This is it folks, we have finally moved out of our house and into our self built camper van FULL TIME! If you've missed the last few videos then we have sold our house so we can live in a van full time! We are going in search of an off grid remote property that we can renovate over the next few years. Our search will be a long one as we go looking at properties in Wales, Ireland, England, Spain, Portugal and beyond as we take a van life trip through Europe, down to Morocco and eventually into Eastern Europe visiting countries such as Poland, Estonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania etc etc.
It's going to be an exciting trip with many cultures and climates, so we are packing into our van as much as we can to see us through. We will mostly be wild camping as we go to keep costs down so join us on the journey to see how we get on, what we find and the properties we might buy!

Hi girls! Good luck on your adventure.! A few free tips..😂. We use vacuum storage bags, put your clothing/ soft furnishings in the bag, then stick the usb rechargeable pump thingy in the hole and suck all the air out of the bag, it reduces volume, not weight though, JML make them, but there’s others to choose from too, highly recommended when you’re stuck for space, also, the reinforced water pipe on the filter is 100% easier to get off (and on) if you warm it up with the hair dryer for a few mins beforehand. Your 27 minute video was easier to watch than most other UA-cam channels 10 min videos as are all of your vids, so 👍for that!! If you are wondering what pigeon hole we fit in to, we are a heterosexual couple,40’s and 50’s (latter is me unfortunately!) with three teenage kids, 2 spaniels, 1 rabbit (the furry type) and a Landcruiser Amazon to support, we wish you, AJ and Summer the very best In health and happiness, we will continue to follow you with great interest and support. We’re so used to seeing Louise as an accomplished storyteller, videographer, and spinner of innuendo that we forget she’s a crack carpenter and musician. I was sorry to see the uke go!
Put a couple of those cup hooks in a corner of the wood ceiling, wrap the ukulele in a towel, and strap it to the ceiling with a couple bungee cords. A year is a long time to go without your music.

It was fun seeing how excited you girls are about living in your van full time and looking for a new property at your leisure. Have fun and good luck.
One of my friends who has dual British and Swedish nationality has recently given up his sixth floor apartment in Sibiu, Romania and become a full time vanlifer in his Fiat motorhome. He's currently in Bulgaria and after a bit of touring including a few days on a site at Smolyan lakes where there is a three lakes hiking trail. Now he's wild camping near a beautiful beach 30kms south of Varna for a week or so.
The clothes in the cushion is a great idea!!! Excited for the new videos to come 🎉

Next time you're in a bind, use a closed long-nose pliers to prise open the eyelet. Place closed pliers inside the rim of the eyelet and open handles (needs a bit of pressure) to expand eyelet to form a hook without damaging the curve. Really useful when you want a closer fit to a surface than the wider spaced cup hooks.
Regarding the loops/hooks, you could have just forced open the end, it's not welded closed.
Anyway, good luck girls. You now have a full fanny and ready to go. XX
Panic: SOS: Help:::::: The ukulele will hook to a wall out of the way. Please, please take it with you. I love the way you play it but have never found any music to work on for myself. Putting that aside I wish you all the best, trouble free travelling and enjoy Ireland, one of my favourite countries; so tempting to buy a property.

Wasps will only sting you if you start flapping around them. I trod in a wasps nest when I was 11 getting conkers out of a tree. They chased me across a field and into my house. I had 13 wasps stings on my legs, I couldn't walk for a week.

We have a Starlink kit set on RV mode. The great thing about it is that you can pause your monthly for as long as you need.

Good luck for the future girls, Lou a tip to remind you to take the satalight dish in if you have a label printer print a reminder and stick it on the dashboard it's a trick I used as the carer for my late mother to remind me that I had to go into parking bays forward so I could get her mobility equipment out ( almost thirty years of backing in) since I now drive a vehicle with different fuel (diesel) put a reminder on dashboard where I can see it as I get out.
Like you I am house hunting spotted one or two places in the North East of Scotland one has some land which might be suitable for well behaved campervans (sorry snack bandit will have to be kept under control) summer and AJ would be welcome but there are Golden and White tailed eagles near you might lose the snack bandit so check life insurance.

We (hubby & I)have 10 ukuleles...I think we had 14 at one time.. 12 came with us when we sold our 3 bed house And moved across the Pacific ocean and now live in a 1 bed flat, both now working from home. You can get a hook that holds it to the wall, but glad you are not getting rid of it completely!
