 love this idea!
Love the video!! You gave me some nice ideas. I shared it with a couple of my friends and my family because it looks absolutely delicious. Keep up the great work and I hope you have a fabulous day!! Sending love from Canada
your voice is so calm. i just love it.
I am definitely ordering your cookbook after watching this video. The recipes look delicious and simple enough for me to follow along 😊 I am super excited to try them!
I loved all the recipes in here and I can’t wait to make them 😍
Your voice is soothing and doing all your recipes as they seem super easy and tasty!
your videos add such a light during this time :)
The Thai curry noodle soup looks so good! I love all curries. All the dishes look delicious and I want to make them all. The butane cooktop is on my wish list too.
you are really talented! thank you
I had some frozen pork gyoza i made myself from scratch two months ago and i was finally able to use them with your soup! Like everyone else im stuck in quarantine and was digging in the back of the freezer and fridge. I didnt have mushrooms so i used cauliflower since i felt you would get the sameish mouth feel. Everything else was nearly the same i combined miso and chicken broth and used hot oil instead of sesame oil since they are basically the same but mine was with a little spice. It was so good! and it came out really pretty! Cauliflower, broccoli, bok choy, spring onion and pork gyoza soup yum!
I love how you're so positive
Just made the eggs and rice and they’re soooo good!! I usually just do a scramble with some dashes of Maggi on top but will definitely use your version for when I’m feeling fancy
Lovely
just what i needed today!
I've tried the egg and rice recipe and it's a game-changer. I'm used to having cheese rice or cheese grits with my breakfast since both my parents grew up in country towns in Mississippi, but the eggs turned out so much better than I thought. I kept the rice plain since I wasn't sure how cheese would go with it. Might try it out, but as is it was great!
I made rice and fried eggs yesterday morning for my kids for breakfast it was my baby boy birthday big 2.
Janelle Khan,
🎈🎈 " Happy Birthday to your son and to you for being his Mom.
I enjoy fried eggs over rice, too. " 🎈🎈
I saw the eggs and rice and I parked! I love breakfast at anytime of the day and putting different veggies to it. Thank you.
Ok. Had to pullover for the ramen. Thanks again!
I just found your channel and instead of bingeing Netflix today I'm watching you lol! Those eggs look sooo good and I'm gonna try those next time!
I see what you did here, only because I’ve watched literally ALL your videos. Super smart. Thank you for continuing to post content 💗
I loved all the Asian recipes you showcased in this video, Dzung! I think I have all the ingredients or can sub similar items for the the first recipe. The 2nd one, well, I still have yet to venture out to get more eggs. But I do love me some eggs and I really liked how you made it. Finally, anything Thai has got to be good. Unfortunately, I used up my last bit of red curry for a Laotian dish so I'll need to go get more. But yummikins! BTW, I'm planting lemongrass this year. I did it last year and enjoyed it so I'm giving it another go along with basil and hot peppers.
I love listening to your voice :) so sweet !!!
This is an advice for all of you (I’m italian), when you cook pasta cook it separately (boil water in a deep pot, then add some salt and the pasta, cook until al dente) then add it to the sauce♥️.
That’s good idea!
"recipies using ingredients you already have" uhm i dont buy any of this stuff 😭😂
They are still fun to watch. Even if you don't. lol.
Same
I don’t usually have lemongrass and kafir lime leaves laying around... but I wish I did 💕
I'm drooling over here!
I might gonna try the rice and egg..easy and yuummm hahahah
Thanks Dzung❤️
@10:17 I think you mean tamagoyaki 😝 everything looks so good! I grew up eating puttanesca (my mom’s is sooo good) and now, I really want it 🤤
Potsticker😋👌🏼soup!
I made the pasta alla puttanesca. It was DIVINE 😍
I love your channel
Before the video: "Using ingredients you have at home"
After the video: Rice and eggs it is..
Seriously craving ramen now though!
Life With Leeanna ahaha same making the rice and eggs 😅
Came for the cooking, stayed for the great camera work!
I don't know why people don't cook with pork and turkey more often. I make Pork bugers. You can do the same with pork as you can beef.I even made hambuger helper with ground pork. You couldn't tell the difference. 🙂 The other white meat is so much better for you then Red meats. Plus some people are getting allrergic to Beef now from those tick bites. I am. I can't do beef anymore it makes me sick. I get pot stickers sometimes. Never thought of making soups from them. Everything looked good. ☺️❤️ I never would of thought of eggs with rice. That actually sounds good. I may have to try that one. I was so happy when I seen frozen mushrooms. Our walmart carries them. 🙂
I think it's because of the negativity surrounding it from Muslims, Jews, etc., thousands of years. It seeps into mainstream. It's a great, flavorful meat (sausage, bacon, pork belly, etc.). That's why Asian peeps love it. We love flavor and fat. LOL
Probably late comment but let me just add few comments. Because pork is considered unclean, non halal food for muslims and jews. Speaking from my experience being Indonesian and live in muslim majority country, it is quite a job to find pork here, as it is not freely sold in supermarket, only few of them sold in supermarket here. You’ll most likely find them from bataknese butcher, as my ethnicity is bataknese and christians, because we consumed pork here besides manadonese, christians and other non muslim religions.
@@taridaisabella7732 Pork really isn't unclean anymore though. I'm neither one of them. So I will have my Pork. Lol.
Thai basil or even regular basil would be a good substitute for the cilantro.
Wow they look so yummy. I will try this mini burger.🍔But the other foods of course, too 😅😚
😘😘
@@honeysuckle the recipe for the Turkey slider is not on your blog 😥
I was gg nuts trying find something to make too tired to cook alot and then i saw your white rice and omelet recipe dinner picked 💕😋🤤
Those turkey sliders look so cute and delish but I checked under every category on your blog and could not find the recipe :( ! I rarely eat meat but when I do, I only eat turkey or chicken so I really wanted to save this recipe!
That gyoza soup is so easy.
Mince meat is in damand here in Australia. It's very hard to find. Hahahah
I remember my mum making the eggs with fish sauce and peanuts.
Um she seems sweet but i don't think she knows what a normal average house pantry look like. The only relatable recipe was the egg dish. Which looks amazing
I guess it depends where you're from, I always have the ingredients for the pasta in my pantry, for example.
I have stuff like this in my pantry but I'm also using it see what I could replace things with. Using it more as inspiration. Definitely giving me ideas for my family's dinners
It really depends, some people have basically empty pantries, some have a lot of weird random and/or canned stuff XD for me personally I had these olives and frozen mushtooms that I didnt know how to use and the only things i didnt have were garlic and those buns😅
Agreed, she seems a bit out of touch.
When you usually Cook at home, your pantry isn't just eggs.
It's not about being out of touch. It's about your usual lifestyle regarding cooking. And I would highly recommend to stock up on some staples like flour sugar pasta and a few canned/jarred ingredients!
Our tastes change when we grow up 😊
I loved the video, but my heart broke when she broke the pasta! Italian feelings LOL
I loved that
I am really afraid of the food crisis and been cutting all my intake
We will get through this as we always do as a nation. Don’t worry.
@@kimberlyy911 thank you for your kind reply, but I'm Brazilian and things are looking bad for the future
It's great to know that are people helping and encourage each other anyway
Thank you
The oishi scrambler is about to become a staple for me, perfect for college life lol
Super
Cool content
MOST USEFUL V IDEO IV EVER SEEN THANK YOUUU
By cooking the ramen straight in the broth, did it add that flour like flavor to the soup? I used a different type of ramen also produced by Sun and it has that flour taste to it, so I separately cook it first before adding it with soup.
if i dont take mustard, will the patty end up having vy strong mustard?or should i jus skip the mustard any replacement?
yes i have worcester sauce in my pantry
Can you make a video on how to make homemade rolls.
Please do more videos like this also will you have the recipes did I miss them
Egg and rice is the best combination tbh
I want that ramen but I definitely don’t have any of the ingredients :( dang
Me too :( but if you ever get the chance you should definitely get some frozen chopped lemongrass at an Asian market, it lasts forever and is perfect for soups, chicken wings, shrimp, fried rice, etc. I use it all the time in my cooking! I also have keep a kaffir lime plant in my kitchen :) they are both such underrated ingredients but work so well together
Ellie Mumma thank you for the great tips :)
can you please do more smoothies
I can’t find the slider recipe in your blog 🙁 pls share a link 🙏🏽
Do you have the recipes listed anywhere with measurements?
The cheese crisp looks great, but VERY different from actual cheese curds. I'm a Wisconsinite, so we are cheese curd experts! You should try some. They are AMAAAZING fresh or fried.
Daniela Anderson-Fernandez I believe she said cheese skirt not cheese curd.
11:38 🤤 I eat so much home-made Thai curry during this lock down 😂 and I also just posted my favorite recipe on my UA-cam channel (ready in under 20min 🤯) 🖤🌿
🤤🤤🤤
I can’t find these recipes on the blog..
I like to see judge some deviled eggs for easter go to stores in your area and do a little taste test
I don´t like that I´ve never watch her videos before and somehow I was suscribed to the channel
Really good title choice! Unlike some other creators that titled their videos something like, “QUARANTINE HAUL!!” 😩🤦🏻♀️
Where is the recipe for the sliders? Thanks so much.
The food you make is really tasty but I dont have all the ingredients at the same time😅😁
I can’t find the burger recipe on your blog
idk if its just me but i think she used the same film from the simple one pot pasta recipe video for the part on spaghetti alla puttanesca haha
Can u make more recipes with beef and pork? There is absolutely no chicken at my grocery store so I need new ideas! Thank You! Stay Safe!
I actually just released a pork video! ua-cam.com/video/4c6IcKCwd30/v-deo.html
COLOMBIANS know that eggs & rice (arroz con huevo) is the best dinner ever!
"using what u have" and using anchovy :) yea sure!
Why in America you don't just boil water and cook pasta in there. It takes the same time (10 minutes more or less) , but the flavour will be amazing . Also puttanesca doesn't need that much tomato sauce, you could even substitute it with cherry tomatoes and not parsley but origano and not parmesan (unless you like, but that's a bit weird in puttanesca eheh) :)
Despite the pasta, I love the other recipes and I will definitely try it^^
Showing isolated Australians that fresh Hawaiian ramen was a form of cruel and unusual punishment I wasn't ready for.
where are the potstickers from?
Trader Joe's
Hey guys question do you know why she uses that individual burner thing to cook? Why not just use the stove? I’m not good in the kitchen but just wondering what the purpose of using those are. Thank you!
Easier to film!
why do i always do this to myself it's 1am
I want to eat all of this.
But whhhyyyyyyyyyyyy did you break the spaghetti? 🥺😭
🤤🤤🤤
i cried when she broke the pasta in half
Tamago means egg in Japanese
What kind of pickles do you get? :)
i wish the groceries have enough food for cook
