- We hope this reaches as many of you as possible, we've tried every other way of communicating this but it's got to the point where unfortunately we've had to make this video. We love and appreciate every single one of you, and we think some of you have been caught out already, so we are doing what we can to stop others getting scammed like this.
We are doing as much as possible behind the scenes on this as well but honestly, this is probably the quickest and most effective way to limit the scammers as much as we can.

Evening all! Just to be clear, these twits engage with people in the comments section and then get you to carry on communication on other apps, mostly telegram.
If they are contacting people on Instagram it’s usually through normal messages on there.
So sorry it’s like this, we are doing what we can!

UA-cam/ Instagram need to pull their bloody fingers out and start tackling these scammers.
I get messages, emails etc everyday saying I’ve won items but I know they are a scam. Sadly some people will get scammed.

Makes you wonder what the scammers tell their mums about their job, I cant imagine a scammer saying 'well mum I con people to give me their bank details then rob them and ruin their lives'. Never, ever give personal or bank details to people over the internet, you're asking for trouble!

Well done on putting out this message, people need to be reminded of the old saying "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is."
You can take some consolation from the fact that if the scammers are targeting you, it means they think you've got a broad reach. Which you have - 88k subscribers and rising.
I've reported a few of the scam messages here, but like you say, nothing gets done.
Social media companies *really* need to get their act together.
It pisses me off no end that social media companies can just blithely say "They're not breaking any rules". If that's true, then they need to introduce some rules.
How can some scumbags pretend to be someone else, and blatantly try to scam people, and that's *not* breaking any rules?
But if you posted 10 seconds of copyrighted music, they'd be down on you like a ton of bricks in two minutes flat.
"Rules" my arse - it's all about money, and the scammers don't interfere with the social media company's profits, so no problem, right? 🤦♂
PS: It'll be interesting to see if any of these fake 'camper.vibe017' types have the nerve to try posting in this video's comments! 🤣

Yes, I've noticed there are a lot of scammers on multiple channels. Spread the word but surely viewers realise what is behind the scams, and simply ignore them.

Well done for letting people know about this, I have had people send telegram messages on other people's blogs before, but I just ignore them as I thought a telegram was something you got from the Queen when you reached 100 years old. The internet is great, but a pain in the rear with people trying to ruin it for the majority. Take care of each other. x

I find these scammer comments rather easy to spot, and always report them.

The two of you are so genuine and throughly entertaining. I would think that most people that follow you would know right away when asked for money, or told that they won something that it wouldn't be you. That is one of the many reasons I watch your videos, no pandering, begging, using click bait to get money, or making more of something than it is to get money. I believe that your videos are watched because the two of you have such a wonderful relationship, interesting adventures and seem very honest and genuine. Thank you for all that you do!

Been watching your content for a while - first time making a comment though! Seems your not the only one suffering this as some of the other van life/camping/outdoors channels i watch are having similar issues. I do think UA-cam (with all their £B's) should really be doing more to protect content creators and their subscribers though as this really does seem to be the latest craze! Good luck guys with the 100k hopefully it won't be long before getting that and then 250k! I think your content deserve's way more views it is always a quality watch, engaging and well filmed/edited! Great dynamic and thank you for sharing your travels and lifestyle, wish you many more safe miles ahead :-)
