Tuna and egg salad sandwiches are super underrated. You can keep them simple and they're great or jazz them up and make them amazing. These all looked great but I know I would have gone straight for that tuna.

You used asparagus, but I used zucchini, red bell pepper and dried tomatoes. I was surprised by how simple and delicious it was, so thank you so much for inspiration. Next time I’d love to try your tuna sandwich - with greek yogurt and dill

@@jamiecee4960 yeah I know they’re such a staple sandwich! But when I was younger, my dad was hospitalized and all he ate was tuna sandwiches. He’d tell me how he couldn’t stomach it at all so I ended up just never trying it 🤭
Sliced avocado is definitely more appealing to the eye but sometimes it can tend to slide out and your sandwich will fall apart! Sometimes its best just to put mashed on there even if it doesn't look as pretty lol

To make the Sandwiches even more healthy you can substitute the Mayo with Sour Cream, some salt and pepper and you dont taste any big difference to the Mayo (in Germany i would say Schmand, but Sour Cream is the nearest to it) ;)

You could make your own pesto and sub the nuts for things like sunflower seeds or pepitas if that's not an allergy concern for you :)

its avocado oil mayo that’s cleaner and white bread doesn’t have to be bad... dave’s or rustik oven has some great options!
